Chapter 1130: Chapter 11 Solar System Battle Situation [First Update]

The Solar System, once considered a barren and backward galaxy,

but now, this galaxy is no longer the same.

In this starry sky, spaceships come and go. Although their number cannot compare with the bustling galaxies, it’s no longer a place devoid of ships soaring through the cosmos.

These ships vary in size; some are simple, some a bit more advanced. They shuttle back and forth throughout the galaxy, continuously transporting personnel and harvesting resources.

However, what sets some apart is that these ships all appear wounded, and a few of them seem to be barely operational, at risk of exploding at the slightest mishap. The technological content of these ships is a far cry from that of the Sagittarius arm, and their reliability suffers greatly.

"Everyone be careful, don’t let that damned Exploration Ship squad find us. If they give chase, don’t return to the main group’s rally point. Die honorably—Earth’s people will remember you!"

A middle-aged man on a broken warship with a few cannons bellowed to the ships outside.

Here near the edge of the Solar System, there are some decent resources. Earth people travel back and forth to harvest what is necessary.

But the condition of their ships indicates that gathering resources here is not an ideal choice, yet they have no alternative.

"Damn the Exploration Ships. If it weren’t for their wars with our two Starry Sky Empires, Earth might have already embarked on the true path to a spacefaring civilization!"

A few men with pale faces are now extremely vigilant, watching the surrounding cosmos. The basic ships, with their primitive detection systems, have to rely on their eyes and Earth’s rudimentary heat detection systems for alerts.

"Exactly! Good thing Respected Wanxin left behind a few Technology Creatures to continue helping us develop many battleships, allowing us to hold off the first wave of small attacks from the Ru Lan Empire two years ago. But I’ve heard recently that their mothercraft - that is, the half-combat carrier of the Ru Lan Empire - is coming to the Solar System through space travel. I don’t know whether Earth can withstand it."

"Don’t worry, I heard that Lord Assassin’s Earth Fleet is almost here. If we just hold out for one year... no, half a year will do!"

"Hold out? Haha, you haven’t seen the battle at Jupiter. You haven’t experienced the sheer terror of a real half-combat class carrier. Even the legendary Stellar level Giant Mosquito from the Assassin clan found them troublesome. What do we have to fight the half-combat class carriers with? Even if we hold them off for one year, do you really think Lord Assassin’s reinforcements can handle such a massive force?"

"Besides, what about the reaction of these two Empires? They might already be assembling a real army, preparing to conquer Earth’s people."

The Earth soldiers on the talking battleships finished their conversation, feeling the immense pressure weighing on them, a sense of overwhelming burden that almost left them speechless.

Yet even in despair, in the pitch black of space, they would not retreat.

And not far from the Solar System, a colossal ship, ten kilometers in size, traversed the vacuum swiftly.

"Lord Commander, the first vanguard squad we sent out was actually wiped out. Earth’s technology seems to have advanced even further in the past ten years."

Inside the tremendous ship, several beings acted as leaders, and currently, a creature resembling a spider spoke to another spider creature in a ’sisi’ sound while spinning Silk Thread.

"This isn’t surprising. Earth people must have received the support of some technological civilization or power. Otherwise, the previous half-combat carriers of the Auster Empire wouldn’t have failed directly. When I received the news, I immediately had the fleet rest and regroup for a good while. Luckily, during this rest, our fleet’s combat power increased a lot. It seems Earth people, no matter how formidable, cannot compete with us!"

The leading spider creature analyzed solemnly.

It was apparent from their dialogue that these creatures belonged to the Ru Lan Empire, and the massive half-combat carrier was the one Jia Yan had been worried about arriving at the Solar System prior to leaving.

From the creatures’ discussion, it was evident that it had been ten years since Jia Yan had left the Solar System. It seemed the Gravity Wave System’s travel was indeed marvelous but came at the cost of significant time; Jia Yan’s journey to the Sagittarius arm felt like only two to three years, yet in reality, about a decade had passed.

"Alright, we deliberately delayed our attack on the Solar System to increase our Combat Power. Now, our fleet’s combat power is absolutely unprecedented. Don’t hesitate, let’s proceed to the Solar System!"

The leader of the half-combat carrier declared with a shout.

And while he spoke, the fleet’s Detector emitted a piercing screech!

"Extreme spatial distortion detected! Warning!" The alarm system’s voice resounded loudly throughout the semi-combat-class carrier.

No matter how they checked, they were unable to determine the origin of this highly distorted space.

Moreover, this source of distortion simply flashed beside the carrier, moving at a speed countless times faster than their speed of light, and passed directly through!

"What is it? What on earth is it?" The spider monster, resembling a leader, was extremely astonished and anxious.

"Lord Commander, this should be an unsolved phenomenon in the universe, a mode of distortion traveling faster than light by tens of thousands of times. It’s presumed that no civilization could achieve this, except for some bizarre phenomenon of the universe itself. Lord, we shouldn’t concern ourselves with it."

The subordinate’s report somewhat relieved the commander, who let go of his worries. They were on a technological warship that barely exceeded the speed of light, and accelerating to such speed required the engines to run at full capacity for over a year. The opposing force was surpassing light speed by tens of thousands of times and, although using space distortion technology, it seemed impossible they could actually exceed the speed of light. Yet, to him, such terrifying technology was indeed miraculous.

If it were an enemy, there would be no need to fight. With the ability to launch a shell with this superluminal, tens of thousands of times faster technology, it wouldn’t just be them; even the Capital Star of the Ru Lan Civilization would vanish from the universe upon impact!

Fortunately, this seemed to be just a peculiar phenomenon within the universe.

It’s not strange; the closer one gets to truly exploring space, the more such phenomena are found. For example, aliens surpassing current civilizations, or the urban legends of super powerhouses passing through the Orion Arm thousands of years ago. However, actual observation tends to prove these as mere fabrications.

At least, it didn’t impact their strategy.

But what was the reality?

This extremely fast-moving object, distorting space, was quickly traversing the starry sky.

It moved like a straight line, terror in motion; the semi-combat-class carrier was stationary compared to it. The object needed to travel a significant distance, but it arrived in the blink of an eye!

"The Solar System... have we arrived already?"

Thump! Thump!

These crisp sounds were incredibly clear to Jia Yan’s ears.

With these sounds, the entire space cabin began to show signs of decelerating.

The distorted space showed a hint of returning to normalcy, and the twisted space that had fluctuated before their eyes for the past three months slowly became stable.

At the edge of the Galaxy, a tiny, ten-meter-long miniature craft, inexplicably emerged from the vacuum of space, as if it had appeared out of thin air!

It looked like a highly advanced craft. The material on its surface was definitely not something the Orion Arm could have, not to mention its propulsion system and the gently distorted space at the front end of the Gravity Wave System, which were far beyond the technological capacity of the Orion Arm.

When the tiny craft first appeared, it was moving at a terrifying velocity, around half the speed of light. Yet, just fifteen minutes later, it had come to a halt. To decelerate from the speed of light within such a short craft in mere minutes was a scientific conundrum that would have kept researchers busy for a long time, wondering how it didn’t disintegrate from the tremendous g-forces.

Yet, the craft effortlessly came to a stop, and the door of the space cabin at the top directly opened.

The space inside was even more cramped, barely enough for a human from Earth to squeeze into.

And the person inside indeed took the form of a human.

He was a young Earth man with black hair and yellow skin. Although his features were not particularly handsome, his demeanor was entirely unlike that of ordinary humans.

Indeed, he was Jia Yan!

After three months of travel through distorted space, even Jia Yan’s avatar was feeling the strain. As soon as the space cabin stopped, Jia Yan made a light movement in his bones!

Despite being in the vacuum of space, he shifted his feet and leapt out of the space cabin.

"The Solar System..." Seeing the space scenery outside, Jia Yan’s avatar looked greedily at everything before him.
