Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito
Chapter 1105 - 36 Guest Elder [Second Update]

Chapter 1105: Chapter 36 Guest Elder [Second Update]

"Take your situation in Taia, for example. If you want to confront the current Country of Taia, just join us, and I believe other forces will not intervene in your war," the Tree Monster spoke of the benefits to Jia Yan.

"What else?" Jia Yan’s eyes lit up for a moment, but this benefit seemed not enough.

"As a strong one, materials are very important to you. Of course, your family’s strength is also considerable, but now that you are in the Northern Star Domain, your family’s power must have its limits. By joining us, not only can you obtain the greatest amount of resources but also assistance from all directions."

"Is that so?" Jia Yan remained silent for a moment. In fact, at this moment, he was consulting the Light Shadow Monster within his body.

"Senior, is it feasible to join this mercenary organization? What dangers might I encounter in the future?"

"Jia Yan, you need to think about this yourself. Your origins are a mystery to the mercenary organization. They definitely see you as a sacred tribe’s expert. If they find out in the future that you’re not from the sacred tribe, what they might do is hard to say. Moreover, joining the mercenary organization would come with some restrictions and might even send you to an extremely dangerous place – the Slaughter Field. However, should you join, what they’ve just offered is not entirely wrong; you would reap short-term benefits. How to proceed is up to you," the Light Shadow Monster transmitted to Jia Yan.

"The restrictions are that significant? Plus, the risk of that extremely dangerous place? Then there’s no need to think about it."

Jia Yan snapped out of his reverie and then directly shook his head at the Tree Monster: "I’m sorry, I cannot join the mercenary organization."

"Heh, it’s typical for the sacred tribe not to casually join other organizations. However, general sacred powerhouses might join an organization as a guest elder. Don’t worry, a guest elder’s status comes with practically no restrictions and doesn’t entail any missions. It’s merely like having a friend who holds a title. Of course, you won’t obtain as many benefits from the organization as a guest elder. Mister Jia Yan, I now invite you to join our mercenary organization as a guest elder! Do you agree?"

The Tree Monster seemed to have anticipated Jia Yan’s refusal to join the mercenary organization and showed no surprise as it immediately took a step back to invite him as the so-called ’guest elder.’

"Guest elder? Jia Yan, you can accept this. It’s merely a formality and gets you a friendly position in their ranks with very little limitation. For you, there will be only benefits and no downsides," the Light Shadow Monster reflected a while before speaking inside Jia Yan’s body.

"Good, I am willing to become a guest elder of your organization," Jia Yan said, nodding his head doubtless after hearing the Light Shadow Monster say so.

The Light Shadow Monster had helped Jia Yan too much, and he trusted its judgment.

"Fantastic! Do you have our organization’s black card by any chance? If not, I can give you a blank one," the Tree Monster said, its joy intensified upon hearing Jia Yan’s agreement. It knew well that sacred powerhouses seldom join any organization, and if they do, it’s usually as a guest elder. Even securing a sacred powerhouse as a guest elder is quite difficult; when one emerges, myriad organizations vie to invite them due to the incredible benefits of even having them as an ally!

"A black card? Will this one do?" Jia Yan found the mention of the black card curious and took out the one given to him by Tian Wu, the lead of the top ten strong in the Desolate Star System.

"Eh, this black card is rarely given out. You actually have one... Oh, you must have obtained this from Tian Wu of the Desolate Star System, right? I didn’t expect him to give you such a precious black card. You should know, this is a special black card bestowed upon him as a member of the Water Droplet Clan from our organization. Now that he has given it to you, the black card belongs to you going forward. You will also inherit his treatment."

When the Tree Monster saw Jia Yan’s black card, it seemed slightly surprised, and its gesture to take out another black card stopped, apparently because the card it intended to offer was of a lower tier than what Jia Yan already held.

"Kid, you know someone from the Water Droplet Clan? That species is no simple matter; it seems your past experiences are quite interesting," the Light Shadow Monster also expressed its puzzlement inside Jia Yan’s body. However, to it, the Water Droplet Clan was only somewhat powerful and far from requiring their attention, so there was no great shock.

For Jia Yan, the Light Shadow Monster’s notice of the Water Droplet Clan sparked a hint of curiosity about the existence of that species.

"In that case, Mister Jia Yan, I will now add some of our organization’s mercenary credibility points to your black card. You should know our organization has branches in many places. As long as you’re within this large region, you can exchange the credibility points in any mercenary organization branch for certain materials, some of which I believe you can’t exchange for elsewhere," the Tree Monster said as it and several monsters beside began operating. After some documentation was processed, prompting Jia Yan to recognize the information, the entire process of becoming a guest elder was completed.

Becoming a guest elder in the mercenary organization was simple and only slightly more intricate than being an official mercenary. With the Tree Monster’s help, the tier was absolutely sufficient.

"Now, Mister Jia Yan, you are an official guest elder of our mercenary organization. In the future, you may use this status to obtain certain resources from our mercenary organization," the Tree Monster said as if trying to get on friendly terms with Jia Yan. However, Jia Yan, who was more concerned about the fake Giant Mosquito Fleet, didn’t think much of the guest elder status in the mercenary organization and how it might help him, so he declined the Tree Monster’s offer.

Before long, Mosquito’s silhouette slowly walked out of the building.

The Tree Monster behind him had returned to the building early due to Mosquito’s refusal. At this moment, Mosquito was walking out of the building alone, feeling somewhat emotional as he looked back at the terrifyingly massive structure, never having expected that he would so easily survive a crisis upon entering the Mercenary Organization.

"Mosquito, the Mercenary Organization is a horrific organization beyond your imagination. It is so strong that even my master would not dare to provoke it during his victorious days. Of course, if truly provoked, the other party would be quite troubled as well, so in the future, you must be careful with them. It is one of the top forces in this vast area nearby."

"I understand," Mosquito nodded.

On Mosquito’s side, there wasn’t much thought given to this so-called test, but for the Mercenary Organization, Mosquito’s test had caused a huge uproar!

Mosquito’s strength entirely exceeded the imagination of the entire Mercenary Organization’s higher-ups!

To them, the Giant Mosquito species was definitely a Sacred Powerhouse, but they had thought that perhaps Mosquito’s strength in the Desolate Star System was not yet great, and in the Northern Star Domain, he may have just recently advanced, so they dared not send too powerful Strong Ones because even a Sacred Powerhouse needs a period of growth. Originally, they thought that even if Mosquito could beat the Moth Monster Bian Kan, it would still be a fierce battle. It was unthinkable for Mosquito to win without paying a significant price.

But they were wrong!

Mosquito’s previous battle against the Red Tower Alliance’s Lord Level was considered opportunistic, and though Bian Kan’s combat power might not match a Lord, it was at least at the top of the High-level Experts. These senior members of the Mercenary Organization could never have imagined Mosquito could easily defeat him!

"Quick, list this Mosquito as a Sacred being of tremendous potential. This species is truly worthy of its renowned status as strong Species throughout the entire Starry Sky. Even though they no longer have Stellar Level Powerhouses, their combat power is too strong. This Mosquito could very well be a pillar among the future Sacred Powerhouses. Mark him as a key observation target, and lend a hand should he encounter some difficulties."

In a place unknown, a supremely powerful Monster uttered this remark indifferently.

However, that was all it was—a simple remark; it seemed that for this being, Mosquito’s existence was only worth this slight exclamation.

This powerful being simply settled Mosquito’s issue and then moved on to arrange other matters.

"Has the Luoci Empire been pushing us again? That nation really has a lion’s mouth, but my Mercenary Organization is not something they can provoke easily. I’m sure the Empire wouldn’t dare demand people from us. Alright, let the Northern Star Domain deal with their own headache. Their most formidable Genius has just perished at the hands of Mosquito. I wonder what shock this will cause the Northern Star Domain and those Families..."

This powerful existence subtly shook heaven and earth, causing the Strong Ones who came to receive orders to tremble incessantly. Having received a response, they hastily retreated.

Not long after, the trembling ceased, as if nothing had happened.

...

Regardless of the impact it might cause, Mosquito had done what he did, and at the moment, he didn’t seem to care at all about the disturbance he had caused in the Northern Star Domain.

He didn’t need to care, really. He wasn’t a being from this Starfield in the first place. If possible, he would rather not have the Giant Mosquito Fleet nor the strength he had now, but return to Earth and live a peaceful life.

Really, Mosquito was tired.

But there were always too many things to do, and even if he wanted to rest for a while, it was impossible.

"Alright, I’ve gotten through the crisis with the Mercenary Organization. Next up is that so-called ’Giant Mosquito Fleet’! This Ghost Li really is stirring up trouble on Dragon Bell Star. Even many central formidable powers of the Northern Star Domain are getting involved? They should know this is all counterfeit, yet they’re playing this unclear game here, completely disregarding my legitimate Giant Mosquito Fleet!"

After Mosquito stepped out of the Mercenary Organization’s building, he took out his light brain and looked up some information on the fake version of the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

"So they are signing the contract tomorrow, right? Then I’ll show up at that time and let the public witness the fate of the counterfeit!" Mosquito thought with a gleam in his eye.

Mosquito wasn’t too wary of the so-called ’Giant Mosquito Fleet’s strength. After analyzing the strength of the powerful beings on Dragon Bell Star, aside from the few peak Starry Sky Strong Ones from the Mercenary Organization, Dragon Bell Star had only five or six top Starry Sky Experts, and as for those at the Lord Level, there was only one.
