"Lexus?" Isabella’s voice came from inside the room she was staying in.

"Yes, it’s me; I bring food," Lexus said casually. He was in no hurry to scare the girls; he could do that after eating dinner.

Isabella opened the door and shut it tightly once Lexus went inside. The little girl also woke up from her sleep and looked at Lexus without any expression on her face.

"Hey there, did you wake up? Let’s eat the hot food first," Lexus said smilingly towards the little girl, then gestured for Isabella to prepare the dishes.

Isabella, nodding her head, pulled out some chopsticks and plates from the nearby rack. The luxurious room contained many things; this was the perk of paying more.

"I am immortal?" Lexus suddenly heard a very beautiful voice coming from the little girl; she was as if questioning what was about to happen.

"Yeah, so you really can’t talk. Let me tell you we’re eating, E-A-T-I-N-G." Lexus smilingly and slowly said while showing her eating gesture as if she was deaf as well.

"She can hear you," Isabella said, and then she sat down at the table and gestured for them to come.

Lexus nodded before lifting the little girl and gently placing her in the wooden chair beside Isabella.

"Feed her; I don’t think she can eat on her own," Lexus said, then sat down and gulped down the chicken soup, which has quite a huge amount of meat in it.

"Sigh! I hope we don’t regret it later." Isabella, saying this, started feeding the little girl; it didn’t take long for the little girl to finish up two people’s worth of food.

"She can eat alright," Isabella said, and then she grabbed her bowl of food and ate.

They ate quietly. Lexus finished his food and looked outside to see if anything was happening, and sure enough, there were soldiers gathering nearby.

Lexus then looked at the weather. The weather was cold, and it was raining; even when people were talking, smoke was coming out with it.

"Hmm, I have to kill at least 5 to get out of here or pull that stunt and the more we delay, the more people will be killed for nothing," Lexus murmured, while in his background Isabella was picking up plates and Little Girl was just sitting quietly in a corner of the bed.

"A MANIAC HAS ENTERED THE LODGE AND BURSTED SOMEONE’S HEAD"

A loud yell was heard from the corridor. In front of Isabella’s room, it went from left to right while yelling.

"Maniac? Bursting head? " Isabella, who was picking up the plates, hearing this tilted her head first to contemplate the information, and then she looked directly at Lexus for some reason.

"What?" Lexus asked with a bewildered expression.

"No, you didn’t, did you?" Isabella asked with her eyes narrowing down with suspicion.

"Well, do I look like a maniac to you?" Lexus asked while he shrugged his shoulders.

"Oh Lexus, why? How? What am I going to do with you?" Isabella felt frustration and helplessness.

"Well, he was bullying me. Alright, let’s go. We leave from the front gate. I just saw there’s not that much security at the front gate. They are security mostly at the gate in the back," Lexus said, and then he grabbed the little girl’s hand and gestured for her to jump down from the bed.

"We run R-U-N," Lexus said it slowly while showing her how to run.

"I said she can hear and understand us," Isabella said with a frustrated tone, and then she grabbed some bulky black clothes and gave Lexus one, and she helped the little girl dress in a bulky black jacket.

Lexus, taking the jacket, wore it instantly because they’re going on a long ride once again, and it was cold as fuck outside.

After three of them wore the bulky black jackets, Isabella nodded her head as if prepared to face the enemies.

"Let’s go." Lexus also nodded his head and exited the room first, followed by Isabella, who was holding the little girl’s hand.

The little girl was quietly following the duo as they passed by a few strangers. Lexus was going ahead and was alert because even though they couldn’t hurt him because he was powerful, Isabella and the little girl could be targeted as well.

They took the stairs and directly went downstairs; the reception was still empty, and Lexus, seeing this, sneered and grabbed the locked drawer.

"Go ahead, I am the suspect, so they won’t hurt you or know you’re with me. Go right and wait for me at the end of that road; there’s a tavern there you can take shelter inside as well," Lexus said to Isabella, who nodded her head in response and left with the little girl.

Lexus grabbing the locked drawer broke its lock; then he saw 5 gold coins inside; he swiftly pulled the coins inside his pocket and then left the hotel.

Outside the hotel, the situation was tense; the Imperial Guards had been summoned, and there was a Red Alert in the whole area.

"I heard there’s a prince coming to bring justice."

"Justice, my ass; they just want the throne, now that the emperor is old."

"So it’s a showdown between the Prince? Was anyone killed then?"

"Well, I am not sure."

Lexus, as soon as he left the hotel through the front door, heard such rumors, which made him chuckle a little and the raindrops were getting heavier.

"Hey!! You! You match the description. Come here." There was a team of three Imperial Guards standing near the Lodge’s entrance; they were taking shelter from the rain just across the Lodge’s door in a small shop that has an extended roof.

Lexus smiled at them and nodded his head politely, then walked slowly towards them. As he was about to cross the ankle-high, water-filled road, a carriage passed right in front of him.

After the carriage passed by Lexus, he had vanished into thin air, the three guards looked at each other with disbelief, and then one of them pulled out a steel whistle and blew it loudly.

Lexus was holding on to the carriage side ways he smiled at hearing the whistle, then he let go of the carriage near an alleyway and jumped down.

"O Receptionist, Where are you? " Lexus asked in a very quiet tone, At the end of the alleyway there’s a small house.

Seeing the house, Lexus smiled because he heard that treacherous receptionist’s voice from here.

Lexus advanced at a leisurely pace, he slowly removed the bulky black jacket and threw it in a gutter. After leveling up, he could hardly feel any cold, so he didn’t need a jacket, which was already marked by the imperial guards.

Lexus slowly approached the house; he could hear four people inside the house; all of them were males, and every one of them was breathing slowly, which meant every one of them was older individuals.

"Today is not my day, chaaah!!"

"Come on, pick up the cards; we can go one more round."

"Hey Richard, you have money, right?"

"Of course, here are 20 gold coins at stake."

Lexus raised an eyebrow with amusement because the last line was said by none other than the old receptionist, and he was playing big tonight.

"What’s up, bitches?" Lexus slowly opened the door, which made loud noises because the wood was too old, and entered the house with a big smile on his face.
