Chapter 1150: Chapter 596 Don’t Say I’m Heartless and Ungrateful_2

Two female warriors even cast flirtatious glances at Sean Knight.

Unfortunately, due to the language barrier, they could not understand what Sean was saying.

Sean paid no attention to them and headed straight for the Divine Temple.

Some nearby buildings were on fire, and several injured people were being bandaged.

Sean thought for a moment and then stopped in his tracks.

The fire in the tribe had started because of him, so he pretended to take a first aid kit out of his backpack and began bandaging some of the injured.

While bandaging, he also used his energy to stabilize the condition of the injured.

An injured person, whose stomach was slashed open with intestines flowing out and bleeding profusely, moaned in pain. Sean looked at this person being held by their family and felt a sense of helplessness wash over him.

At that moment, Aiwa emerged from the Divine Temple. Seeing Sean busy at work, a trace of joy appeared on her face, but as she looked at the state of the tribe, her expression turned angry once again.

The tribal residents had their own methods of treating injuries, using herbal medicines to wrap the wounds. Sean, realizing he couldn’t help much, decided not to intervene.

Approaching Aiwa in front of the Temple, Sean had not spoken when Aiwa softly said,

"It’s my fault... I shouldn’t have sent people to follow you. Those warriors found my people..."

Sean suddenly realized why those warriors had come running over before he did.

"It’s okay," Sean patted her shoulder, "but now so many people have died..."

"Our opponents are not faring well either!" Aiwa wasn’t as sorrowful about the casualties as Sean had imagined. "This time you killed and wounded so many of their warriors, now their main force is almost wiped out. That tribe is no longer a match for us..."

Sean hadn’t expected Aiwa to have such a dominant spirit!

"Will you stay here?" Aiwa looked up at Sean.

"No," Sean shook his head, then glanced at the tribal residents who were busy below and said, "Let’s take care of the wounded first."

Aiwa nodded and joined in the healing efforts.

Sean discovered in surprise that Aiwa did not use the Sacred Tree’s branches and leaves to treat the wounded. When he asked her about it, Aiwa naturally replied,

"The Sacred Tree is for the Priest’s use. Ordinary people are not allowed to use it..."

Well, even here there was a hierarchy!

Sean stopped talking, instead teaching Aiwa and a few tribal residents how to use the first aid kit.

During the treatment of the wounded, the returning warriors came in droves, many of them carrying the weapons and skulls of their defeated enemies.

It seemed they had indeed achieved a great victory.

"We won!" Aiwa became excited, "From now on, this place will be ours!"

Sean didn’t join in the conversation, feeling that such mutual destruction didn’t align with his values.

Maybe that’s just how tribal warfare in the jungle is. If you defeat your opponent, then you win!

They worked until nearly nightfall before all the wounded were taken care of.

The deceased were piled on the wood, and Aiwa personally lit the flames and conducted a ceremony.

Was this more environmentally friendly?

Sean watched all this, wondering to himself.

After the ceremony, the residents went back to rest, and Aiwa, holding Sean’s hand, led him to the Divine Temple.

Sitting in front of the wooden bed, Sean asked,

"What do you plan to do next?"

"First, we have to heal the wounded, then send out warriors to check on that tribe’s condition—actually, our tribe has always had a wish, which is to occupy their tribe and move there—that was once our home!"

Well, these tribal residents were quite attached to their "homeland."

"Can you stay and help me?" Having been intimate, Aiwa no longer treated Sean as a stranger. She wrapped her hands around Sean’s neck, "If you stay, you will be the king in our tribe..."

Sean shook his head and said,

"I wouldn’t fit in with life here. I was actually hoping to persuade you to leave this place and live outside. I could settle you all down somewhere more convenient than it was when you left. Life here must be pretty inconvenient..."

Aiwa let go of her hands, her face showing a hint of disappointment before easing up again,

"No, we can only live in the jungle. This is our home; we won’t abandon her and leave."

"Then..." Sean thought for a moment and said, "I’ll leave you a supply of food..."

"Your weapons, guns, bombs, can you leave them behind?" Aiwa asked, looking at the gun placed beside Sean, "We can trade items for them."

"Sure," Sean hadn’t expected Aiwa to set her sights on those. He replied, "It’s easy to use, easy to operate, but once the bullets are gone, that’s it."

"As long as it can help us take over that tribe, even if we run out of bullets later, we won’t be afraid anymore." Aiwa, having seen guns in the real world, knew of their power and specific details.

"Then give me that Sacred Tree," Sean finally revealed his intentions.

Aiwa’s eyes roamed, and she didn’t speak immediately.

After a while, she finally said,

"Just leaving the gun won’t be enough."

Sean smiled and replied,

"I have a backpack in the jungle, several guns, and bombs, enough for you to conquer that tribe."

"Then, it’s a deal." Aiwa extended her hand. "But I won’t help you take the Sacred Tree out. You’ll have to figure that out on your own."
