REINCARNATION OF THE STRONGEST WAR HERO
Chapter 133: THE WRONG OPPONENT

Chapter 133: THE WRONG OPPONENT

Ali Arkman, one of the three S-class hunters in Arcadia. In every hunter test he would come and wait until the final applicant completes his or her test.

But not because he was interested in their matches. Not because as the guild master he had to be present either. But because he was waiting. Waiting for more S-class hunters to emerge.

With only him and Noah now as active S-class hunters, it was growing difficult with each passing day to conquer dungeons. Danger was always lurking behind these unknown origins. Anytime a higher level dungeon break might occur. And that would be the end of humanity. At least in Arcadia.

Today wasn’t any different either. From the moment, the test started, he had been waiting. But none marched toward him to challenge. Still he didn’t lose hope.

One after another, applicants continued with their test. Ali waited among them.

Then Elizabeth announced, "Token 171. Aiden Ferith."

Under many people’s watchful eyes Logan stood up from his seat and strode toward the arena. As expected, he strode toward the examiners in the distance. A D-class at the right and C-class at the left.

Logan’s Tier was still at level 1. Others speculated it as well.

"Let’s see how he does against Neil." Damian murmured. He was also present in the gallery. He hadn’t forgotten about how Logan didn’t give him a damn. So he was waiting to enjoy the match. The moment when Logan would lose pathetically.

And Neil was the bulky hunter at far right, the D-class hunter.

Just when everyone thought the duel was about to start soon, Logan suddenly changed his direction. Instead of going toward Neil, he strode toward the tall woman. The C-class hunter.

"What in the hell?! Has he gone nuts? Or he didn’t understand what’s going on?" Someone asked from the gallery. And this feeling and doubt was shared by all.

Even Ali narrowed his eyes slightly.

Finally not being able to control anymore, Elizabeth’s voice echoed. "Aiden. Maybe you didn’t understand my instructions earlier. I clearly said Tier 1 and Tier 2 will face the D-class hunter. You are Tier 1, right?"

Logan who was marching toward the tall woman finally stopped in his tracks and turned his head toward Elizabeth. "I am." His reply came.

"Then why are you going in the wrong direction. Your examiner will be Neil, the hunter standing at your right. Not the one you are marching toward." Elizabeth was a bit irritated. There would always be some proud noble heirs who think they are above all and act arrogantly. Elizabeth thought Logan was one of them.

"Well, I want to take the test for class-C." Logan’s voice echoed through out the arena.

Bwahahahaha! Damian burst into laughter. "So it’s just as I thought. He’s only a big mouth. He thinks he can face off against a C-class hunter being only a Tier 1 mage." He sneered.

Almost everyone had the same thought.

"Kids these days." Ali whispered with a sigh from his position.

"That’s not possible. With Tier 1, you can only become F-class hunter. E-class at best under special considerations." Elizabeth finally blurted out loudly. She seemed annoyed.

Logan thought for a bit before voicing out again. "Not even if I win against the C-class hunter?" He asked.

Roar of murmurs erupted through out the entire arena. All were shocked by Logan’s claim. Some were even enraged.

"What the f**k man. Who the hell the punk think he is? Hero of a mythical story?"

His group couldn’t control their laughter.

Gideon was also present. Even he felt that Logan’s claims were too presumptuous.

"Kid, if you are trying to pull a prank, you are in the wrong place. I suggest you leave and don’t waste our time." This time Elizabeth totally lashed out. Her calm, attractive and ladylike demeanour crumbled because of Logan’s continuous unbearable attitude.

"Booooo." Many were mocking Logan from the gallery.

"Get the hell out of here, brat." Some were angry due to the pause of the test.

"You sho..." Elizabeth wanted to say more but suddenly someone’s voice stopped her. "Let the boy fight Medona."

It was Ali who spoke just now. And by Medona he meant the tall woman, C-class hunter.

Elizabeth didn’t dare express her dissatisfaction any more.

"Go ahead." She just let out those two words.

Others in the gallery quieted down as well.

Sitting beside Leonard, Lucas let out a chuckle. "That kid seems interesting. He said.

"Interesting?! I think he’s just a fool." Leonard sneered.

Under all the stares, Logan strode toward Medona in unhurried steps and stopped 10 meters before her.

"Attack whenever you are ready." Medona didn’t even bother to put up her guard. To her, Logan was just a kid, blinded by pride who had no real world experience.

Only if she knew what was coming.

Logan leaned forward bending his knees a bit. "Thank you for your kind gesture." Logan said. "I just hope you don’t regret it." With that he lunged at Medona. The ground beneath him cracked a little.

And before Medona could even react, Logan was already in front of her, only a hair’s breadth away."

Medona’s eyes widened. So did the others’. She somehow conjured a Ice wall in front of her. Just from the speed, she could tell that the power behind the attack wouldn’t be any less impressive than the speed.

Logan’s palm with a tiny fireball slammed in the ice wall. It shattered like a glass. And the impact with the fireball’s remaining strength sent Medona flying backward.

The whole arena was shocked beyond words. Nobody moved. Neither Ali, nor Elizabeth. All had their eyes locked on the arena, and brain trying to process, what just actually happened.

Medona crashed in the ground and bounced once. It didn’t take her long to stand back up. But her left hand was clutched in her ribs where the attack had landed. She was shocked.

And so was Ali. "That speed and sheer strength. Remarkable!"
