Right then, with her face blushing, she recounted how Leng Xuan had run to the rooftop early in the morning the day before yesterday before dawn, stripping down to his bare skin, and she continued, "This morning, after Xue Jiu and I got up, we found that Cold Bodyguard’s room door was still closed. So, we went to knock on the door, but no one came out to open it for a long time, and we didn’t hear Cold Bodyguard’s voice. He didn’t answer his phone either. So, we found it strange. Old Master and Ling Ao both nodded with a smile, but Madame Ren looked somewhat displeased, managing only a forced smile, "Leng Xuan, we heard you had disappeared, so we came to check on you. Seeing you’re safe and sound is a relief to us, but... Xue’er says you’ve developed sleepwalking, is that true?"

Leng Xuan touched his nose out of habit, not expecting that the Old Master’s family had all come for his sake, indicating his significance, but explaining his disappearance and sleepwalking proved to be quite difficult. He gave a wry smile and then turned to Old Master Ling, saying, "Old Master, may I have a word with you alone?"

Old Master had already noticed the difficulty on Leng Xuan’s face and nodded slightly, standing up with a smile, "Alright, let’s go into the room and talk."

Madame Ren felt a bit displeased by the fact Leng Xuan had not answered her question but didn’t show it on her face.

"Xue Jiu, what do you think Cold Bodyguard wants to talk about with Grandpa Ling alone, and why can’t it be in front of us?" Li Mengjie asked with a hint of curiosity.

Ling Xuejiu replied somewhat gloomily, "How would I know, I’m not the worm in his stomach, am I?"

In the room, Leng Xuan didn’t wait for Old Master to ask before he explained about the new spell he had recently acquired. He had gone to the rooftop to cultivate early the day before yesterday, and Ling Xuejiu and Li Mengjie discovered him by chance.
