"Sir, What kind of room do you want?" A beautiful woman asked; she was also a waitress, Lexus could guess by her attire.

"Well, here’s all my money; I need three rooms," Lexus said while slamming his pouch, which has around 17 gold coins, on the table.

"That’s very generous of you. Our most luxurious room costs 4 Kolar gold with food, as Kolar Gold Mines have very pure gold, the waitress said with a smile while grabbing the coins.

"Sir, with this you can stay in three of our mid-range bedrooms for 3 days and four nights," the waitress said, then pulled out a register.

"How about the luxurious rooms? I want them," Lexus said, as he wanted to stay in the luxurious place after such a tiring journey.

"Sir, I am very sorry; we have two normal rooms available. As the Ancient Court’s Assessment is near, every lodge and inn is almost full in these parts," the waitress said after checking the register.

"Oh? Ancient Court is recruiting? " Lexus immediately became interested in the topic.

The room was very normal, but there was some heat inside and a small bathroom.

Lexus locked the door and took a bath, then slept naked on the soft bed. He slept so peacefully that he woke up directly the next day; his fatigue was gone, and he felt extremely relaxed and comfortable.

Lexus knocked on the door of Isabella and Ning Ning; they didn’t respond, so he went downstairs and sat in the restaurant.

Lexus filled his belly with warm food and drank a jug of water, then he made a plan while drinking tea.

He is going to buy a small house and then buy some slaves to protect Ning Ning while Isabella and he are gone.

As he planned, he called out to the waiter for the bill; hearing it was only 80 silver coins, Lexus gave him a whole gold coin and then asked about the slave market.

"This barony has an official slave market just beside the narrow canal; there are many shops there to buy slaves from."

Hearing that from the waiter’s mouth, Lexus stood up and left the inn to get some slaves first; he could buy a plot or rent it later.

The weather was nice, so he walked around looking this and that until he saw the narrow canal, which was really very narrow.

"I’ll take this lady butler and three lady waitresses," Lexus said directly, although they don’t look good, but their stats were good; the butler was level 59, and the three waitresses were 30, 34, and 43.

"I’ll give you thirty-five," Lexus said; he wanted to haggle with people to learn how it’s done.

Done." " The fat man instantly agreed, as he was having a whopping 10 gold profit with this deal.

Lexus buying the slave got some contract papers from the buyer and documents, and then Lexus visited every other shop in the vicinity.

At the last shop, as Lexus was losing hope to find a proper female guard, he saw a woman; she didn’t have emotions in her eyes and was around forty years old.
