Chapter 671: Chapter 36: Earth, I’m Back!! 【Seeking Subscriptions】_1

Jia Yan looked around.

In this space, what used to be sightseeing windows when these served as commercial spacecraft, remained. Of course, they weren’t real windows, but reflected the outside using external cameras, portraying the scenery as if seen with the naked eye.

Jia Yan, lying on the cold metal floor, felt an intense longing for the warmth and scent of Earth’s soil.

"We’ll be back on Earth tomorrow..." Big Mosquito gazed out at the cosmic view, still unable to believe their adventures in the Scholz’s star system, which felt like a dream even now.

But it was all real. Here in this galaxy, he had seen and experienced so much that he could now define his journey.

Overall, it had been a good trip. Not only had he become stronger, but he also gained firsthand knowledge and understanding of the true stellar civilization and the so-called ’aliens’.

All these were crucial for Jia Yan’s current strength. If he were still on Earth, his potential for mutation would’ve remained uncertain. After all, Jia Yan found that mutation wasn’t just physical, but also dependent on environment and resources. If he had stayed on Earth, he might’ve never reached the Star Space Level.

"Fortunately, everything is about to come to an end. Even these space ships are slowly leaving the main area of the Scholz’s star. If their speed continues to escalate, they might even head towards Earth soon!"

Jia Yan gazed at the scenery outside. The Scholz’s Star, the grey-yellow stellar, had now slowly drifted away, turning into a bright but unremarkable star in the sky.

At least the powerful battleship of the Grey-Yellow Star’s advanced civilization was unlikely to continue its pursuit.

These ships from Earth City would head straight to the Solar System.

Reportedly, during the journey, they may encounter wandering planets and some interstellar material zones. The Earth City fleet will try to collect usable metals and other resources to replenish their supplies, which would make the journey to Earth less challenging.

Overall, the fleet was still filled with danger and uncertainty. The stability of the ships, the supply of materials, and the morale of the crew-turned voyagers were all big challenges.

But there was one significant advantage. Although the distance was vast, the crew aboard the not-so-fast cargo ships might need a decade or two to reach Earth. But thanks to relativity, they wouldn’t experience this long timeline themselves!

Because of the theory of space-time equivalence proposed in relativity, life forms traveling at such high speeds inside the ship would experience a much shorter duration. Possibly, it might just feel like a year before they reach the Solar System, according to some navigation experts in Earth City.

Indeed, Earth City was moving forward based on a unique theory of space.

They could achieve near-light speeds, something impossible otherwise, by a kind of shortcut. This is called warp speed travel, a hypothesis some scientists on Earth proposed, but the aliens had already applied it. In essence, the ships move through space distortion, which could be artificial or the natural space distortions present in the universe. Leveraging this space-time distortion, the ships could achieve or exceed the impossible light speed!

"It seems that Daphne will have a lot on her plate in the future. I can understand why she can’t go back with me. But if she can’t return, then someone else on Earth will have to help me with issues there. After all, the Metal Monster, as well as the exploration ships from the two civilizations, will need someone to understand them and provide me with strategies!"

Jia Yan pondered over many things, eventually identifying several matters that needed to be addressed!

After a short while, he summarized every aspect but couldn’t go on due to his frustration. He simply lay down on the floor.

The sounds of machinery resonated from the metal floor, indicating the ship’s high-speed operation. Listening to these sounds, Jia Yan marveled at their power, the power of extraterrestrial civilizations, which seemed impossibly vast!

That they could craft these powerful ships to traverse the stars was incredible. Had he not seen it with his eyes, Jia Yan would have found it hard to believe in the existence of intelligent civilizations in the universe. Even more unbelievably, these civilizations were so close to Earth!

Perhaps some things were just out of sight, and Earthlings once scrambled to find aliens without knowing that extraterrestrial intelligence was not elusive, and these alien civilizations did not pay Earth much attention!

If Earth didn’t have the ’azure material’ or what Jia Yan used to consider as the ’Star-condensed substance’, these civilizations probably wouldn’t be interested in Earth. Despite its intelligent life, Earth didn’t have the ability to match these civilizations!
