Chapter 911: Chapter 515: Did This Empty Out the Luck Pool Again?_3

Those two people were clearly heading for the two trucks!

Some hesitated, others speculated.

Just at that moment, suddenly, an alarm bell rang out across the Manor!

The piercing sound alerted the three groups still on watch that someone had seized the opportunity to enter the Museum!

This was surely a cause for irritation!

One team didn’t move; it was just one person, and there was no need for him to rush to the front.

The group of four was the quickest to act, with three members bolting from their surveillance spot and racing towards the Manor, weapons in hand!

They couldn’t allow the prize they were after to be snatched away by others!

And from the team of three, one person also darted out, sneaking towards the Manor from a different direction. However, his movements were minimal, very cautious, making it hard for others to spot him.

Lincoln Harrington was the first to spot the trio providing mutual cover. Without a moment’s hesitation, he squeezed the trigger at the man at the front carrying a submachine gun!

Through the night vision scope, the man’s body jerked and he fell to the ground, then a pool of blood spread out beneath him!

His two comrades instantly hit the deck, rolling and scrambling for cover.

Lincoln took aim at another one with unhurried precision, "Bang," another shot rang out!

The man’s tactical actions were highly skilled. Several feints made Lincoln’s shot less effective, hitting the man only in his shoulder, wounding but not killing him.

The other had already found his bearings and raised his gun to spray bullets wildly towards Lincoln, hoping to suppress Lincoln’s firepower.

Unfortunately, the effective range of a submachine gun was too short, and the bullets fell several tens of meters away from Lincoln, posing no threat.

After emptying a magazine, the opponent dodged and prepared to reload during which Lincoln calmly finished him off.

The wounded man was left unshot by Lincoln. As long as he didn’t continue to advance, Lincoln was content to leave a survivor.

The opponent’s gun wasn’t close at hand, and Lincoln occasionally observed him, hoping he wouldn’t seek death.

The other person who had sneaked in was in a blind spot outside of Lincoln’s view, unaware that another group had infiltrated as well.

What Lincoln could see was the lone member of the other group.

No one there moved, so he was also happy to just watch the injured man.

Sean Knight heard gunshots inside the Museum, his heart tightening. He sped up the collection while also drawing his gun.

He made his way to the very back of the Museum and started collecting from the inside out.

At this point, he had already collected one-third, over 100 items.

It might sound insubstantial, but in fact, it was incredibly fast!

After all, from the start of the gunfight up until now, only five or six minutes had elapsed!

The distinct sound of Lincoln’s gunshots signalled to Sean that Lincoln was likely engaging the enemy and had exchanged fire with them.

Subsequent spray from a submachine gun confirmed Sean’s guess.

He knew there must be enemies outside, but at that moment, he couldn’t worry about that.

As long as he could collect the items inside, relying on his "Sky Eye" and the ability to see at night, those intruders would unlikely pose a threat to him.

Indeed, less than a minute later, the nearby gunshots stopped, leading Sean to surmise that Lincoln had taken care of the enemies—or at least some of them.

He didn’t relax though, continuing to collect the items quickly.

With each item collected, Sean’s sense of satisfaction grew.

He could feel some of these items contained a very strong "Power of Faith."

However, now was not the time to appreciate them, it was a time to gather and go!

It was not until he had reached the front gate of the Museum and collected everything that Sean finally allowed himself to breathe easier.

It had been exhausting.

After all, touching over two or three hundred items was no small feat.

Having collected everything, Sean took his gun and carefully began to make his way towards the Entrance.

There was no one around within a dozen meters of the Entrance.

At the limit of his Sky Eye’s vision, Sean saw no living souls.

But with scarce cover near the Museum’s front gate, Sean dared not take rash action. He thought for a moment, then pulled out a package of self-heating rice from his spatial realm and threw it from Inside the Door.

No reaction.

Could there really be no one there?

Sean thought again, took out another package of food, wrapped it in clothes, and threw it outside again.

Still no reaction.

Sean somewhat relaxed, and crouching low, he burst out towards the outside.

Having sprinted across the open space of the Museum and reached the bushes, Sean finally slowed his pace.

Should be no issues now, right?

Sean used his Sky Eye to scan the area, his gaze drawn to two corpses and one person who was still alive but injured.

That must have been Lincoln’s handiwork, right?

Sean smiled and began to head towards Lincoln’s location.

At that moment, a sudden sense of alarm surged within him, and he rolled away to the side!

"Snap!"

A crisp gunshot hit where he had just been!

Sean broke out in a cold sweat!

If not for his quick reactions, he would have been shot just now!

While dodging, he had already pinpointed the location of the shooter. What comes around goes around, and Sean returned fire towards that spot!

At this moment, Lincoln was startled too!

Within the view of his scope, Sean suddenly rolled, then with the incoming gunshot, Lincoln realized someone else had made their way in!

But the shooter was within a blind spot for him, completely unseen!

Without a second thought, Lincoln shifted his position on the Rooftop, trying to find a vantage point to spot the assailant!

But Sean was not one to back down. Continuing to fire in the direction of his opponent, he kept changing locations, swiftly moving closer to the point where the shots had come from, using every tree and building for cover.

If they dared to shoot at him, then there was no chance he would let them get away!

Come on!

Sean had already completed his mission, and now it was time to blow off some steam!

The opponent, unaware of what was happening, fired that one shot and then there were no further responses.

Sean had approached close enough for his Sky Eye to see the spot from where the shot was fired. What his Sky Eye revealed was bullet shells on the ground and a small pool of blood.

But there was no person!

The opponent had fled!

How could Sean possibly allow his assailant to escape? He immediately gave chase!
