Having listened to Luo Qiao, Lu Yichen thought it made sense, "Alright, I’ll have breakfast with you first."

Luo Qiao asked softly, "Who was that girl just now?"

Lu Yichen served a bowl of porridge, "She’s the niece of Chief Xie’s wife from the Household Registration Office next door."

Lu Yichen replied, "Whatever she did, you can go home and ask her. I’m just giving you a heads up beforehand. We’re colleagues, after all, and I don’t want to cause any embarrassment."

After finishing what he had to say, Lu Yichen bid farewell and left Chief Xie’s office.
