Chapter 804: Chapter 478: Building a Private Forces Empire?_3

The driver, however, didn’t get out of the car but waved his hand and said,

"I have to rush back, so I won’t stay, goodbye!"

He waved to Sean Knight again, then drove off.

Sean Knight didn’t stop him. When he had gotten out of the car earlier, he had left a cigarette on the seat as a thank-you gift.

Upon entering the house, the family chatted and laughed. After Sean Knight washed his hands, his mother had already brought over the Xinjiang noodles.

As he enjoyed the noodles his mother made, Sean Knight said,

"I couldn’t eat well over in Japan, I’ve been longing for this taste."

Nancy Knight said with a smile, "Then stay at Home more. I’ll make them for you every day!"

Isaac Thompson said, "Could you eat it every day? Two days is enough. Besides, Sean is so busy now; there must be so much work waiting for him on the island."

Last time when the family returned from the island, Sean Knight wasn’t there. While eating, he asked,

"How was your time on the island?"

"It was wonderful," Nancy Knight replied, wearing an apron and smiling as she watched her son eat,

"Lana Brown took great care of us. The island has beautiful scenery and plenty to offer. Who would have thought that so much could be fished out of the sea..."

"Exactly, it was quite an eye-opener," Ralph Knight also expressed with admiration.

Seeing the longing on Oscar Knight’s face, Sean Knight laughed and said,

"Brother, why don’t you take your sister-in-law and go together this time. The plane is currently in Urumqi, and I’ll be flying over in a few days."

"That would be great!" Oscar Knight was naturally pleased, "I knew it was nice over there, I want to experience it too!"

Sean Knight stayed at Home for five days, mostly staying Inside Courtyard without planning to go out.

Joseph Davis had the donation ceremony ready five days later. According to him, some provincial leaders would attend, along with some from the Military District. Sean Knight was somewhat surprised by this.

It seemed to be quite a significant event!

He hadn’t expected that, without realizing it, his influence had reached such a level!

The donation ceremony took place in front of the Museum, coinciding with the Museum’s opening.

By then, quite a few local and out-of-town tourists had come to visit the Museum, not expecting to witness a donation ceremony. A few grumbled, but after hearing the staff’s explanation and seeing the Banner, they immediately stopped complaining and instead waited for the ceremony to start.

Sean Knight arrived at the site first. While the ceremony hadn’t started yet, he was ushered inside by the staff to wait.

In a short while, the staff invited him out as the provincial leader’s car had pulled up, and Sean Knight felt a rush of excitement.

After all, it was his moment to shine!

The donation ceremony was simple. The guests were introduced, Sean Knight’s donated items were described, and there was a symbolic display of his donations. The Museum issued a certificate, followed by speeches from the provincial leaders, and then the Museum officially opened.

Because this donation included over 100 cultural relics, some of national importance, most tourists went straight to these items.

The provincial leader had a private chat with Sean Knight and then left.

After exchanging farewells with Joseph Davis and others, Sean Knight headed to the Airport.

The airplane flew directly to Ocean City, where Elijah Hastings and Douglas Cooper were waiting.

After Lincoln Harrington briefed Sean Knight on the situation, Elijah Hastings and Douglas Cooper were also informed.

The situation was quite urgent, so both their vacations were automatically shortened.

After a brief stop in Ocean City, the airplane took off again into the sky, heading toward Big Island with a few more passengers.

From the air, Big Island was still as beautiful as ever. As they began their descent, Sean Knight noticed that there were significantly more boats nearby the island than before.

And the number of Tourists on the island had increased as well.

It seemed that they would need to continue adding more staff.

And they would have to start working on the Sea patrol forces as soon as possible.

After the airplane landed at the Airport, Sean Knight and the others immediately drove by Tram to the Living Area.

Some curious tourists looked their way, as people coming from the Airport in a business jet were quite eye-catching.

Ignoring these tourists, Sean Knight and his group reached the Living Area, where Lincoln Harrington was already at the Entrance to greet them.

Days had passed, but signs of the recent Combat could still be seen around.

Bullet shells weren’t picked up completely, and the Villa’s renovation wasn’t finished. Fortunately, the interior wasn’t too damaged, and it was still habitable.

Lana Brown was also awaiting Sean Knight’s arrival. Upon seeing a little girl in the crowd, Lana knew this must be Monica Reed.

As for Christina Blackwood, although she was young herself, compared to Monica Reed, she was already the elder lady.

During previous calls, Sean Knight had already explained Monica Reed’s circumstances.

According to Sean Knight, she should start from the bottom with the most basic staff roles.

After all, she was previously in hospitality, and now there were many parts of the island in need of service personnel.

Lana Brown, however, said she had other plans.

Sean Knight didn’t interfere. Since he’d delegated management of Big Island to her, and since she managed it so well, he didn’t need to worry about it anymore.

After greeting Sean Knight and knowing they wanted to discuss the island’s defense situation, Lana Brown left, taking Monica Reed and Christina Blackwood with her.

Sean Knight had also briefed Monica Reed about Lana Brown during the flight, so although Monica Reed was somewhat reserved, she obediently followed Lana Brown away.

Once inside the Villa, just as Sean Knight sat down, Lincoln Harrington came with a stack of Maps and, placing them on the tea table, said,

"Boss, shall I present my thoughts now?"

"Sure!" Although they had just alighted from the airplane, everyone had undergone energy transformation and thus weren’t tired.

All knew that strengthening the island’s security was now the most critical task, so nobody objected.

"After Lincoln speaks, the rest of you add your ideas," Sean Knight said. "As for Equipment, speak your minds without worrying about availability. If it’s available or not is for me to determine. You just focus on perfecting the plan."

Upon hearing this, Elijah and the others got excited.

This was indeed good news!

With the fear of the enemy’s firepower still fresh in everyone’s mind, if it was just about wishing for more, then the sky was the limit!
