"You’re insane! How dare you challenge them? They’re the most powerful secondary-level powerhouses in the Group of Futile Life!"

Finia was nearly dumbfounded.

A person’s name carries weight like a tree’s shadow. Having spent so long on Carnival Star, she had heard the names of these four secondary-level geniuses daily. She now believed that each of these four powerhouses could possibly outmatch the top-tier geniuses from the outside world.

And yet, Jia Yan and that taciturn monster beside him—though they seemed to possess high-level talent—were now up against the four powerhouses. They were outnumbered, and besides, she didn’t think Jia Yan and his companion could win even in a one-on-one fight.

"You’re insane. Never mind, I’m running away on my own!" Finia sighed helplessly, then hurriedly flew toward the sky.

As long as she reached outer space, she had an escape contingency!

But even as she was fleeing, below her, Jia Yan and his avatar had already engaged in a fierce brawl with what was known as the four strongest secondary-level talents of Carnival Star!

"Four geniuses, huh?"

Jia Yan looked at the confident high-level talented secondary-level powerhouse monsters in front of him, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

This was his first time using the body of the Conceptual Ship to fight against a high-level talented secondary-level powerhouse. Moreover, he knew that in the Dark Realm, talent wasn’t highly regarded; many geniuses there could fight above their rank. So, he was somewhat looking forward to this battle.

Yet, something occurred that left all the spectators, as well as the fleeing female monster, stunned!

Squish!

The talon of Jia Yan’s bird-like form, as cold as a blade, stabbed directly into the enemy’s body.

Then, under the incredulous gaze of the high-level talented secondary-level powerhouse, Jia Yan’s icy-blue talon from the Conceptual Ship pierced through the entire body of his opponent.

"What is this?!"

The enemy was almost terrified beyond words.

Jia Yan himself was equally surprised.

As a monster whose original strength barely reached the Honored level, he had held his opponent’s abilities in high regard. Even though he believed he could escape from this big confrontation, he hadn’t imagined he would kill a high-level talented secondary-level genius so easily—especially when this was a monster praised by the Group of Futile Life, rumored to rival top-tier geniuses.

And yet, Jia Yan’s talon pierced through the opponent’s body in a single strike.

"You!"

The high-level talented monster stared at Jia Yan, looking as if it were about to cough up its life essence in shock.

This monster had completely underestimated Jia Yan’s strength. During their earlier clash, it had assumed Jia Yan—despite being an outsider with high talent—was still someone it could suppress with ease given its own abilities.

But now, it hadn’t expected the gap between their strength to be as vast as the heavens and the earth.

"Hmph, rivaling top-tier geniuses? What a fraud!"

When Jia Yan saw the enemy’s injuries, he immediately realized the opponent’s power wasn’t anything extraordinary. A sense of being insulted rose within him, and with this feeling, his talons struck again fiercely.

His pitch-black crow-like body, which the so-called four geniuses had mocked earlier, now sent chills down the spine of the so-called high-level genius under his onslaught. The latter finally sensed the shadow of death looming over him.

"I’m finished!"

The monster’s expression underwent a drastic change, but it was powerless to resist.

"Don’t hurt my lord!"

On the other side, several medium-level talented shadowy monsters became visibly anxious, shouting in a panic.

In truth, all of this took place in the blink of an eye. The so-called four geniuses hadn’t even managed to engage the high-level talented secondary-level avatar that had emerged from Jia Yan’s rear.

Seeing the strongest of the four geniuses critically injured from Jia Yan’s first strike and about to be killed by his next, the others were shocked. They rushed to assist their comrade.

But they forgot that another killing god had already approached them from behind Jia Yan!

Squish!

A monster that was just about to intervene was slashed in half by a single strike from Jia Yan’s secondary-level avatar, its blade-like arm cutting cleanly through.

"This can’t be happening."

The two remaining medium-level talented monsters behind the fallen one widened their eyes. They had roamed Carnival Star for years without encountering such terrifying secondary-level experts. But now, before them stood two monsters—one that effortlessly injured their strongest ally with a single strike and another that casually executed a medium-level talented secondary-level genius equivalent to themselves. Shock filled their eyes.

"Run!"

The two no longer dared to fight, retreating almost immediately.

But by abandoning their ally, the high-level talented secondary-level genius was once again exposed to Jia Yan’s talons from the Conceptual Ship.

"Die!"

Jia Yan thrust out a strike, ready to kill this "cheap knockoff."

"Hah, calling yourself a top-tier powerhouse? What a joke!"

The cold intent in Jia Yan’s eyes shone brightly. In this single move, his power erupted, a surge of cellular energy pouring forth.

This energy was unlike his original brainwave power. Cellular energy coursed through his entire being, and the Conceptual Ship’s compatibility with it became evident in this moment.

Jia Yan’s current strength was unimaginable to ordinary strong ones.

BOOM!!!

Just as Jia Yan’s talon descended, an overwhelming force abruptly struck, crossing the distance in an instant to collide fiercely with his attack.

Jia Yan felt the power’s terrifying magnitude, forcing his body to reel back and hurtle dozens of kilometers into the sky.

At the impact site, a massive monster radiating immense power appeared as if it had crawled out from ancient times—a creature akin to a dinosaur, arriving almost as though it had teleported.

The force Jia Yan had collided with moments ago had come from this monster’s talons.

Yet even now, this monster seemed to hesitate slightly, its body faintly rippling from the recoil of Jia Yan’s earlier strike.

"Hmm?"

The monster, incredulous, lifted its gaze to the "giant bird" thrown into the distance, a hint of fear glimmering in its eyes.

But Jia Yan, unaware of the creature’s thoughts, spotted its arrival and narrowed his eyes sharply.

"A mid-level Semi-star genius!"

A chill went through Jia Yan’s heart. Glancing at his avatar chasing down the remaining "Carnival Star secondary-level geniuses" below, Jia Yan turned and bolted toward the upper atmosphere!

Jia Yan had decided to abandon the battle.

With a Semi-star-level powerhouse interfering, he dared not linger for even a moment.

Moments later, after killing another of the "Carnival Star Four Talents," Jia Yan’s avatar hesitated, then surged ahead with a blast of brainwave power, rapidly escaping toward the sky.

Jia Yan had already planned that if the Semi-star monster pursued them too closely, he would sacrifice the avatar as a decoy and escape under its cover.

After all, against the strength of a mid-level Semi-star genius, Jia Yan had few other options.

"Think you can run?"

The mid-level Semi-star genius hesitated briefly after clashing with Jia Yan but ultimately gave chase upon seeing him flee.

However, this moment of hesitation allowed Jia Yan to gain a significant lead, shooting hundreds of kilometers into the air. Meanwhile, the avatar trailed just over a hundred kilometers behind him.

The pursuing monster, seeing Jia Yan’s lead, couldn’t help but reveal a flicker of apprehension in its gaze.

"What was that power we just clashed with?"

Recalling their earlier encounter, the monster was deeply unsettled.

Jia Yan’s cellular power was an untapped treasure. Without the Conceptual Ship’s aid, he couldn’t fully wield it, and even Jia Yan himself wasn’t aware of how much his strength had increased with its assistance.

Though amazed, the mid-level Semi-star genius wasn’t about to abandon his pursuit of Jia Yan simply because of this unique energy.

"To step foot on our Carnival Star, one must be prepared to die. Even if this genius has some status, he’s not among the few known to me. However, I must be cautious when capturing that secondary-level genius from the BeiTuan faction upfront; I don’t want to spark conflict between the BeiTuan and the Group of Futile Life."

Having made up his mind, the Semi-star genius surged ahead, easily overtaking Jia Yan’s high-level talented avatar.

As he passed the avatar, the dinosaur-like creature stomped its colossal foot down. Its sheer strength sent shockwaves rippling through the sky.

"Terrifying. This is the strength of a Semi-star powerhouse!"

Below on Carnival Star, some of the monsters trembled at the sound of the explosion overhead. Seeing the four secondary-level geniuses earlier had already astounded them. But now, a top-tier figure from Carnival Star’s apex—a Semi-star powerhouse—had appeared, leaving them paralyzed with awe.

The fact that two creatures, the "giant bird monster" and the "muscular monster," had compelled such a figure to intervene made them even warier.

Yet despite this growing respect, they were convinced that once the Semi-star powerhouse joined the fray, neither of the two monsters could escape.

"This genius from the BeiTuan faction, you’d better come down quietly and submit,"

the Semi-star monster declared coolly after stomping down.

Jia Yan’s avatar was slammed by an overwhelming force and sent crashing back down to Carnival Star’s surface like a cannonball.

"Now it’s your turn!"
