Chapter 789: Chapter 2 Awakening [Seeking Subscription]_2
"And the air here gives me a faint sensation of activating my body. No... I’ve noticed this feeling in the starry sky. Although I do not like this substance, it actually has the effect of enhancing vitality!"
Jia Yan was somewhat amazed, having made a lot of guesses about the present area.
However, these thoughts had not been confirmed. Such a potent substance merely increased his activity, but the benefits of it would slowly emerge, leaving him presently clueless.
While in deep thought, he heard a faint sound of footsteps.
He quickly resumed his position, and with no eyelids, his eyes would seem normal even when looking at other creatures.
Jia Yan’s compound eyes flashed a strange gleam as he discerned the newcomers.
He was surprised to find that the creatures’ appearance was extremely similar to humans on Earth!
Their skin was slightly darker, with a faint pinkish tone, otherwise, their body proportions and other features were almost identical to Earth people.
These similar-to-human creatures, three male and one female entered the house where Jia Yan was. One of them remained expressionless, while the other three displayed astonishment.
They chirped non-stop, and as Jia Yan listened attentively, he detected several Auster language words in their intonations!
This led him to make some strange associations.
Despite this, he stayed motionless, curious to know if these strange intelligent beings were subordinates or something similar of the previous monster. If so, he would need to be cautious!
After all, his energy hadn’t recovered yet. Even though he would be safe if he met that monster again, he was still concerned about the potential strong forces or more powerful beings behind it.
Even if there were no strong beings, he did not dare underestimate the technological power of this planet. After all, Auro had pointed out that they came to a place far more developed than the Perseus Arm Star Field. Hence, he had no doubt that there were powerful tech-weapons here capable of killing him.
At this moment, Jia Yan was trying to discern the conversation of the pink-skinned creatures while figuring things out.
His predictive ability, having already been validated, made learning another language similar to Auster not so difficult with previous learning experience.
These humanoid creatures circled around Jia Yan, and made strange remarks. They questioned the male who appeared to be confused.
The man, who Jia Yan recognized as the one who had driven him, was speaking with a sense of pride.
They held some devices that cast light on Jia Yan’s body, especially when it shone on his armor, brought smiles to their faces.
However, the humanoid beings quickly wore serious expressions.
Their devices started making strange beeping noises.
They discovered Jia Yan’s bioelectric pulses!
Apparently, this colossal creature before them was a living being!
The elderly man among the four immediately let out a screeching sound and retreated guardedly.
The other three also hurriedly withdrew.
They all intently fixed their gaze on Jia Yan, their expressions fluctuated, as their devices had confirmed that Jia Yan, this creature, was obviously still alive.
Jia Yan slightly froze, then he remained immobile...
He wanted to see what these people were going to do!
Even if they wanted to report something right away, they couldn’t escape in front of him. After all, Jia Yan had examined them earlier. These four beings’ combat power reached, at most, the earth level; a single brainwave power could take care of all of them!
All four looked at Jia Yan in horror, but seeing him unmoved they somewhat relaxed, thinking that the living creature was still unconscious and had not woken up.
"Tang Eltangz, look what you’ve done! What do we do now? If the guards find out that it’s still alive, the safety of our clan will be jeopardized!"
Listening to the elderly clan member, Tang Eltangz wanted to defend, but couldn’t find the words.
This error was indeed his. How could he have expected that the creature, which even the Lord thought was dead, would actually be alive when he picked it up?
If he had known that the monster he picked up had a fundamental strength above their forest area Lord, and that even their Lord could not easily detect his power from the energy fluctuations it emitted, then Tang Eltangz would never have brought it back.
At this moment, Tang Eltangz had no choice. Being a young clan member who made a mistake, he should take responsibility!
"So, should I go to the Lord and admit that all of this was my fault and hand this monster over to him?!"
