Chapter 881: Chapter 505 Infiltrating the Enemy_3
"I’m going," Sean Knight waved his hand dismissively. "I have an advantage and it’ll be easier for me to get the items."
"But I’ve already shown my face..." Lincoln Harrington shook his head. "They will definitely be watching me."
"Then it’s settled." Sean Knight was prepared, he glanced at Lincoln Harrington and then stood up to fetch a mirror. Facing his own face, and then Lincoln’s, he began to channel the energy within his body, adjusting the muscles of his face.
Lincoln Harrington watched in astonishment as Sean’s face slowly changed.
Was this some kind of face-changing technique?
In just a few seconds, Sean Knight’s face had transformed into Lincoln Harrington’s!
Although it wasn’t an exact match, it was at least eighty-eight percent similar!
"How about it? With the general face-blindness of foreigners towards Chinese people, wouldn’t I be able to pass as you and blend in?"
"Of course, no problem. You can totally pull it off!" Lincoln hadn’t expected Sean to have such a trick up his sleeve. He exclaimed in admiration, but then waved his hands and said, "Boss, there’s bound to be danger inside... I’m worried..."
"Take a look at this..." Sean Knight shook the mirror he was holding and then waved his right hand in front to attract attention, while the left hand deftly concealed the mirror into the spatial realm.
Witnessing the mirror vanishing into thin air, Lincoln’s eyes once again widened in disbelief.
How did he do that?
"I can perform magic," Sean Knight said with a laugh, shaking his hands and "bringing back" the mirror. "This way, I can sneak medicine away undetected, for easier research later on."
At Sean Knight’s solo performance, Lincoln really had nothing to say, and the matter was settled just like that.
The plan was as follows: Sean Knight would find an opportunity inside to take the drugs and probe the situation. Lincoln Harrington would wait outside to provide support, and they would help each other out if anything happened.
Of course, this was contingent on whether they would allow Sean Knight into the laboratory.
"That woman mentioned two options at the time. I think one of them might be to take the medicine at home and the other to take it in the laboratory,"
Lincoln analyzed:
"So then..."
"I choose the laboratory," Sean Knight said while packing up his things. "Trust me, I’ll take good care of myself. After all, I am a billionaire and I truly cherish my life."
Lincoln stayed silent; he knew that although his boss enjoyed adventuring, at heart he was still quite righteous. Confronted with such a situation, if he didn’t investigate personally, he would likely remain restless for a lifetime.
"...I’ll need cameras—those hidden kinds; Recording Pen—forget it, it’s too big and too easy to get caught."
Sean Knight muttered to himself while packing: "The other side isn’t stupid, they’ll know there are suspicious people around and will surely have tight security. Hmm, looks like I’ll have to resort to my Transfer Trick!"
Lincoln didn’t concern himself with Sean’s muttering, as he was busy devising his own plan.
He needed to clarify the laboratory’s blueprints, the nearby buildings, how to provide support without alerting more people and achieving his goal more successfully.
Then, if something, or rather when something went wrong, how to mitigate the situation.
Suddenly, Lincoln looked up at Sean who had yet to transform his face back and thought that it would be troublesome if his boss did something bad while wearing his own face.
Fortunately, after a glance, he saw that Sean’s face was eighty percent similar to his own. If it was a Chinese person, especially someone familiar, they would most likely realize it at first sight.
This was the difference between a stand-in and the real person.
But to a foreigner, it probably wouldn’t be noticeable.
Sean Knight, sensing Lincoln’s gaze, looked up, smiled, and then lowered his head again, continuing to brainstorm possible plans and intending to go out to buy some items for any emergency needs.
The next day, Sean Knight, dressed in casual clothes and carrying a bag, arrived at the entrance to the Drug Laboratory.
He didn’t have to wait a minute before the door opened and a woman in her thirties, still full of charm and wearing a white coat, came out.
"Hello, it’s a pleasure to see you again. You will understand in time that you have made the right choice," she extended her hand. "My name is Molly Wilson."
Sean Knight, wearing most of Lincoln Harrington’s face, already knew that this woman had met Lincoln the day before. He extended his hand and shook the woman’s hand:
"Hello, my name is Luke Anderson."
Sean Knight was confident that the woman wouldn’t ask for his identification. Of course, even if she checked, he had no fear; his forged documents were ready.
Molly’s hand was cool, not very soft, and she gripped Sean’s hand a bit tightly.
"Let’s go, you’ll need to go through a procedure. You must prove that neither of your parents has any other ethnicities in their lineage," Molly said, pulling Sean by the hand toward the laboratory’s front gate. "Others have already come inside."
"I just came over from China for tourism," Sean Knight shook his head. "I don’t know how to prove that."
"Well, just show me your ID document then," Molly winked at Sean. "Really, just by looking at your appearance, it’s pretty much confirmed—you are definitely pure Chinese."
Alright, Sean Knight realized that Molly seemed to be quite taken with "himself." Was Lincoln Harrington’s luck with women really that good recently?
Once they entered the front gate, they walked about thirty meters and Molly took out her work card to swipe through security, leading Sean into the hemispherical structure.
Releasing his hand, Sean observed the interior of the building.
From the outside, it appeared spherical, but inside it differed little from typical scientific research institutions.
Entering through the doors was a lobby, complete with a reception, busy staff scurrying by, some people greeting Molly, and others casting curious glances at Sean.
From here, it was evident that the spherical structure was divided into three floors, but as to what exactly each floor was for, Sean wasn’t quite sure.
However, he didn’t intend to figure out the exact nature of things right now—his current task was to quickly get into character and then infiltrate the "Organization," to avoid drawing attention.
But looking around, it was clear that going unnoticed wasn’t really an option. As Molly led him through, heads turned frequently to stare at him, as if his presence with Molly was causing some sensational effect.
Sean felt somewhat embarrassed inwardly, was it possible that he had disrupted some of Lincoln’s good fortune?
While lost in thought, Sean was led by Molly to the Third Floor’s Meeting Room.
At the Meeting Room door, Molly stopped and said to Sean:
"Lincoln, there are a dozen or so people in there, just like you. But remember, you are different. Understand? You are the one I personally brought here, remember!"
