Chapter 1347: Chapter 662 Who Decides to Stay or Leave?_2
"We..." Seliman lowered his head again, "have nowhere to go..."
"You don’t have any other assets?" Sean Knight thought to himself, hoping he hadn’t brought along a group of useless people?
"We still have some," Seliman quickly looked up and said, "There are some properties around the world, but not enough to settle so many people."
"If your people are willing, they can live on the Big Island or on the nearby Small Island that is being newly constructed."
Because of this rescue mission, Sean Knight had pocketed several hundred million dollars’ worth of military arms and food, and thought it definitely wouldn’t be a problem to settle a hundred and eighty people.
"Of course, the island doesn’t support idlers. I can only provide houses at most; the rest have to fend for themselves," Sean Knight added.
"Thank you, thank you so much!" Seliman looked earnestly at Sean Knight, "If it hadn’t been for you, I don’t know where else my family could have found refuge..."
"It’s nothing, you’ve paid," Sean Knight felt a bit guilty under Seliman’s grateful gaze and awkwardly turned his head away, adding:
"Taking money to work is the natural order of things for me."
"Mr. Knight, rest assured, once my people are settled, I will repay you!" Seliman’s voice was pleasing, yet his words were resolute.
Sean Knight was silent.
The truck sped away, leaving Jakarta City for a nearby city.
This route had been planned in advance; there was a port there, and the ship was already docked.
At daybreak, the truck reached the port. There weren’t many people on the pier, yet quite a few were curious about the truck.
Elijah Hastings and others got off first, found the cruise ship they had contacted, and made preparations.
As the doors of the truck’s carriage compartment opened, two men lifted a wooden box out of the truck and walked toward the cruise ship on the pier.
They all wore uniform clothes, looking somewhat like shipping workers.
The boxes had already been prepared as a cover, actually empty inside; otherwise, these people, worn out from the ordeal, wouldn’t have been able to lift them.
During the time in the carriage compartment, they had eaten some food, drunk water, and replenished their energy. A short walk was still manageable.
From a distance, it looked like a typical scene of unloading a truck.
Nobody had any suspicions.
However, once the people and the boxes boarded the ship, they did not come back down.
Once the truck was empty, it drove away directly, and Sean Knight also on the parked yacht nearby, both vessels, one large and one small, set off simultaneously toward the Big Island.
From afar, Sean Knight could see Seliman persuading her people on the cruise ship.
Sean Knight knew that this capture of Seliman’s people was partly his fault and likely mostly due to the ongoing war.
It wasn’t largely related to Seliman.
He also believed that if these people cared to keep up with current affairs, they would understand that even without Seliman, these special groups, under those circumstances, were inevitably going to be targeted.
Thinking of those past incidents, Sean Knight was prompted and picked up the Walkie-Talkie, shouting:
"Elijah, get Seliman’s people to watch recent news. Let them see what those Jewish people have been up to lately!"
Just then, Sean Knight heard Seliman arguing with one of her people from afar.
Immediately, some action team members went over and pulled away Seliman’s family member, and then those still lingering on the deck were herded into the cabin.
"Received, boss," Elijah responded.
Sean Knight put down the Walkie-Talkie, knowing that for now, this matter was at rest. However, the Sharde family should have realized this by now, and the upcoming troubles were sure to be even greater.
He wasn’t afraid, but he would definitely keep a close watch on the Sharde family’s movements.
If worse came to worst, he could just dump those arms back where they originally were; he didn’t believe that turning others’ schemes against them couldn’t handle these bastards.
Of course, these were just initial thoughts, but as this idea emerged, Sean Knight suddenly felt, actually, it’s not too bad!
"Thank you!" A few minutes later, Seliman’s voice came through the Walkie-Talkie.
Sean Knight guessed that his decision had been effective.
Probably, Seliman’s family had learned about those people’s insane behaviors and had reconsidered why they were captured; it was likely manipulated.
"You’re welcome. Since you owe me quite a bit, we’ll settle it all at once," Sean Knight quipped.
"...Yes," was all Seliman replied before the line went silent.
Sean Knight grinned, as if a scoundrel and in that single response, he sensed a hint of shyness, haha!
The distance was not very far, but the cruise ship did not travel fast. After a day and a night, they arrived at the Big Island.
As they had been informed in advance, the two ships docked at a private pier.
The team members quickly covered the pier area, then a few electric buses drove up and transported these people directly to a temporary settlement.
"Over this day and night, we showed them seven or eight hours of news on how Israel dealt with those people. These people have quieted down a lot,"
At the port, Elijah reported to Sean Knight, "Except for a few elders, the others mostly resigned themselves. They know that even without Seliman, it was only a matter of time before their entire family would have been taken."
Lana Brown walked toward Sean Knight.
Sean Knight opened his arms, and Lana Brown, slightly coquettish, ultimately couldn’t resist the temptation and briskly walked to Sean Knight, embracing him tightly.
