Leng Xuan felt a warm current sweep through his heart when he heard this. He had been missing for a day, and to think that the two young ladies were actually so anxious about him. It seemed they really did care about him. Especially Miss Ling Xuejiu, the girl who was usually cold as ice toward him, always carrying herself with the airs of a high and mighty heiress. But at that moment, from the tone of her conversation with Li Mengjie, it was clear she was actually quite concerned about him.

He gave a wry smile. At the moment, Leng Xuan was all covered in black. If the two young ladies knew about this, they might think he had fallen into a pit. Thus, he didn’t immediately go out to see them but went straight to the bathroom to shower instead.

In the living room, Ling Xuejiu pursed her lips and said, "Whether he can come back or not is another matter."

Upon hearing this, Li Mengjie also grew worried but still put on a light-hearted smile and said, "Xue Jiu, I didn’t expect you to be so concerned about the Cold Bodyguard!"

"A date?" Ling Xuejiu rolled her eyes. She knew a thing or two about Leng Xuan’s character. Even if he wanted to go on a date, he could have easily made up some excuse for that, right? Would he really go missing without even bringing his phone? Clearly, Li Mengjie’s suggestion was completely unfounded. After thinking it over, she said, "Let’s check his room again. Perhaps he left a note or something."

"Uh~! Okay, then." Li Mengjie nodded her head, and the two girls were about to head to Leng Xuan’s room when they suddenly heard a knock at the door. Instantly, Li Mengjie’s spirits lifted, and she said cheerfully, "It must be Leng Dabao coming back. I’ll go open the door, hehe!" Saying that, she hurried to answer the door.
