It’s been six months since that Bandit Town incident. Lexus and Isabella were seated beside a campfire when a very beautiful white-haired girl came out from the nearby. By jungle, she was almost as tall as Isabella and was holding a dead rabbit in her hand and a small dagger.

"I got it," she said without any emotions in her voice to Lexus; she was the little girl Lexus purchased from the auction house. In these past six months, she ate the whole ration Lexus stole from the bandits and grew taller; she could somewhat talk now.

"Well done, give it here; I’ll cook it for you," Lexus said with a smile; he was feeling like a proud father who raised a well-accomplished daughter.

"Don’t spoil her; she can cook it herself," Isabella said. She was just seated beside the fire, as it was still a little bit cold.

"Ning Ning Doesn’t Want to Cook" Ning Ning, saying this, came in front of Lexus and gave him the rabbit.

Lexus chuckled, then looked at the angry Isabella. Shaking his head, he skinned the rabbit and used some leftover salt and spices to marinate the thing, then pierced it with a small rod, which Ning Ning brought from somewhere.

Ning Ning then sat beside Lexus and looked at the rabbit with water in her mouth.

"Alright, It’s done, but first, what do you have to do?" Lexus said to Ning Ning, who was about to jump on the rabbit.

"Hand wash?" Ning Ning questioned him back.

"Yes, good girl, go wash your hands before eating," Lexus said with a smile. Ning Ning happily walked to the carriage to wash her hands.

"You’re spoiling her too much. After we reach the central region, what will happen to her?" Isabella asked as they were about to attend the assessment for the court, and Ning Ning was an immortal, so she didn’t know what to expect.

"Well, let’s see what we can do for her. We’ve many things to do in the Central Region, and this huge stagecoach is going to slow us down," Lexus said while pondering what to do.

After finishing the food and taking a rest, they resumed their journey. As they were reaching the central region, the cold that was making them shiver at night was decreasing dramatically.

As Lexus was driving the stagecoach, he soon saw a huge gate appearing on the horizon. Seeing it, he felt good because it’s been a while since he saw something related to civilization.

The more they approached the gate, the more imposing it became. The gate looked majestic. Lexus then saw that there was no one at the gate, no line whatsoever, so he smoothly went towards it.

"Hold." A guard came in; he was alone and looked at Lexus with suspicion.

"Who are you?" The guard asked the Lexus driver, who was driving a huge stagecoach.

"I am from the Northern Region. My name is Will Smith. There are two of my female companions inside the carriage, and we come in peace," Lexus smilingly lied about his identity.

"Cut the crap; Northerners can enter the city, but 2 gold each," the guard scratched his ear and said.

"2?" Lexus asked, as it was very low.

"Alright, 5 gold for the whole group of three." The guard instantly gave a discount to Lexus after seeing Lexus hesitating a little.

"Alright here," Lexus didn’t bother with so. Gold, as he has so much gold in his ring, he gave the guard 5 gold from his new pouch, which has 20 gold in it.

"Enter. Remember, this is a barony; abide by the law, otherwise your head will roll." The guard gave Lexus a warning, and without checking the cart, he let them enter.

Entering the town, Lexus saw people here are a bit different-looking than people in the northern region; they are more muscular, and even women look huge and buffed.

"Let’s go to an inn; don’t cause trouble or go anywhere until we know about Ancient Court," Isabella strictly said to Lexus, who always does whatever he pleases.

"Yes, ma’am." Lexus readily agreed, as his body was tired from this long journey, and sleeping for 3-4 days in a good inn would be perfect.

Lexus then saw the architecture of this central region was different as well; the whole culture was very different from what he had seen in the north.

"Central Region is very big, but there’s only two empires here," Isabella said while she was still in the carriage, but she was looking outside, and while traveling with Lexus this long, she got a bit of a weird habit of talking with Lexus like this.

"Oh? Only two? " Lexus asked, as he was very shocked.

"Both of them are super empires; some of them are more powerful than the whole Northern Region," Isabella said. She studied the book Princess Annabelle gifted them, although it was less than fifty, but in these past months she got something to entertain herself.

"This looks fancy." Lexus stopped the stagecoach in front of an inn, which was named ’Noodles Inn.’

"This looks very expensive," Isabella said while looking out of the carriage.

The noodle inn was only three stories tall, but it was very big and was made with bricks, which was a luxurious item.

"Let’s go. We’ve money anyway; we could just take some proper rest and get information," Lexus said with a smile.

"Alright, let’s go." Isabella nodded her head and then came down with Ning Ning.

Lexus also got down from the stagecoach and approached the door of the inn.

"Sir, the stagecoach parking is behind the inn. May I take it to the back? I’ll charge only one gold." A person came with a smile on his face and offered help.

Lexus nodded his head, then gave him a gold coin and entered the inn. Was more modern than it looked from outside; the whole inn was heated, and people were wearing very open clothes inside the inn.

Lexus went to the reception desk to check in.
