Jia Yan watched as the boy brought in some tech gadgets he himself didn’t understand. The boy would sometimes wear a device, hover in mid-air, shout out loud, along with charging moves, until he was soaking in sweat. Then he would stop and switch games.

However, through his talks, Jia Yan learned some language skills.

The biggest gain was when one day this young man brought a book into Big Mosquito’s hall and even had the habit of reading it out loud.

Jia Yan’s eyes shimmered and he immediately studied the book the boy left behind that night!

Although it was a nonsensical novel, he had already learned a fair bit of the language during the day. After decoding, he could guess most of the content!

He finally felt ready to start communication!

The day on this planet was a bit longer than on Earth, equating to about more than two Earth days.

A few days passed, approximately a week on Earth.

On the first day, Jia Yan found that the young man placed a magical object next to him.

The item was a fan-like object, but when it was turned on, a faint flow of energy heat would emanate from it.

At first, Jia Yan didn’t understand how it worked until he saw the young man reluctantly block his body in front of Jia Yan’s and he himself absorbed the stuff. Jia Yan was then able to feel some part of this substance being absorbed by his body...

"The energy of us Tantalum People is very limited, I only enjoy it once a month. Just one time can replenish our energy for several days. We can even skip meals. If it weren’t for the elders, I wouldn’t be willing to let you use it!" Tang Eltangz said indignantly.

But Jia Yan ignored his words.

His shimmering compound eyes fixed on the energy device.

So, that’s how the aliens here get their energy?

Apparently, they also ate, from the way Tang Eltangz spoke, it seems they resort to eating because they lack sufficient energy for daily use and cannot solely depend on these sources of energy?

When Tang Eltangz turned on the device the next time, Jia Yan learned the method.

He released his Brainwave Power, causing all the ’energy material’ floating in the air to attach to his body surface...

Then he turned on a power inside his body that devoured them all!

This method of using energy was incredibly efficient!

But the energy was just a little too scarce!

Jia Yan luxuriated in the released energy and was oblivious that his actions had alarmed Tang Eltangz who was now staring at him fearfully!

It was not surprising that Jia Yan could devour all the jetted energy in an instant as any powerful being could do this. What surprised him was that the ’dead’ creature before him was actually alive!

He ran out in a panic.

Although Tang Eltangz made sense, when the previous elder appeared, Jia Yan remained motionless, making it hard for others to believe his words.

Finally, a week had passed!

At this point, Jia Yan could feel the power within his body slowly restoring to a level where he could engage in minor battles!

He decided to begin communication!
