"This is Kolar, our capital city. This here, the biggest fortress, is where the eldest prince, Alex, stays. He has a level-800 knight under his command, and you’ll find him here whoring and drinking," Annabelle said while pointing at a fortress on the map.

"So, I’ll just have assassinate both of them, right?" Lexus asked because if there’s a son of the prince, he wouldn’t be killing a baby.

"Yes, just the two of them. Then look here; this small fortress is where the young prince stays mostly. He is now maybe around the place where you gave justice to the local bully and is investigating there, so it would be wise to wait until he returns to the fortress," Annabelle said while looking into Lexus’s eyes.

Lexus was nonchalant about it because he was now very powerful, and he’d just clap those bodyguards and prince; he was worried about innocent people getting killed in the process.

"I am just suggesting you make your own plan and execute it; just inform me in advance when you’re about to be done; I’ll create a chaos so big that you can exit smoothly," Annabelle said with a confident tone.

"Well, does an elephant need a plan before crushing an ant?, It’ll take 20 minutes maximum to kill those morons, so whatever you want to do, you better start it," Lexus said with a light chuckle.

"Oh? Alright, Take this; this is a red flare. After you’re done, just pop it and throw it in the sky." Annabelle raised an eyebrow; her face looked like she was intrigued, then gave Lexus a small red-colored box.

Lexus took the box and then nodded his head in acknowledgment.

"Alright, Sire Arthur, please prepare for ’that.’ I am confident in our new friend Lexus that he can do it; if he really pulls this through, we have to complete our end of the bargain," Annabelle smilingly said to the knight.

"B...but Princess, assassinating the Emperor right after the Princes were killed will put you on the suspicion," Arthur Fury said in a hurry.

"Don’t worry about it, Grand General is on our side, just follow the plan; as soon as you see that red flare, kill my father," Annabelle said without any emotions on her face; she was writing a death sentence for an emperor without even blinking her eyes.

"You’re one ruthless woman. I pity those who have you as their enemy. I’ll be going now. Don’t forget your promise," Lexus said, then slowly walked off the underground hall.

After Lexus left, the trio was looking at each other; Annabelle had a cheeky smile on her face, Arthur was sweating bullets, and the assassin-looking guy looked firm and determined.

"Ezio, you know what to do. Be a shadow and follow Sire Arthur to the palace and end his majesty the emperor. I’ll be in the small castle in the north," Annabelle said smilingly. If her unexpected friend suddenly does what he has promised, then her path to power was just skipped some grueling years.

"B...but your Highness, Are you certain that boy could do it?" Arthur asked; he was actually becoming a companion of an ’usurper.’.

"Yes, I am quite certain in his promise, but let me ask you this: if you face him head-on, do you think you’ll survive?" Annabelle asked while she walked back towards a door that looked almost new.

"N...no, Your Highness, I don’t think I’ll be able to handle his second strike; my sword was shaking. That boy is a great swordsman,regretfully better than me" Arthur said truthfully and followed behind Annabelle.

Ezio, on the other hand, vanished from where he stood, but Arthur and Annabelle didn’t care about it.

"We’re skipping some hard years, Sire. Be sure to give him more than promised and always be on his list of friends. Powerful friends are hard to come by," Annabelle said with a chuckle; her intelligent eyes were darting around as if thinking of her next moves.

"Yes, Your Highness," Arthur replied, but there was still a little bit of reluctance in his voice.
