Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito -
Chapter 1231 - 18: Black Hole Weapon?! [Sorry]
Chapter 1231: Chapter 18: Black Hole Weapon?! [Sorry]
Jia Yan certainly had to leave; he already had a sense of the mystery and terror of the Biochemical Empire, and at this time, he did not want to provoke the possibility of a Great Level Powerhouse behind the Biochemical Empire!
And just as Jia Yan stealthily stepped into the distortion, the monster from the Biochemical Empire on that Management Star seemed to sense something and suddenly opened its eyes.
"How strange... I thought I felt a surge of Space Power just now."
The monster pondered the fluctuations of this Power, but then chuckled lightly, "Impossible. How could there be an existence more formidable than me in this Starfield? It must be my imagination..."
This monster considered the ripple of Jia Yan’s disappearance as an illusion, then muttered somewhat gloomily, "Why would the Respect the Emperor think to station me in such a place... sigh, I should avoid trifling with powers of this Level. I hope once my fifty-year mission ends, I can leave this godforsaken place."
Jia Yan stepped out of space.
He was a thousand kilometers away from the Management Star, and then he looked back at it.
"There is a powerful entity of the Biochemical Empire above, although definitely weaker than me, still not to be underestimated," Jia Yan looked at that planet, his expression somewhat vigilant.
To be aware, the existence of the Biochemical Empire seems to be related to the ’Insect Clan’, and behind the Insect Clan, there might be the ’Great Existence’ that once possessed him, which is a Galaxy Level Powerhouse.
Against such an existence, Jia Yan had yet to think of any way to resist; for now, he could only adopt the approach of avoiding those he could not afford to provoke.
"But this Management Star is discussing methods to deal with me, which I would normally not pay much mind to; but with the presence of an entity from the Biochemical Empire, I must be on guard."
Jia Yan felt somewhat conflicted in his heart.
"Enough, this Pinnacle of Space Strong One can’t even detect my Brainwave Power; this shows that my strength is still much stronger than his. So, I will go down there and quietly find out how they plan to deal with me."
Having made up his mind, Jia Yan flew down toward the Management Star.
However, this time he did not use a Power exceeding that of a Starry Sky High-Order Expert and observed whether the Biochemical Empire Strong One noticed anything unusual about himself.
"Eh, another Early Stars power has come to this Management Star. Unexpectedly, within this small area, there are so many Starry Sky Strong Ones," the Biochemical Empire powerhouse stationed at a certain point on the Management Star sensed the arrival of Jia Yan, an ’Early Stars power’, and expressed his surprise with a sigh.
Of course, his surprise was simply because it was rare to see Strong Ones above Star Space Level in the Orion Arm; outside of it, Starry Sky powers were too common, and he normally wouldn’t pay any attention to the average Star Space Level Strong One, given the significant disparity in strength among them.
Meanwhile, Jia Yan secretly observed the Strong One’s reaction, and seeing no change in the other party’s behavior or any Galaxy Level Powerhouse approaching, he breathed a bit easier.
Galaxy Level Powerhouses were too formidable for Jia Yan. Even though he was quite confident in his own strength, he still did not feel that he could match up to a Galaxy Level Powerhouse.
The Biochemical Empire entity might be associated with a Galaxy Level Powerhouse, hence Jia Yan did not wish, nor was willing to have any potential encounters with this Powerhouse.
However, as Jia Yan descended on this star, a meeting targeting a certain Strong One was actually unfolding throughout the planet.
"I’ve said before, that so-called Earth messenger is nothing but a fraud; he’s just a sham used by the Ru Lan Empire to extort the Auster Empire. You know that old Green-skinned Strong One from the Ru Lan Empire, our Auster Empire could only fend him off with the nation’s full strength. Were it not for him, the Auster Empire might have eradicated the Ru Lan Empire a long time ago. And now, the Ru Lan Empire claims that their emissary is someone even the old monster can’t deal with? I cannot believe that!"
"I believe you’re delirious with a fever! Do you think that old monster is invincible? You should be aware, in the entire Milky Way, the Strong Ones are immeasurable. You think he’s powerful? Any Powerhouse sent from the Insect Clan could probably annihilate him."
The voices of the Strong Ones arguing were extremely loud.
Among these Strong Ones, there was a creature similar in appearance to Humans but with fish scales on its cheeks, who coughed impatiently.
"Alright, everyone, stop arguing. I think the Auster Empire might as well send a Strong One to probe the depth of this Strong One first. I think whether he’s Dragon or Insect, he’ll slip up."
The words spoken by this Strong One made all the other Strong Ones nod in agreement.
"That Earth messenger will surely pass through our Starfield. If we want to test him, we’ll see if he comes this way. Besides, here on the Management Star, I’ve prepared something specifically to deal with such Strong Ones..."
After a Strong One mentioned this, his comrades around him suddenly looked at him in surprise.
"Heh, I can’t say what it is now; if I talk about the intelligence, it might leak out." The Strong One saw his colleagues looking at him in surprise and shook his head smugly, maintaining secrecy from his peers.
Although Jia Yan was powerful, since arriving on this Management Star, he had to consider the Strong One from the Biochemical Empire and was thus unable to fully unleash his Brainwave Power, which meant he did not hear the conversation of this group of Strong Ones.
As they strolled on the Management Star, Jia Yan also caught some special images.
Nothing on the Management Star could compare to the Northern Star Domain, yet one thing surpassed it— there seemed to be an overwhelming number of military personnel relative to civilians, which did not quite fit with common sense.
Disguised as an ordinary Auster person, Jia Yan, with his black hair and eyes, belonged to a minority on this Management Star but had nothing particularly unusual about his appearance.
Therefore, at this moment, after sensing the peculiarity of this Management Star, he also approached some passersby and subtly elicited the reason behind this special military-to-civilian ratio.
"Turns out, this Management Star is primarily focused on governance. The populace is secondary, and those living here are strictly selected before they can stay on the Management Star. The soldiers, even more so, are required to return to their original units after a few years."
Upon learning of the unique class restrictions on this Management Star, Jia Yan felt a sense of novelty.
Not everything about an Outer Star is necessarily good for Jia Yan, but these imperfections surely have their deep-seated reasons for existing, and Jia Yan came to slowly understand them.
However, before he could uncover the root reason, he learned what this Management Star was planning against him!
Perhaps none of the strong ones on this Management Star had ever anticipated that Jia Yan, the ’Earth messenger’, would stealthily arrive at their Management Star. After all, Jia Yan’s actions in the Ru Lan Empire could very well be described as extremely domineering. As a result of their poor secrecy, Jia Yan quietly infiltrated the Management Star and roughly figured out their intended mode of attack!
"Good heavens, the upper echelons of this Management Star have gone mad; they actually want to create an artificial black hole to attack me?!"
Jia Yan was dumbfounded when he finally pieced together the intentions of the Management Star’s high-level officials after combining the clues.
This news came from several military officers speaking in a private room within a hotel. Although they were discussing matters in a secret chamber, they could never have imagined that Jia Yan could hear their conversation.
Even though Jia Yan’s strength far surpassed theirs, their words still gave him a shock.
This Management Star wants to make a black hole weapon?
It is known that the technology to create black holes exists in the Northern Star Domain, yet they have never used it in war.
Because even the Northern Star Domain isn’t perfect with this technology, back in the Orion Arm, Jia Yan hardly believes that the Auster Empire would possess it!
"Could it be that the strong ones from the Biochemical Empire are secretly helping them?" Jia Yan thought, shuddering at the possibility.
In his view, this was highly likely. If the Biochemical Empire really was as powerful as Jia Yan believed, then they could have the influence to potentially acquire black hole weapon technology.
"But why would they do this, could it be that they have taken a liking to me again?"
Jia Yan remembered the words of that great being, who, at their last conversation, dismissed the worth of his true body for further observation. Could it be that they would still send the strong ones from the Biochemical Empire to target this avatar of his?
"Forget it, let’s see how things go step by step, if worst comes to worst, I’ll just skip this Management Star."
Resigned to his fate, Jia Yan decided to stay hidden on this Management Star, wanting to gather more information.
Jia Yan could not be certain whether there were strong ones from the Biochemical Empire on this Management Star, or whether the black hole technology aimed at him was being produced; thus, he wondered if similar technologies might also be circulated elsewhere in the Auster Empire?
Or perhaps, could there be strong ones from the Biochemical Empire in other places as well?
If that were the case, then Jia Yan would have a real headache, as he truly did not wish to deal with the Biochemical Empire.
But things do not always go according to plan.
What Jia Yan did not know was that in the Auster Empire Capital,
a massive creature, unprecedentedly large, had arrived at the bustling center of the entire Auster Empire, also a hub of power.
It was a massive monster resembling a white swan, different from ordinary creatures in that its body seemed to be pieced together from two monsters.
Yet even so, it exuded a presence surpassing that of a Starry Sky High-Order Expert and was in fact a Pinnacle of Space existence!
This powerful being, at the busiest place in the Auster Empire Capital, whipped up furious gales with its wings.
The gales transformed into streaks of terrifying power, blowing away ordinary civilians and even buildings below!
Countless Auster people lost their lives in this fierce wind.
"Ha ha, I am the Emissary of the Biochemical Empire. I have come here today to demand your Auster Empire’s submission, to become the Biochemical Empire’s lackeys. Surrender obediently to me!"
The white swan monster laughed heartily.
