"Where has that Lord gone?"
The Auster young man shook his head helplessly in the command cabin.
He had indeed been protecting the Lord who suddenly appeared, but in such a situation, he couldn’t say much. That Strong One had just disappeared when their fleet was in danger.
Even he himself was beginning to wonder if the Strong One had fled.
"That Single-person Battleship is about to call the last number, what do we do? I think we should surrender."
A commander in the command cabin said in a somewhat panic-stricken tone.
The senior commanders were hesitant to respond, but the turmoil in their hearts had already betrayed them.
But after a good ten seconds or more, there was still no voice coming through the communicator from that Single-person Battleship Strong One.
"How come? There’s no sound at all!" one commander exclaimed in surprise.
"You don’t have to worry anymore; he’s dead."
Just as the crew was filled with uncertainty, a faint voice came from behind them.
"Uh!"
They turned around to see a man standing at the very back of the command cabin, seemingly having been there from the beginning, speaking to them indifferently.
The operators were incredibly shocked. Wasn’t this the Strong One they thought had fled- the one they had invited to protect them?
"My Lord, are you saying that the Strong One on that Single-person Battleship is dead? Could it be... Did you kill him!"
A senior commander stutteringly looked at Jia Yan and then asked with difficulty.
He could hardly believe it. Had Jia Yan’s strength reached such a level? The opponent was clearly at the Star Space Level; they could feel the faint strength of that Strong One, but their own Strong One had killed him without them being able to detect anything?
"Yes, he’s dead. Let’s continue on our way." Jia Yan said indifferently.
He had been moving back and forth among the Battleships using his own shuttling ability. In this Starfield, since spatial warfare and technology were underdeveloped, there were no blockades in space, allowing him such mobility. If it were any other Starfield, Jia Yan might not have had it so easy because everyone knew how to affect space.
"Uh!"
The senior commanders and ship operators exchanged confused glances. They did not want to believe it, yet the Single-person Battleship hanging in the vacuum reminded them - the Strong One inside might have truly had an accident.
"What about... My Lord, what about this Single-person Battleship? It’s quite valuable," a commander inquired.
"Valuable? It’s not needed." Jia Yan shook his head and then pushed open the cabin door to return to his room.
"Not needed?! You should know that this Battleship could be worth ten times more than all the ships we have here." The commander was shocked, his eyes widening in disbelief.
But Jia Yan didn’t look back.
He understood that, although he looked down on this Single-person Battleship, it could indeed be very valuable - much like on Earth before the metal disaster when the principles behind all cars were similar, yet some luxury cars were worth a hundred times more than ordinary vehicles.
But if he looked down on it, that was that. Such a Battleship - Jia Yan’s true body could easily pull in a Battleship that was dozens of times better from the Northern Star Domain. As for money, Jia Yan didn’t care about it. He was in the Auster Empire to cause destruction, wasn’t it just like in the Ru Lan Empire where he could get whatever he wanted easily? Why would he care about money?
Jia Yan didn’t want it, and the bunch of senior commanders were dumbfounded. They were tempted to tow the Battleship, but it was huge and cumbersome. If they tried to operate it, a non-Strong One couldn’t possibly start it, and even if they did get it moving, it would be too conspicuous.
So, amidst their sighs, they let the Single-person Battleship go; as the fleet passed by it, a group of senior commanders’ eyes turned red with longing.
Of course, Jia Yan didn’t feel anything at all.
On their journey, similar incidents kept occurring, but no Strong Ones as powerful as before appeared; after all, Star-level strong people aren’t cabbages found easily on the road. If Jia Yan encountered them that frequently, he’d wonder if he was still in the Northern Star Domain.
Fortunately, no Star Space Level Strong Ones appeared - instead, they encountered a series of small, wandering factions or space pirates.
Under Jia Yan’s influence, these factions all perished directly, each time mysteriously vanishing without a trace.
"That Strong One is too powerful; what level of Power could he be? He can even annihilate Early Star Space Powerhouses - he might very well be a Starry Sky High-Order Expert. But there are only so many Starry Sky High-Order Experts in our Auster Empire, which one is he? I can’t seem to remember..." The crew members were all making guesses about Jia Yan’s Power, utterly conquered by his performance.
But no matter what they thought, they could not guess that Jia Yan’s Power was beyond all the Strong Ones in the Orion Arm, at the Starry Sky Sovereign Level, right?
Even his combat power was comparable to Semi-permanent Star Level, which was earth-shatteringly powerful.
Of course, these Auster people couldn’t guess Jia Yan’s strength, and the journey, though seemingly precarious, passed quickly without much harm.
"We’re out of the Interstellar material zone."
One day, cheers resounded throughout the entire fleet.
---
After marching for more than ten days in that interstellar material zone, these Auster people were somewhat exhausted. They knew of Jia Yan’s strength, but for this mysterious strong person, they did not trust him very much either. Fortunately, it’s all over now!
"Lord, the Management Star of our starfield lies ahead. Didn’t you want to take care of some business there? You can come with us now."
The boy came up to Jia Yan, somewhat excitedly speaking to him with joy.
"Alright."
Jia Yan nodded. The spacecraft they were on was now flying rapidly towards a celestial body that was roughly the size of the moon.
"The Auster people’s efficiency is not bad."
Jia Yan arrived at the spacecraft’s bridge and saw the so-called Management Star, inwardly expressing some admiration.
The so-called Management Star, even though technologically less developed than the Northern Star Domain, had been built into a planet with a very developed sense of technology due to their efficient work.
The entire planet was covered in buildings that appeared to accommodate the majority of Earth’s human population.
Some of the buildings also reached around eight or nine thousand meters tall, and although they were a bit behind the massive structures in the Northern Star Domain that easily reached over ten thousand meters in height, they were still quite impressive.
Developed – this was Jia Yan’s first impression of this planet!
"So many planets like this one exist within the territory of the Auster Empire? It seems that the war potential of the Auster Empire is stronger than that of the Ru Lan Empire," Jia Yan said, nodding his head with some appreciation towards the Auster Empire.
The fleet rapidly approached the enormous Management Star.
But just as they neared the Management Star, Jia Yan’s eyes suddenly shook fiercely!
An expression of drastic change flickered in his eyes.
Jia Yan was immensely powerful. Before the fleet got close to this so-called Management Star, he could already sense the presence of strong people on it from over a thousand kilometers away.
However, as he sensed the presence below, he suddenly detected an extremely powerful energy force!
This power was still not as strong as his, but it far exceeded the sensation of strength of the strong ones in this starfield!
This was the power of a Peak Star Space High-Level Powerhouse, and not the so-called High-space Level of the Orion Arm, but an outsider’s High-space Level!
Jia Yan was the first to sense the strength of the other party and quickly concealed some of his Brainwave Power.
His expression became peculiar, and a curious gleam flashed in his eyes.
"How odd, wasn’t it said that such strong entities should not appear in the Orion Arm? How could one be found in the Auster Empire? Even that green-skinned monster from the Ru Lan Empire seems to be slightly weaker than this one..."
His expression was one of curiosity, followed by an effort to further conceal his Brainwave Power before probing once again.
The other party’s strength seemed to be slightly weaker than Jia Yan’s. Earlier, the other party did not sense Jia Yan’s probing, and now that he was well-hidden, it was even less likely for him to sense Jia Yan’s investigation.
The spacecraft slowly approached, and Jia Yan was able to use more and more of his Brainwave Power, which also became more stable.
Then, through the exploration of his Brainwave Power, the shock in Jia Yan’s eyes grew even stronger!
He glimpsed the facade of a Star Space Peak Power.
"It’s a strong entity from the Biochemical Empire?! Can a strong person from the Biochemical Empire achieve such tremendous power?"
Jia Yan thought in shock.
Then suddenly, he felt a chill in his heart.
That is because he picked up a section of a horrifying memory again.
It was during the stealth escape from Grey-Yellow Star when he encountered a powerful commander from the Biochemical Empire. The other seemed merely in the Early Stars stage, yet when he appeared in space, he exhibited an extremely terrifying aura. Even at that time, Jia Yan was noticed by that so-called ’Great Level strong person.’
Jia Yan always kept this memory deep in his heart, and it was precisely because of this that he tried not to get involved with the Biochemical Empire’s creatures upon his return.
But unexpectedly, within the Auster Empire, he encountered such a powerful being from the Biochemical Empire!
"The Biochemical Empire’s strong ones are too mysterious. Since this strong person is here, it is better for me not to show my face, especially since I do not know whether he too has the ability to draw a Great Level existence for possession. If he can, then with my current power, it would be like throwing an egg against a rock..."
Jia Yan frowned with a touch of fear.
"Lord, we are about to arrive... Uh, Lord?"
The boy standing next to Jia Yan was still excitedly gesticulating next to him, but the moment he turned his head, he discovered that Jia Yan had simply ’vanished’!
"Lord? Where are you? What happened? Were you gone? We haven’t given you your money yet." The crew members of the fleet immediately began an urgent search for Jia Yan.
But Jia Yan had already quietly left, and they could not possibly find him!
Thanks to ’Yi Su Xin,’ a book friend, for the reward.
