Chapter 767: Chapter 465: Is Everything An Accident? _3

The paintings were rolled up and put together.

Sean Knight didn’t even look at them directly. He put all the ancient books here into the spatial realm, including those paintings.

Then he walked to the wall opposite the door of the Side Palace.

A painting of the "Cold River Fishing" was hung on the wall, nearly blocking half of it.

Sean Knight carefully took down the painting, rolled it up and put it into his bag, then began to study the wall.

Of course, this wall was not ancient, nor was it moved from China, but behind the wall, there was another story.

The reason Sean Knight opened the eastern palace door first was to let him stay there, otherwise, it would be difficult for him to explain here.

After studying for a while, he found the door opening in the corner of the wall. He twisted a slightly protruding brick at the wall corner, and the wall slowly moved, revealing a hole large enough for a person to enter and exit.

Sean Knight smelled the complex odor coming from the cave. He waited for a while before crawling in.

The space inside the cave wasn’t large, but the things inside surprised Sean Knight!

It is a long space that is one and a half meters wide and has the same length as the Side Palace.

It must be the hidden room left behind when the Side Palace was built.

On the left side of the hidden room, a variety of porcelain was densely arranged.

Sean Knight casually picked one up, looked at the inscription on the bottom, it was "Made in the Yongzheng Period of Qing Dynasty". This is a blue and white prunus vase, elegant and generous, very representative of the Yongzheng era’s style.

It’s a rare gem among the official kiln products!

After storing this one, he took out another one, "Chenghua years of the Ming Dynasty", a doucai bowl.

It’s a good thing, stored.

After storing these porcelain pieces one by one, Sean Knight counted and found there were thirty-four pieces.

Behind them were pieces of jade ware, placed on a delicate wooden shelf.

From the rusty Jade Cong of the high ancient times, to the nearly transparent jade bowls of recent times, there were more than twenty top-quality pieces!

It seems that this Tanaka has really not scraped less good stuff in China!

Moving further inside, a large object scared Sean Knight!

Could this thing be brought back, isn’t this too exaggerated?

This is a thing that is almost one and a half meters long, small in size, but enough to be shocking: the golden-jade clothing!

What surprised Sean Knight was that this golden-jade clothing was displayed standing up.

If it were not for Sean Knight’s good eyes, he would certainly be startled!

Seeing that the jade has rust, it should also be taken from the tomb, but exactly from where, this is unknown.

Knowing that now is not the time for research, Sean Knight collected this thing as well.

The left side just had so many things.

Originally, Sean Knight thought that the things in the belly of the bull-headed god were enough to shock him.

Little did he expect that the things in this hidden room were even more frightening!

Then came the right side.

Immediately to the right of the cave entrance is a piece of Bronze Ware, a bronze tripod about forty centimeters high.

It hasn’t been cleaned up, so the rust on it is very obvious, some words are covered by rust, Sean Knight’s Sky Eye can see, but the specific meaning requires research.

He just roughly counted, there are nearly twenty words.

This is not simple!

After collecting the tripod, the pair of bronze wine cups behind it was also collected, followed by an exceptionally sharp bronze sword with an inscription.

Sean Knight was already a bit numbed by these things, he didn’t look closely, just collected them. Afterwards, he saw two pieces of tri-coloured glazed pottery of the Tang Dynasty.

Sean Knight was a bit hesitant, these things were used to suppress the grave - well, just collect them. Small or large, they’re all treasures.

Then there was also a shelf, on which was a head not much larger than the gold and silver ware.

Golden Ruyi, golden belt hook, golden hairpin, gold and silver amulet coins, etc.

Sean Knight simply collected the shelf altogether, and then saw the items placed in the farthest part.

It was a shelf with three swords on it.

The kind of Japanese samurai sword, of various lengths.

Sean Knight only roughly knew about the existence of Tachi and ribs, but he wasn’t clear about the specific differences.

He didn’t research.

Sean collected a sword and pulled it out to see. He found that the sword kabuto(guard) was engraved with the royal emblem "Chrysanthemum Emblem", and the menuki (ornamentation) was also a three-linked chrysanthemum relief.

The Sword Kabuto is a metal part installed at the contact point between the sword body and the sword sheath, mainly to prevent the sword body from sliding out of the sheath, causing inconvenience.

The engraved patterns on this sword are not something that can be casually made, Sean Knight immediately understood, this thing is very likely, the Imperial Sword given by the Emperor!

Collected!

After collecting this thing along with the sword rack, Sean Knight looked at the rest, basically nothing worth mentioning. He just glanced around and was ready to leave, but he turned back again!

That glance made him feel that the cloth ball thrown in the corner of the hidden room was not so simple.

He bent down to pick up the "cloth", gently shook it open, and found that there were actually words woven on it!

What’s more, the words on it were yellow, they were Tibetan, he couldn’t understand.

Although Sean Knight couldn’t understand this, he knew another similar thing that was well-known!

The Dharani Quilt!

At that time when the Qing mausoleum was robbed, the treasures in Emperor Qianlong’s subterranean palace were stolen, and the tomb raiders were all going for the gold and silver treasures. The Dharani Quilt on his body was discarded like garbage.

But who could have thought that when this thing appeared at an auction in 2008, it sold for 65 million!

Two years later, the price doubled, becoming 130 million!

Why did the royal family value this thing so much?

Of course, there’s a reason!

The "Dharani Quilt" also known as the "Rebirth Blanket" or "Dharani Quilt" has many merits in the names of various Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and Dharani’s powerful virtues written in Sanskrit (or Tibetan) on it. This Dharani Quilt was used in the Qing Dynasty by the emperor’s order, and without the emperor’s decree, no one could use it.

Buddhism believes that it possesses incredible great magical blessing power. Regardless of men and women, when they reach the end of their life, covering their bodies with this quilt can cleanse their sins, lead to a good birth, free the deceased from all the difficulties of past worldly grievances and demon obstacles, bring peace to the deceased’s body and mind, and Amitabha Buddha will guide them to be reborn into the Western Paradise.

The use of the Dharani Rebirth Quilt is not limited to anyone. Both men and women, old and young, who believe and do not believe in the religion, can use it at the end of their lives, even those who do not believe in the religion in their lifetime, defame the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), disbelieve in cause and effect, and have little merit, can also eliminate their sins by using this quilt, form a bond with the Three Jewels. It is commonly said that when a dead person wearing the Dharani Sutra Quilt arrives in the underworld, even Yama has to stand up and show respect.

Thinking of these, Sean Knight simply collected this thing.

No matter who uses it, it can’t possibly be a Japanese soldier’s thing anyway!
