The only concern was that Jia Yan’s avatar had such a strong physical condition combined with the incredible power it carried, it might cause spacetime fluctuations and lead to some unpredictable consequences.
Of course, they had calculated these possibilities, so the chance of an accident occurring was probably quite small.
"Lord Jia Yan, this way please."
Jia Yan’s avatar walked with a group of scientific researchers towards a huge device, while Big Mosquito was waiting, since its enormous body couldn’t enter everywhere.
Meanwhile, Jia Yan’s avatar arrived inside the massive device with the researchers, where pipes and metal intersected everywhere, lacking substantial aesthetic appeal.
"Lord, this device was made with our utmost effort, and though it may not look like much now, if you let us continue to improve it, we are confident that after ten modifications we can reduce its size and cut the cost by more than half," the female lead researcher explained while walking, clearly not wanting Jia Yan to use this device just once, as that would mean their jobs would be gone.
"Alright, I understand. Keep on researching in the future. I think your work could even be of some help to my strength," Jia Yan nodded.
Hearing his words, the female researcher smiled, knowing that Jia Yan’s avatar and true body shared the same thoughts, so there was no fear that the real body outside would disagree.
Soon, the group reached the central area of the device, which contained a small space cabin just big enough for Jia Yan’s avatar.
"Lord, if you are sure about transmitting now, you can enter. We will conduct a series of checks, and then you can proceed with the spatial transmission," the female researcher said.
"Let’s do it now," Jia Yan said, taking a deep breath. Then, with a movement, he entered the space cabin instantly.
He seemed even more eager to see the results than the researchers.
The researchers began to hustle. They had thought Jia Yan would wait a while longer before transmitting, but he had decisively opted for immediate transfer, catching them unprepared.
However, the machine that was always ready for transmission started working very quickly.
"Lord, we are going to exit now. The transmission should start in about two minutes. During the transmission, please refrain from using any power, even try your best to block your power. Otherwise, if it triggers a spacetime fluctuation, it could be very dangerous,"
the female lead researcher said before leaving promptly.
Jia Yan’s avatar inside the space cabin took nervous, gentle breaths.
To fully focus his consciousness on this avatar, his real body in the outside world became somewhat trance-like, directly shutting off all sensations and concentrating his mind on this avatar.
The technology of avatars was indeed marvelous. Even though Jia Yan now possessed an avatar, he still didn’t understand the principle behind it. To him, the sensation of having two bodies was something he had only recently become fully accustomed to.
At this moment, the sensation of the avatar was intensified to the maximum, as Jia Yan almost forgot his true body, entering into the avatar’s body directly.
"Countdown one minute."
The female lead researcher began the countdown. For all the staff at the research institute, it was an incredibly tense moment. Although every test had been very successful, transmitting Jia Yan’s avatar—a monumental event—directly represented their future. If anything went wrong, nobody knew whether Jia Yan, who would suffer heavy losses, would kill them to vent his rage!
When the countdown reached the last ten seconds, Jia Yan’s avatar began to seal all his power completely.
Jia Yan understood the destructive effects of energy on space. Not to mention the terrifying level of his current energy, even an Earth Level Strong One could cause chaos in space by releasing a little bit of power during transmission, leading to the destruction of space and death within it.
It was impossible to transport the true body, which was one of the drawbacks. Not only was the research institute currently unable to transport Jia Yan’s true body’s huge size, but the main reason was that Jia Yan’s True Body Strength was too great. Coupled with the size of his body, the research staff, despite all their efforts, felt it was impossible to transport such a massive body.
The avatar tried its best to suppress its power, and a faint bluish color even appeared on the body’s surface. This was the Bluish Defense sealing off his body, preventing the body from involuntarily using power to the greatest extent in case of danger.
"Five."
"Four."
"Three."
"Two."
"One!!!"
At the last instant, the avatar took one last look at everything in front of him. He had a feeling that this avatar would never return to the Northern Star Domain again. Although his real body was still there, the avatar still felt a sense of farewell as it took one last look at the place.
"Transmit!"
The next moment, a soft, low shout rang out.
In that instant, Jia Yan felt his avatar’s entire body tighten!
"Transmission starts... my destination, Earth!" the avatar thought fiercely in his mind!
And at this moment, everything in heaven and earth began to distort in his eyes; afterward, space became unstable, and everything before him was spinning mysteriously.
Mosquito felt no great surprise, for he had experienced similar situations countless times.
And just as this sensation emerged, Mosquito felt a fierce and tremendous pain spread throughout his body, compelling him to clench his teeth tightly.
The power within him wanted to retaliate or to protect his body, but Jia Yan forcibly controlled them, preventing any action; otherwise, all would be lost.
The connection to his avatar seemed to momentarily feel a sense of loss, but fortunately, Jia Yan’s avatar’s mind cleared up, and afterward, a thought returned to the avatar.
The connection system of the avatar was unknown in its mechanism; despite Jia Yan’s research, he only knew that this connection utilized the theory of quantum entanglement, which in actuality couldn’t sustain communication over distances. However, in reality, Jia Yan could control the avatar through the entanglement of energy, and he even felt that the avatar’s thoughts were nearly identical to those of his true body.
"Uh!"
Mosquito could feel that the physical condition of the avatar was inferior to that of the real body by a vast difference, although the materials used were almost the best available in the Northern Star Domain. Without using energy protection, the avatar was exceedingly vulnerable in comparison to Jia Yan’s real body.
Streaks of blood appeared on the avatar’s body, and the suit designed to withstand spacetime fluctuations showed signs of slight damage.
"Hold on! This level of pain is nothing!" Jia Yan gritted his teeth and persisted.
The cosmos was entirely different from what was normally seen; the whole space cabin was cruising through distorted space.
This was Mosquito’s first time on such an extraordinary journey, with everything around him appearing so magical. Some Star Rivers twisted into long strips, and Jia Yan certainly did not want to collide with them, so he simply enjoyed the view before looking to the next scene.
Galaxies appeared and vanished before his eyes. He understood that he had left the Space Research Institute and was sent out by that huge device.
The celestial bodies that were initially passing not too quickly whizzed by and, after a few minutes, the fleeting galaxies and even entire star systems became a blur, zipping past at high speed.
Abruptly, a terrifying light appeared in front of him, and the space cabin hurtling through twisted space almost crashed into it head-on.
A shock ran through Jia Yan, and he thought about using his power to change the trajectory of the space cabin, but, remembering the instructions of the institute’s personnel, he bit back the urge.
The collision turned out to be a false alarm; the rapidly moving galaxy merely grazed by.
Now, Mosquito truly believed the institute’s personnel and gained more confidence.
Over a distance of ten thousand light-years, countless stellar objects and galaxy regions flashed by.
Yet, all of this, as viewed through the fast-moving distorted space from Jia Yan’s perspective, seemed somewhat insignificant. Streams of starlight dashed by, his speed exceeding that of light, and the space in front of the space cabin kept distorting, along with a push from the space equipment used during launch, its speed still accelerating before reaching its peak!
Inside the space cabin, Jia Yan’s avatar was transmitting dangerously, while back at the research institute, the tension was just as palpable. Thanks to quantum entanglement theory, the space cabin could still send signals back to the institute within a certain range, and at this moment, a group of researchers watched the data with no less anxiety than Jia Yan.
"The spacetime fluctuation data is within the normal range."
"A minor deviation in the data has occurred; the space cabin has self-repaired."
"A black hole reaction has been detected in front of the space cabin! The degree of space distortion has increased, and the space cabin has successfully bypassed this space sector!"
Each alarming report caused immense tension among the members of the institute. Despite having conducted numerous tests, transporting large objects through space presented them with some unforeseen incidents.
After all, anything could happen in ten thousand light-years of space, like invisible black holes or the intense gravitational force of White Dwarf Stars—incidents that could not be predicted and required the space cabin’s intelligent program to execute self-escape maneuvers when encountered.
Luckily, after five hours, everything was still normal.
"Alright, if that’s the case, it should be fine now. We should arrive ten thousand light-years away in about three months."
One by one, the institute’s members congratulated each other. They had worked long and hard in this area, and having survived one crisis after another, they were now about to usher in a new era of technology for the Northern Star Domain. They were the creators!
Mosquito’s real body, which had been distracted all this time, also regained movement. After some time of adjustment, he had successfully maintained the complete suppression of his avatar’s energy, and now, his real body too could move.
"Thank you all. In the future, I will personally host a celebration banquet for you," Jia Yan nodded to the excited group of scientists.
Afterward, his body took off, heading back to Magma Ground.
"Well, after getting to the Magma Ground, I can let my real body continue its Cultivation and breakthrough to Dignitary, while focusing my Heart and Mind on the avatar!" There was a look of joy in Jia Yan’s eyes.
"I wonder if Mom and Dad are doing okay? My sister’s family and my adorable niece, are they well too? I can’t wait!"
