Liang Tao shuddered from the gaze. "Run!" He yelled.

Xian Mei didn’t need encouragement. With how easily the new creature defeated the Jue Ape, she knew this spirit beast was not something they could go up against. She turned and ran to where she entered from.

Liang Tao was faster. He rushed past Xian Mei, heading to the same exit.

"Don’t leave me!" Xian Mei called in a panic.

Liang Tao didn’t respond, nor did he slow down. In an emergency, it was every man for himself. Xian Mei might be his superior in the academy’s faction, but that meant nothing now when his life was on the line. Their relationship was based on benefits. Their bond was not deep enough for him to risk his life for her.

When he was about to reach the exit, something flew past him. This something was a large boulder that crashed into the ceiling above the exit. The impact caused the ceiling to collapse. The fallen debris blocked the exit.

With this exit no longer passable, Liang Tao looked around to locate another exit. He immediately ran in that direction once he located one, but the Jue Ogre had already come next to him.

Liang Tao was taken aback. Xian Mei was behind him. He thought the Jue Ogre would go to her first since she was closer. It turned out that was not the case. The boulder that caused the ceiling to collapse was thrown by the Jue Ogre to stop him from escaping. The Jue Ogre was targeting him from the start.

With how fast he was, he had trouble changing direction abruptly. The Jue Ogre was too close already, so he resorted to sending his strongest kick at the Jue Ogre’s head. His kick was so powerful it caused a turbulence of winds. Yet, when it slammed into the Jue Ogre’s head, the Jue Ogre didn’t even budge. He felt as if he had kicked a solid iron pillar. He realized then it was folly to attack the Jue Ogre. He hurriedly jumped away. But before he got far, his leg was caught by the Jue Ogre’s long arm.

"No...," He uttered. He couldn’t say any more words because he lost all sense of balance as the Jue Ogre yanked his leg. Before he knew it, his face slammed into a nearby boulder.

With another swift swing, the Jue Ogre slammed Liang Tao into the ground. It swung again and slammed the senior student to another rock, and again, and again. Each slam left a smear of blood at the point of impact. The subsequent slams produced ever larger smears.

By the time the Jue Ogre stopped swinging, Liang Tao was no longer moving. His face, or his head for that matter, was no longer recognizable. It was a block of mess that oozed blood.

Xian Mei couldn’t move from all that display. She was horrified to the point where she couldn’t think straight. It was not until the Jue Ogre turned to her that she finally forced herself to move again. She ran as the Jue Ogre charged at her.

"No! Get away from me! Get away from me...!!" She screamed while running.

Her mind was filled with fear. She didn’t run with a clear direction. Instead of running to an exit, she found her path forward blocked by a wall. When she was about to run back, the Jue Ogre was already blocking her way.

"Get away from me...!!!" She shrieked hysterically. She swung the saber in her hand without a thought.

The saber struck the Jue Ogre, but it couldn’t cut through the Jue Ogre’s tough skin. The Jue Ogre used its bare hand to grip the saber. It then squeezed. The saber was shattered to pieces.

Xian Mei tried to escape, but one shove from the Jue Ogre slammed her into the wall behind. She lost all air and was dizzy for a second. In that second she lost, the Jue Ogre grabbed her neck. She tried to break free, but the Jue Ogre’s fingers were like steel clamps. Its strength was simply overwhelming.

She tried kicking and punching the Jue Ogre. She even used her arcane and martial arts, but they had no effect. The Jue Ogre snickered at her struggle. It gave her one vicious slap. Another dizziness assailed her. The wooden skin protecting her did nothing to mitigate the damage. Her struggle stopped as blood flowed from her mouth.

She was then slammed onto the ground. Her clothes were ripped off savagely, revealing the woman’s naked body. When her dizziness subsided, she watched in horror as the ogre took off its loincloth. The skin at its loin split, revealing an enormous manhood that was slowly becoming stiff.

Xian Mei continued pleading for Amon to save her, but Amon didn’t budge from his hiding.

He was using this power because he only had one chance. He didn’t want to risk it using a half-hearted attack. Additionally, no one was here to witness him using infernal energy.
