Extremely precise instruments would stop functioning upon sustaining some damage, even with alien technology.

At this moment, the analysis equipment sparked violently under Jia Yan’s strike, emitting a puff of smoke and astonishingly halting its operation!

"Gaga gaga gaga!" The Chaos Fruit that had spewed out the mysterious stones now let out an extremely joyful cry before rushing forward happily.

Jia Yan’s expression shifted; he didn’t bother with the creature since the power of the Chaos Fruit had plummeted so much that it seemed to affect its digging.

Should it make a move, Jia Yan would restrain it in an instant!

"What is this?" Jia Yan stepped forward and picked up the stone-like material from the ground with his forelimbs.

"Gaga gaga gaga gaga gaga!" The Chaos Fruit called out to its half-bodied companion, to no avail, obviously in vain.

Jia Yan, however, ignored them, concentrating on studying the stone he had picked up.

Indeed, the stone could perform an auxiliary function for Jia Yan. Of course, for his mutation, it wasn’t much of a help, and now was not the time for him to mutate, even if he had piles of such material in front of him. His body wasn’t ready, and a forced mutation would only lead to a fatal outcome!

"But to be prepared, this material actually does help with my next mutation. Even though I know that the next advancement won’t be simple and it may require even more of this material to successfully mutate, finding one is still a significant gain for me!"

"The only problem is that this stone is too potent; to be of any help to me, I would need at least a thousand of them, maybe even more," Jia Yan thought, his Compound Eyes shimmering as he looked at the Chaos Fruit lying on the ground, calling out to its partner...

"Gaga gaga..." The Chaos Fruit seemed to feel Jia Yan’s gaze. It looked at Jia Yan, tentatively trying to extend its limbs to lift its companion off the damaged platform.

"Wait."

Before that could happen, Jia Yan’s body flashed like lightning, arriving in front of the creature.

"Squeak squeak!" The Chaos Fruit still fiercely guarded its partner, constantly threatening despite losing much of its power.

"I have no interest in you and your companion, but I want to know the origin of this thing. If you want to take your buddy away, take me to where this stone was found!" Jia Yan said indifferently.

When he had first touched the stone, he could feel an energy similar to that in the Chaos Fruit’s body. However, it was clear that this wasn’t a product of the Chaos Fruit’s body; in fact, some of the creature’s characteristics had changed because of the mysterious gray stone.

So he deduced that the Chaos Fruit might have a much larger stash of similar resources. If he could find more of these gray pebbles...

With that thought, the spark in Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes burst forth even brighter.

Securing supplies for an eventual Stellar Level advancement would give him much more confidence for the future. Knowing how Old Suo Wu, though prodigiously talented, had been stuck at the door to Stellar Level for a lifetime, Jia Yan, although confident, knew more certainty in advancement was always better!

"Gaga gaga..." The Chaos Fruit didn’t seem to understand Jia Yan’s words—language barriers, after all—and though its intelligence might be considered high among outer star monsters, it wasn’t particularly smart compared to truly intelligent beings.

Seeing that language wasn’t getting the message across clearly, a glimmer shone in Jia Yan’s eyes.

Then the Chaos Fruit saw its half-bodied companion float up by itself, moving toward Jia Yan.

"Gaga gaga!" It screamed and tried to rush forward, but an unseen energy held it back.

"Understand now? If you want your buddy’s life, just tell me where you got this stone from!"

Jia Yan brazenly presented the gray stone, which flickered with a sparkling light between them, constantly shimmering.

This time the creature seemed to grasp Jia Yan’s intent.

"Gaga gaga gaga gaga..." The Chaos Fruit used its duck-like mouth to emit call after call, but its language was still incomprehensible to Jia Yan, leading to a communication breakdown.

Boom boom boom boom!!

Just then, a series of immense sounds transmitted from the ground!

Accompanied by those sounds, two dreadful silhouettes appeared in Jia Yan’s field of vision through the outside world.

The scenery outside the cave hinted at tumultuous changes, and to Big Mosquito, the entire world seemed subtly controlled at this moment!

"Not good!"

Jia Yan startled; preoccupied with the Chaos Fruit before him, he had made the same mistake as Suo Wu, underestimating the safety of his surroundings and failing to notice the approach of two huge bodies from outside.

There were two creatures reaching a height of three hundred meters approaching this region outside the mountain, with an imposing aura comparable to outer star forces.

This was two Starry Sky Monster level Three-headed Monsters, which originally had a concept of territory, yet at this moment, seemed as though they had struck some sort of agreement, advancing together toward this mountainous region.

One of them was clearly the same Lord Level Three-headed Monster that Jia Yan had been encountering before. Now its visage bore a tinge of regretful pain. Presumably, it had paid a significant price to persuade the other Three-headed Monster to join forces.

However, when it caught sight of Jia Yan at the entrance of the cave beneath the mountain, it revealed an expression of intense longing, mixed with a bit of hatred. Failing to capture Big Mosquito several times was an unspeakable humiliation for it. Over the past few days, the other four Lord Level Three-headed Monsters in the region had been laughing stocks, and it was the butt of the jokes.

The fact that it was finally willing to set aside prejudices and resolve to invite a Fellow Clansman Lord Level to catch Jia Yan showed just how desperate it was for Big Mosquito!

Of course, what it didn’t know was the true source of Jia Yan’s allure to this monster. For it, just knowing that this outer-world monster was of great help was enough, not even remotely interested in understanding that it was actually an Evolutionary Creature, which was highly "nutritious."

Roar roar!

Upon seeing Big Mosquito, the other Three-headed Monster also seemed to have realized something, directly revealing a shocked expression.

After that, it too seemed somewhat eager, its three heads impatiently charging towards the peak.

The other Three-headed Creature was roaring while charging, seemingly hinting at something to its companion. But this hint was probably already useless. The newly appeared Lord Level Three-headed Monster had a look of determination that it absolutely must obtain its prey.

"These Three-headed Monsters are actually inviting friends, this is trouble!"

Jia Yan looked back in some shock.

But just when he was about to quickly drill out of the cave entrance to start running away, he suddenly heard a crisp cry from behind!

"Caw caw caw!"

The Chaos Fruit behind Jia Yan let out a loud call; it, too, was anxious. It was well aware of the Three-headed Monsters’ craving for their species’ flesh. Countless Chaos Fruits had been killed by the Three-headed Monsters in this region over time. Now seeing the strongest Lord Level Three-headed Monsters, it felt extremely afraid.

Yet, it still hadn’t forgotten its companion under Jia Yan’s control.

When the Chaos Fruit called out twice to get Jia Yan’s attention, it used eye signals to communicate something, then it arrived at a shallow pit near the cave entrance!

"So this is how you approached the entrance. Truly worthy of a creature that lives underground; I didn’t even notice!" Jia Yan sighed.

However, the situation remained critical. The charging Three-headed Monsters had already arrived not far from the mountain top. Facing two Respect Level Monsters, Jia Yan had no illusions of ease. Even a single one could overpower him, let alone two joining forces. If they got close, Jia Yan would be lucky to escape.

At this moment, even though he saw how the Chaos Fruit approached, he was prepared to run, because the entrance was too small for him!

But in the next moment, he truly witnessed the underlying strength of the Chaos Fruit to survive in the Foggy Area, surrounded by Strong Ones Three-headed Monsters.

The Chaos Fruit reached the area close by, its duckbill-like mouth fiercely digging in. Its speed was incredibly fast, the duckbill even seemed deformed, morphing into a more suitable shape for digging.

Pu pu pu pu!

The closely-packed rocks within the Foggy Area, formed by countless years of fog and special planetary conditions, which even Jia Yan found hard to handle, were instantly breached by a huge entrance under the scientifically adept digging of the Chaos Fruit’s mouth!

"Caw caw caw caw!" The Chaos Fruit called out loudly, without turning its head, burrowed into the cavern.

The call seemed like a summons, and Jia Yan heard that even after the creature fell into the cave, it continued to dig rapidly.

That speed was not much slower than the flight of a typical Starry Sky Monster!

Watching the hole that the other rapidly opened up wide enough for his own body size, Jia Yan, while admiring the other’s digging ability, rushed over without any hesitation.

Presumably, the Chaos Fruit hadn’t taken into account its own head. Right now, it was solely concerned about its companion.

As Jia Yan charged to the entrance, the two immense Lord Level Three-headed Monsters also timely arrived at the front of this mountain peak. Seeing Jia Yan rushing out, both revealed a look determined to succeed!

Both Monsters burst forth with energy from one of their heads, saliva flying as they eagerly anticipated taking a bite out of this delicious outer-world creature, presumably the most delectable taste.

And at this moment, Jia Yan’s eyes turned icy cold, looking at the two Monsters, as if to imprint their forms into his mind, vowing to return for vengeance one day...

This look caused both Monsters to feel a chill in their frame, but this only intensified their killing intent!

Their collision became even swifter and more ferocious!

Boom!!!!

In the heavens and earth, an explosion of energy equivalent to an atomic bomb erupted into the sky.
