Chapter 109: Chapter - 109 A Flimsy Plan

Naithynn’s Point Of View

"But sir, what are you planning to do?" Fehlione asked.

"I’m just going to have a discussion with him. And... remind him of his place. Is that so wrong?" I asked.

I didn’t understand what the big deal was. Tristan had swept the Kings up in his pheromone hypnosis, and had them clamoring for his attention. All for information that he might have, and even if he did have the information, it wasn’t going to be given freely.

He had taken 4 mates and gotten a big head. It was only right for me to remind him that his place is at the feet of an Alpha. Giving Omegas too much power never ended well. Our father had been blinded by love for our mother, but if they had never mated, she would have still found an Alpha to suck up to.

I didn’t hate our parents, they had given us the best life possible. But they had crammed their views and beliefs down our throats to an insufferable degree. My brothers were infatuated with their lofty dreams, but no one wanted to get with the times. I saw no reason to worry about Alphas not being able to procreate, I didn’t particularly want children in the first place. It was clear the public at large didn’t think Omegas should be placed on a pedestal either, so why fight the majority.

"Boss, you would pick a fight with Ferdinand?" Mahrcus asked, looking truly freaked out.

I couldn’t help but sigh. He wasn’t seeing the bigger picture, and he clearly didn’t understand the predicament my brothers had put us in.

"Mahrcus, think about it. If Ferdinand threatened me, who do you think Waihlynn and Aidehynn would side with? Even Aidehynn can’t turn his back on me. Not to mention, they would no doubt barter with Ferdinand to keep whatever deal they had made alive. I’m practically untouchable." I laughed.

It was foolish of them to exclude me from business discussions in the first place. My brothers would surely learn that lesson the hard way.

"But all of Tristan’s mates didn’t go with Ferdinand. Only Sylvester went." Fehlione said.

"It’s fine. The others weren’t fighters. That’s probably why they didn’t go. Stop worrying so much." I said, as we approached the conference room door.

It hadn’t been properly shut all the way, and I could faintly hear Tristan speaking with Zachariah and the others inside. They were talking about some kind of contract for the new facilities.

"Hmm? Indeed... these are quite reasonable rules. Who might the representatives be, if you don’t mind me asking." I heard Zachariah say.

"Well I was thinking Lady Dyahlettah and Aidehynn... if they were willing..." Tristan had replied.

At that, my blood ran cold. The ignorant brat was planning to make Aidehynn the top brass for all the new facilities. Not only that, but Dyah was going to spear point it as well. It was unthinkable. I immediately began to see red. It was a slap in the face to put a 2nd hierarchy in play amongst the Kings.

To make matters worse, it appeared that Zachariah was completely on board with that plan. I turned to face Mahrcus and Fehlione. If they were going to go this far to dismantle the flimsy peace the Kings already had, then it was up to me to show them the error of their ways.

"Mahrcus, do we still have the box of goodies that Danhiel gave us?" I asked, with a mischievous glint in my eyes.

"Yes boss. They are in your truck... Why...?" He replied.

"Go retrieve them now. We have work to do. I’ve changed my mind. It would appear I need to teach them all a valuable lesson tonight. Danhiel would no doubt be indebted to me if he is captured by Ferdinand tonight as well." I replied.

He replied with a nod and began to head for the parking garage. Meanwhile, Fehlione was looking sick to his stomach. But we had no time for second guessing ourselves now.

My mind began to grow darker as memories from a distant past came to mind unbidden.

"Naithynn, you must not treat Omegas the same way as everyone else. You will condemn yourself to an empty life by doing so."

"Mother, you claim that you love us equally, but you never chastise my brothers for their loose morals either. It’s always me! Why do I need to follow in father’s footsteps just because he has a blatant weakness for Omegas? Would you still feel the same way if he had an affair with another Omega?!"

*SLAP!*

"You watch your mouth young man! Your father would never do such a thing! He wants to make life easier for you boys in all things! Money cannot buy you happiness, and when you do find a mate, it would become unbearable to watch them suffer at the hands of this Gods forsaken world. Is that what you want? To have a mate that is forced to sell their body, to be of use to this world?"

"My mate would never need to do such a thing, because I can provide for them myself!"

"And what about before you find them? Would they not need to sell their body to survive before they meet you? That is what your father wants to avoid. If you boys would have been born Omegas, and your father was not the wealthy man he is today, you would need to sell your body after coming of age. Is it so hard for you to see things from another’s point of view?"

"Sir...?" I heard Mahrcus’s voice pull me from the abyss.

"Is it all there?" I asked.

"Yes, sir... But–"

"Good. Then let’s begin." I said cutting him off swiftly.

Tristan’s Point Of View

"Ungh... Fuck... What the hell...?" I groaned.

I awoke laying on top of a bed that smelled of cigarettes and dust. I had been bound by a thick rope at my shoulders and elbows. And then again at my ankles and knees. My body felt like I had been thoroughly beaten, and my head was throbbing. I could barely focus my eyes enough to see properly. Suddenly, I remembered the face I had seen before I passed out, and began searching the room in earnest.

There were two tall men standing off to the side that I didn’t recognize. One had long wavy red hair, and the other had long straight black hair. They looked at me with worry clear on their faces.

The room we were in smelled of cigarettes as well, and it was a far cry from the fancy hotel rooms of Zachariah’s hotel. To make matters worse, I had been stripped down and placed in a pair of shorts that didn’t belong to me. Suddenly, I felt a chill run up my spine and flinched.

"Awake at last, I see. You must be extremely weak to knock out drugs. I’m sure the others are awake by now, and no doubt loosing their minds over trying to find you." A man laughed from behind me.

He ran a hand through my hair and took in a deep breath of me. Everything about this situation was harrowing, but there was something gnawing at me that I couldn’t stop wondering.

"Aren’t you Waihlynn and Aidehynn’s brother? Why do this? They spoke so fondly of you, but you betrayed their trust so easily...? I don’t understand..." I groaned.

I was quickly realizing that I had been away from my Alphas for too long. My head felt like it would split open any moment now.

"HA! I betrayed them? Not even close! What right do they have to make business deals and hold business discussions without me?! I’m their brother and yet they didn’t think to bring me to the table with them. They are incredibly selfish and unbearably naive!" He said, gripping my hair tightly.

"AH! P-Please stop!" I cried out.

The pain sent shockwaves throughout my entire body. It was excruciating to say the least. There also seemed to be some kind of misunderstanding at work here.

"You seem to misunderstand something. We didn’t have any sort of business discussions... I just wanted to know how Aidehynn’s facility functioned, and whether or not it could be replicated... My siblings were abducted from home, so they volunteered to help retrieve them... that’s all..." I replied.

The two men off to the side were looking at me in shocked bemusement, so I could guess their information had been lacking somehow. We hadn’t gotten to negotiations, because everything had been happening too fast. I couldn’t properly focus with my siblings in captivity.

"It doesn’t matter now. What’s done is done. You will keep me company while we wait for Ferdinand and Sylvester to lose their minds with worry over your disappearance as well. I’d pay good money to watch those stupid bastards cry in despair over your loss." He said, turning me over to face him.

His overbearing grin was annoying, to say the least. However, there was one extremely large glaring hole in his ridiculous plan. And since I was feeling exceptionally spiteful about him talking shit about my mates, I gladly wanted to set him straight.

"Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but there is a huge flaw in your plan." I said with smug assurance.

"Oho? I like that seductive look in your eyes. Do enlighten me on this flaw you speak of." He chuckled, grabbing my chin in his firm grip.

"Unfortunately for you, my mates know where I am at all times... And I don’t even need a tracking chip!" I said with a glare, as I gripped my right wrist and placed my right hand over Bellamy’s mark on my left shoulder.

"W-What are you talking about?!" Naithynn yelled.

"They’ll be here soon, y’know. Best have your excuses ready!" I glared in defiance.

’Lucky for me he bound my hands in such a foolish manner... Hurry up and come get me boys...’
