Chapter 612: Chapter 401: A Fierce One Right From The Start!_2
Elijah Hastings and Douglas Cooper prepared themselves on the deck.
Sean Knight went to his bedroom, and when he returned, he had two pistols and several hand grenades with him.
"If the other party has malicious intent, then we shouldn’t show mercy!" Sean Knight handed the weapons to Elijah Hastings and Douglas Cooper, "Of course, it’s best if we don’t have to use them."
It’s always better to be prepared, as everyone understands.
Elijah Hastings and Douglas Cooper put the weapons away and kept a vigilant eye on the motorboat.
The motorboat was now less than 200 meters from the yacht, but its speed had not decreased at all!
By now, the yacht had weighed anchor and started moving, with Lincoln Harrington carrying out evasive maneuvers.
However, the yacht’s acceleration was slow, while the motorboat’s charge was swift!
"Get ready!" Elijah Hastings reminded Douglas Cooper, "Even if we get hit, we should damage them in return!"
Lincoln Harrington clenched his lips, calmly piloting the yacht and constantly adjusting its angle.
Even though the waves stirred by the motorboat had already started to affect the yacht, he remained calm and continued making adjustments!
Just as the motorboat was about to collide with the yacht, and Elijah Hastings could even see the sneering faces of several people on the motorboat’s deck, the yacht swerved slightly, adjusting its angle, and both boats passed by each other with a distance of merely three to four meters!
Several blackened objects emitting smoke were thrown onto the deck of the motorboat.
The yacht’s speed continued to increase, and it surged forward, creating a white wave in its wake!
The motorboat began to slow down and turn, clearly not intending to let the yacht off the hook.
Then, a series of "booming" noises accompanied by flames erupted on the motorboat!
The opposing side immediately fell into chaos - although the hand grenades didn’t blow open the deck, they killed and injured several people!
This was quite a big deal!
"I heard them; it’s the voice of Little Japan - these cowardly bastards! They intended to sink us tonight!" Elijah Hastings heard their desperate cries for help, clearly not coming from their side.
"Their hull is made of iron; they didn’t sink!" Douglas Cooper lamented.
"I’m going in the water. You guys circle around them!" Sean Knight made a swift decision and changed into a diving suit.
"Boss, it’s dangerous! The back of the boat is very dangerous when it is moving..."
Douglas Cooper’s persuasion didn’t change Sean Knight’s mind:
"Since they came and dared to confront us, we can’t let them escape!"
"I’ll go with you!" Elijah Hastings quickly changed into a diving suit as well.
"You guys stay on the deck and keep an eye out. If they really come over, you need to be ready." Sean Knight left a message and dived into the water.
With the two boats now only several tens of meters apart, Sean Knight quickly reached the now slower moving motorboat.
Hearing the bustling sound on the ship, Sean Knight used his Sky Eye power to scan the boat, discovering that there were more than a dozen people on board, four of which were injured.
He quietly clung to the bottom of the motorboat’s engine room, took a time bomb out from the spatial realm and stuck it to the hull, then strung several hand grenades to it before diving into the water and swimming back to the yacht.
"Get away from here!" Sean Knight whispered. Immediately, the yacht sped away.
A few minutes later, there was a muffled "boom" as the motorboat seemingly got lifted from the water by an invisible hand before falling back in.
"It’s broken!"
Elijah Hastings, who had been watching the motorboat, suddenly shouted, "The boat is broken!"
"Let’s go," Sean Knight said.
Lincoln Harrington casually turned off the communication equipment.
Roughly ten nautical miles away, the yacht finally stopped, while the white belly of the fish was already visible in the eastern sky.
No one mentioned the motorboat incident as the group began to make breakfast together.
Several hours later, the yacht returned to its original position and found that there was nothing there.
"Today, we’ll start. Elijah Hastings and I will go down first to search," Sean Knight said. "Douglas, you guard the boat. If anyone comes, you know what to do."
After diving into the water, Sean Knight deliberately went around the location where the motorboat was yesterday and searched in the direction marked by Douglas Cooper.
The seawater was deep, and if it weren’t for Sean Knight’s Sky Eye, he wouldn’t want to come down here.
After all, it was uncomfortable in the deep sea where the sunlight could not penetrate.
Occasionally, fish swam by. Some, out of curiosity, moved closer to Sean Knight, but most kept their distance.
After searching underwater for half an hour, Sean Knight began feeling uncomfortable and slowly rose to the surface.
By the time they surfaced, the sun had already risen completely, and the temperature on the sea had increased, making it much warmer than underwater.
Sean swam back to the yacht, climbed onto the deck, took off his diving suit, and gasped:
"That’s really uncomfortable—diving in deep water is not easy."
"Yes," Douglas said, "When I was taking that video, I only dove for about ten minutes and then came up. It’s unbearable."
Sean was wondering if he needed to absorb more energy and then level up again. Would this improve his physical fitness?
Before Sean surfaced, Elijah was already on the deck.
Douglas couldn’t wait and went into the water.
Although he was relatively familiar with the area, after diving for more than ten minutes, Douglas didn’t find anything. The four of them rested on the yacht.
In the morning, a fishing boat approached. Douglas saw its number and said to Sean:
"I know the boss of this boat; he’s from a neighboring village."
As the boat approached, Douglas shouted from the deck:
"Boss Xie, Boss Xie, are you there?"
"Yes, yes, I’m here!" A middle-aged man named Edward Miller came out of the cabin, surprised and laughing:
"Douglas, you’re really something! Having such a luxurious yacht here as your playground?"
"My boss just came over, and I’m taking him around." Douglas explained, "Boss Xie, why are you fishing so far away?"
At this point, the two boats were almost side by side. Boss Xie approached the edge of his boat and whispered:
"Last night, a Japanese boat sank here, so I came over to check out the commotion... Don’t you know?"
"We just got here not long ago, we didn’t hear about it!"
"I thought you knew. They say that not a single person from the boat was saved—when nearby boats arrived, there was only debris left on the sea."
Sean and the others exchanged glances without speaking.
Douglas immediately asked:
"Do you know why it sank? There was no wind or wave last night!"
"Who cares! It sank, it sank. Maybe they didn’t pray to the Dragon King." Boss Xie’s face was filled with schadenfreude, "I just came to look, but it seems there’s nothing... What are you guys up to here?"
"Nothing much, we’re planning to change locations too." Douglas laughed.
"Alright, then you guys have fun. I’m leaving." Boss Xie sailed away.
As for this matter, the others didn’t say anything. After eating lunch and resting, Sean dived again.
With a larger search area, more resources could be found in the sea, but Sean still hadn’t seen the black object from Douglas’s video.
After getting back on the boat, Sean took out his mobile phone and watched the video again.
At this time, Douglas went into the water. He felt that he shouldn’t be unable to find it since he discovered this place first.
However, he didn’t come here very often since it was not near their village. Plus, the water was deep, and the object was relatively small, which made searching difficult.
And so the day passed.
As soon as the sky brightened on the second day, Sean dived again.
When he surfaced once again, disappointed, he was surprised to find that not far from the yacht, a marine police boat was approaching—it wasn’t Chinese.
Sean remembered that this sea area was disputed.
He dived down again, and when he surfaced, the marine police boat had already dispatched a small boat heading towards the yacht.
Sean got onto the deck first, removed his diving suit, and saw that Elijah and the others had a tense, serious look on their faces. He then said:
"Don’t look so tense. If they want us to leave, we’ll leave. A gentleman’s revenge is never too late!"
Unexpectedly, Sean said this. Everyone was stunned, then nodded in agreement without speaking.
As expected, the people who came told them to leave.
Sean and the others didn’t have much to say and started the yacht to leave.
About twenty minutes after they left, when they could hardly see the other side, Sean noticed some movement over there and laughed.
"Boss, did you have any tricks up your sleeve?" Elijah, who had been holding back, asked when he saw Sean laugh.
"I didn’t say anything." Sean laughed again and turned to go inside the yacht.
Elijah turned his head to look at the other side and was shocked to see black smoke rising!
