Luo Qiao asked, "Where have you been staying these days?"

Xu Shifan replied, "We’re currently living in a dilapidated, collapsed house. Before that, we lived with a friend of my mom’s, but my dad kept causing trouble at their house, and it was too embarrassing for my sister and me to continue staying there."

Luo Qiao sighed and said, "I have an apartment near Capital University. Once your sister can leave the hospital, move there. It’ll be good for you to help me look after the place."

Xu Shifan was moved and looked up at Luo Qiao, "Really? We can’t afford the rent right now."

Luo Qiao said, "No need to pay rent. Just look after the place for me."

Luo Qiao checked the time, took out some money and tickets from her pocket, "Take this for now. I’ll come see you again tomorrow. We can talk more once your sister wakes up."
