The morning passed by quickly, and Ling Xuejiu left hand in hand with Li Mengjie. But as soon as they stepped out of the teaching building, Li Mengjie suddenly remembered something and said, "Ah, Xue Jiu, we forgot about Cold Bodyguard. What should we do about treating him to a meal?"

"I say, Xiao Jie, are you okay?" Ling Xuejiu was fuming and said, "Why do you care so much about him? Could it be that you’ve really taken a liking to him?"

Li Mengjie blushed, an uncommon occurrence for her, and said cheerfully, "I’m just thinking of your best interest, after all, he’s your bodyguard."

"Don’t bring it up; it infuriates me just to mention it! Let’s just go eat, he’s not an idiot or mentally challenged, can’t he just go to the cafeteria to eat on his own?" Saying so, Ling Xuejiu hailed a campus taxi and got in, telling the driver to head for Tenglong Hotel.

As he was wondering how to resolve his lunch dilemma, suddenly someone came out from the restroom—it was Zhao Xiaotian. He hurriedly approached, saying, "Brother Xuan, you’ve just arrived today and probably don’t know where to eat, right? Heh heh, let me invite you for a meal, consider it a welcome to brush away the dust of your journey!"
