Chapter 41: Searching for The Stage Coach.

Chapter 41: Searching for The Stage Coach.

"Who’s this boy?" An old man who was wearing comfortable-looking clothes asked.

"S...sir, You’re here? " The old receptionist got up from panic.

He never thought this young man would follow him to his friend’s house.

"Yeah, sir, my ass. Where’s my carriage?" Lexus directly asked, then slowly walked towards the old man’s.

"S...sir, I can explain. Your carriage is still safe." The receptionist stammered while talking; his hands were shaking with nervousness.

"What do you mean by still safe? Where is it?" Lexus asked, then smiled coldly at the receptionist.

"I...I sold it." The receptionist finally confessed his crime.

"Well, I know that much. Do you think I am here just to ask you about that pathetic carriage? Ahaha, look at your face," Lexus laughed, then grabbed a chair nearby and, with a swift motion, sat beside the receptionist.

"Alright, see this?" Lexus smilingly said, then showed everyone in the room his index finger.

Everyone looked toward his index finger, which seemed normal at first. Then, a thin, black beam of energy emerged from it. Slowly, he guided the beam toward the receptionist’s knee, and with smooth precision, it cleanly separated the knee from the leg and body.

*Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!*

A huge amount of blood gushed out of the freshly separated wound; the whole floor became red with blood.

"That’s the correct response. All right, this is a robbery. Whoever thinks he’s a hero can try me. Put everything you’ve got on the table now," Lexus said while showing his index fingers towards the old man’s.

Every one of them gulped; the rain was too heavy and noisy, so even if they screamed, it was useless in this alleyway.

Everyone pulled out gold coins and silvers they had and put them on the table; Lexus grabbed them and stored them inside the purple ring he has.

"Alright, now then, Mr. Receptionist, do I kill you or are you going to tell me about that fucking carriage?" Lexus said angrily; he was actually quite upset about being robbed and getting blamed time and time again.

"Ah!!! My leg, my leg!! You monster!!" The old receptionist was yelling with pain and looked quite angry.

"Alright, you, who are you to him?" Lexus pointed at an old man who was sitting across from him at the table.

"M...me? Friend? " The old man who suddenly got involved in such a bloody matter felt lightheaded.

"Well then, Mr. Friend, this receptionist has some family, right?" Lexus smilingly asked; the old man, seeing the devilish smile, peed his pants.

"Y...yes, just go north from here and you’ll find a White Judge Temple; his home is just behind it, and he has a beautiful daughter." Mr. Friend, in his desperation, just spewed out information like a madman.

"Oh? Beautiful daughter? Hmmm, Receptionist, you know what will happen if you still don’t talk.

Lexus’s smile was getting creepier and creepier; the whole table of old men was trembling.

"That carriage is gone. You can’t get it anymore. I’ll give you an address; go take the new one." The receptionist, gritting his teeth, said he was coping with the pain his leg was feeling; his vision was also getting blurry.

"What do you mean by I can’t get my own carriage? Where the fuck is it?" Lexus asked with an intrigued look on his face.

"Nor... northern bandits have bought it from me. They’re a thousand-man strong bandit gang, so don’t go there. For my daughter, I’ll give you the best carriage in the whole Empire." The receptionist said this and gestured to one of the old men with his fingers; his hands were barely working.

The old man who got the gesture immediately came closer to hear what the receptionist, his old friend, has to say.

"F... Frank has a stagecoach. Show him the direction; he’s powerful enough to get it." Receptionist barely whispered this and fell unconscious.

"Well, well, you old fucks, grab him and take him to a hospital. You stay." Lexus released the other two old men, keeping only the one who knew Frank’s location behind.

The two old men, hearing they could go, grabbed the unconscious receptionist and left the house as soon as possible without giving their friend, who was staying back, a glance.

"Well then, old man, who’s Frank? Where is he? I am in a hurry, so it would be wise for you to tell me while we move towards there," Lexus said to the old man.

The old man, hearing this, nodded his head, then ran inside and grabbed two pairs of bulky red-colored jackets.

"Here, it’s for you. I am going to help you, but you have to keep me alive." The old man said he was not that scared anymore and was behaving normally all of a sudden.

Lexus grabbed the red jacket and went out with the old man; the rain was still heavy, and the night was just going darker and darker.

"Frank is an Imperial thief. He steals for the Imperial family. Frank particularly helps out the eldest princess in thieving from commoners or nobles alike," the old man said while he was walking as fast as he could.

"Oh? There exists such a thing? Why are you not scared of me anymore?" Lexus asked the old man, who looked like he was not scared anymore of Lexus and was helping him out.

"I was a lower nobility before inside the Empire, so I know a thing or two. You don’t look like a killer, and when you let them go, I was certain about it, although you’re ruthless," the old man said while he chuckled a little.

Lexus just smiled while following the old man; the street they were taking was 2 meters wide, and some people were running and some were slowly going around like them.

"My name is Ruben Blades. Blades was a given name to my ancestor from the emperor a few hundred years ago because my ancestors used to be great with swords," Ruben, the old man, said while they reached a villa-looking house.

"Well, then this is it. Inside there you’ll find Frank; he recently stole a stagecoach from a nearby noble, so you may do the justice and take it back," Ruben said smilingly.

"So a stagecoach, huh?" Lexus said with a smile and then looked back at Ruben, who was also smiling.

"If you tell anyone, expect a visit from me deep at night," Lexus said, then jumped across the fence.

The villa was protected by a steel fence; Lexus, crossing the fence, walked towards the villa, which looked dark and horrifying.

The villa’s left side was burned as if great fire had melted the stone walls; Lexus increased his speed because Isabella and Little Girl were waiting for him in a tavern.

"Fuck... I should just kill this fucker right away," Lexus murmured, then entered the villa.

The villa was very quiet; Lexus could hear raindrops from outside, and then he heard some noises from inside the villa.

Lexus smiled and followed the voices, and soon he came across a staircase that was leading downstairs.

Lexus sighed!! Then he went downstairs; he heard three people talking with each other, and he was getting closer to them.

Soon Lexus saw a huge door almost two stories high; Lexus pushed it open. Lexus, after leveling up, was rarely scared of anyone now.

Inside the huge door was an enormous hall; three people were standing in the middle of a huge pile of stuff that reached the ceiling.
