Chapter 650: Chapter 421: Fighting Outer Mongolia Again

On the beach, Sean Knight, shirtless, was lounging on a chair, basking in the sun.

Lana Brown stared at him with a hint of jealousy.

"Explain this to me. You’re a man who has been in the sun for several days and yet your skin is even fairer than mine. I apply sunscreen every day, where in the world is the justice in that?"

Big Island is located in the tropics and the ultraviolet rays in the sunshine are particularly strong. Lana Brown came here on vacation, tried her best to protect herself, but couldn’t evade getting slightly tanned.

Sean, with a sun hat squeezing onto his face, didn’t even glance at her and said:

"How about you switch, to the domestic?"

"I’m not going!" Lana immediately refused. "It’s so good here. Just look at it. Today alone we have over a dozen tour groups from China. How much different is it from being back home?

And the island is so large with so many resources that it’s amazing. It’s also well-equipped now. Where can we find such a great place back home?"

"That’s why," Sean played coy, "this is an inevitable sacrifice. And after all, isn’t this skin color seen as a sign of health in the world now? Our home country is slowly accepting it too, why must you worry so much?"

"I’m not worried about that. I am upset about why you don’t get tanned!" It was then that Lana realized that Sean had cleverly diverted her. She couldn’t help but pinch him. She asked,

"Are you taking some sort of pill or something?"

"We’re together every day. Don’t you know whether I’m taking pills or not?" Sean counter-asked.

He hadn’t told Lana about the energy thing yet. It wasn’t that he was reluctant to, he just thought it was immature.

After the mission in the South Sea was over and they had entrusted Kathy Lewis with the acquisition of the permafrost, Sean and his crew sailed to Big Island.

Elijah Hastings and the others were on a mission and came here to relax.

Originally, they thought it would be the same as before. Apart from the occasional arrival of others and a construction team, they would be pretty much alone on Big Island.

However, upon arrival, they found the place bustling with life.

What surprised them more was that everyone was from China.

Sean hadn’t expected Lana to have built the tourism business to the point it was at now.

Although it wasn’t profitable yet, it had started to take shape.

Sean and his team didn’t alert anyone else and just quietly blended into the crowd of tourists.

As soon as Lana found out Sean was here, she came over immediately.

She was, in a way, giving herself a break this time, as she wanted to experience the joy of a vacation—previous trips were for ensuring others were enjoying themselves, while she barely enjoyed the experience.

Of course, the enjoyment of a vacation also depended on who you were with.

Most tourists came over by boat. A yacht docked at the pier would occasionally arouse a lot of curiosity.

Lincoln Harrington had recovered quickly, and Elijah and two others set out to sea on the yacht.

Over these days, they got to know a few tourists, and occasionally had a few friends aboard the yacht.

However, normally in such situations, Elijah would report to Sean conveying a sense of discipline.

Initially, Lana thought that Sean had come to check on her work so she was a bit nervous, but when she found out that Sean had just come for a recreational visit, she immediately relaxed, enjoying their twosome.

"Come, put some lotion on me," After Lana applied oil to Sean, she laid down on the beach chair and asked Sean to do the same for her.

Although there were many tourists, girls of Lana’s caliber were rare, so they naturally attracted attention on the beach.

Luckily, Lana had anticipated this, so she made sure the area was well-secured and there were no incidents.

When Sean brought up the issue, Lana rolled her eyes and said,

"Well, it’s not that there weren’t any incidents, but when they did happen, they were immediately stopped. And then the stories got blown out of proportion, so now everyone behaves more ’friendly’ and polite."

"What happened?" Sean asked while rubbing oil onto Lana’s back.

"There was a family that came for a trip – the parents and their daughter are all Chinese, but the daughter’s husband is a foreigner. They wanted to rent a surfboard – apparently the son-in-law is an expert and wanted to show off.

However, at the time, all the surfboards were rented out. Our staff asked them to wait since there was a queue.

There was this guy who came to return a surfboard, and by the rules, the next person in line was a girl. But that foreigner rushed forward to grab the surfboard. His Chinese wife also came over and said that since her husband is a foreigner, he should be given priority – the nerve!"

Hearing this from Lana Brown, a Chinese American, Sean found it quite amusing and laughed.

"What’s so funny? Am I wrong?" Lana propped herself up, turned her head with a fake stern gaze at Sean, "Just because I’ve lived abroad for many years, doesn’t mean I tolerate such people!"

"It’s good you don’t." Sean leaned over to kiss her, he said,

"Even most people can’t tolerate such behavior, but unfortunately, there are such people in the world, you can’t help it, can you?"

"That’s why I didn’t indulge them! I had the men in security pull them aside immediately and clearly explain to them that when they are here, they need to abide by the rules. Those who are to be prioritised according to the national regulations will be given priority. As for those seeking a sense of superiority, sorry, but no!"

"And in the end? Didn’t they give you trouble?"

"Of course not. The people around even applauded in support! You should have seen the scene then..."

As Lana spoke, her eyes sparkled and were full of life.
