While laughing, she gestured toward the kitchen and started heading into the kitchen with the others. They had to keep an eye on things in there, lest the mother-in-law shrinks the pig’s head meat and beef that the youngest sister-in-law had brought back.

Lu Yiting knew what the sisters-in-law were thinking. Without someone watching, her mother-in-law definitely could pull off hiding things.

Anyway, she didn’t live there now and besides holidays, she wouldn’t come back lightly. Now that she had brought things, her mother-in-law could do whatever she pleased.

After dinner was served, besides the two meat dishes brought by Lu Yiting, there was only a rib soup, and there was barely any meat on the ribs. Kong Cunlai, looking at the dishes on the table, felt somewhat embarrassed, "Didn’t we buy any meat today?"
