So I decided, before leaving, to crack into The Star of Carnival’s internal network and discovered their plan to target you. That’s why I contacted you."

Jia Yan was curious as to why this undercover Monster was helping him.

The next steps unfolded seamlessly—learning that a small force from the Group of Futile Life would soon pursue him, Jia Yan decided to leave. A hotel staff member sent to observe Jia Yan ended up getting knocked out by him during her reconnaissance.

Thanks to his Subspace Ability, Jia Yan crossed dimensions undetected by most of The Star of Carnival’s Strong Ones, finding himself at this planned rendezvous point with the undercover Monster.

"Alright, let’s cut the chatter. Now that I’ve been exposed and you two are being hunted, we must work together to leave The Star of Carnival."

The female Monster spoke with some reluctance.

She didn’t disclose which faction she was working for, but Jia Yan could imagine it must be from one of the Dark Realm Forces adjacent to the Group of Futile Life.

"Alright, let’s leave together." Jia Yan nodded.

In truth, he wasn’t particularly anxious. With his Subspace Ability, he could easily escape from even a Middle-Level Semi-permanent Star Genius, and he remained confident against a High-Level Semi-permanent Star Registry.
