[Fatima doesn’t look forced at all. There’s no sign she’s faking a smile to hide an injury either. And she’s holding Chester’s hand because she noticed Chester was gazing at Her Majesty too much. She’s getting jealous.] Renee noted. And she was right.

King Chester’s eyes had lingered on Arabella too much and Queen Fatima held his hand to give a warning she was getting offended. And that it was too blatant that Arabella and the people with her would notice.

[Fatima is already giving a warning. But this Empress, she looks young, fresh, and delicious. My mouth is already watering. I want a taste of her. She’s the most beautiful lady in Eliora indeed.] King Chester had all sorts of lewd thoughts in his mind about what he wanted to do to Arabella.

’Absolutely disgusting.’

It made Arabella want to puke as she picked up King Chester’s lewd thoughts fantasizing about her and him doing all sorts of perverted stuff. He had tastes that Arabella could not stand.

Moreover, how could a man think such lewd thoughts about another woman while holding his wife’s hand?

And Chester was more than twice her age.

Ferdinand was so much older than her as well, but that was a different matter since it was because he was among the long-lived races.

Alwin and Rendell noticed Arabella’s expression and quickly stood in front of her.

"My apologies. I meant no offense. The Empress looked familiar, so I was wondering where I have met her before," King Chester reasoned.

[She truly does look familiar. But would I ever forget meeting such a beauty?]

"She’s the daughter of Queen Ofelia of Lobelius," Queen Fatima filled in for her husband.

’They know my mother?’

[How come he doesn’t remember the woman he had been obsessing about when Evelyn was still alive? Was it because he had been with too many ladies?] Fatima maintained a neutral expression despite what she thought.

’What was that supposed to mean? He was once my mother’s suitor? And isn’t Evelyn his former wife?’

"Ah, I see. No wonder. The resemblance is striking," King Chester slowly nodded his head.

[No wonder, I keep recalling Ofelia after seeing her. She’s even more beautiful than her mother. Ofelia and Edgar’s features blended perfectly with her and made her look even better than her mother. How infuriating. That Edgar has a prettier daughter than mine. Ofelia hadn’t attended the meetings since we arrived so I haven’t seen her. They said she was not feeling well. Fatima didn’t meet her in the meetings of the ladies either. Could it be, she’s still avoiding chances of meeting me even after all these years?]

Arabella realized her mother had a history with these people. She got even more disgusted with Chester for lusting after her right in front of his wife especially when they had a daughter her age.

She knew she was playing double standards, but she simply couldn’t help it. The first time she saw King Chester was from afar when they just arrived, but she already didn’t like him.

It was a gut feeling. She didn’t know why, but she simply couldn’t stand him. Perhaps because he was the kind to lust after every woman he sees. He was eyeing Arabella’s maids next.

King Chester wasn’t making any lewd expressions, but his eyes lingered on Carla who had the biggest bust among Arabella’s maids. Then to Eunice who had quite a prominent collarbone.

[She’s the Dark Emperor’s wife so I can’t have her. But perhaps, I can taste her maids. They are quite attractive as well.]

’This old bastard! He thinks he can just do as he pleases!’ Arabella was getting annoyed at how disrespectful he was.

She had heard that the King of Zygos was quite a womanizer, but she didn’t realize it was to this extent. No wonder Ferdinand didn’t allow her to attend the meetings with this person.

Ferdinand said Chester was a distasteful bastard and he didn’t want Arabella to meet him.

Chester was said to go for any lady regardless of age and even seduce married women. Thus, the other rulers seemed to be wary of Chester and suggested to King Neville that the ladies meet with Fatima only. Thus, Arabella had been attending meetings with the queens.

Despite this, King Chester was said to be a good ruler though, so he remained in power ever since he was crowned.

It was rumored that his womanizing behavior began after his first queen died of an accident. It was said that he still misses his first wife despite marrying Fatima, which was why, he became a womanizer.

Arabella still doesn’t like him though no matter what his reason was for his behavior. Simply looking at him somehow irked her. This was the first time she had this kind of feeling.

[Hmm. This maid, she did not bow to greet us earlier and now she’s glaring at me.]

Arabella was wide-eyed when she recalled Renee.

Renee glared at King Chester as he stared down at her. She should have glanced down since she was of lower status, but Renee kept glaring.

[This bastard! He never changed. He’s still a womanizer even now. He killed me just so he could use me as an excuse to reveal his philandering tendencies?!]

Renee’s eyes were turning red from anger. They were welling up with tears but likewise blazing with emotion.

’If she had died before, could she be like me? I mean, she was a different person before but could she have been reincarnated with her memories of her past life?’ Arabella figured Renee must have been the late Queen Evelyn since King Chester only married twice.

"This, maid, does she have anything against me?" King Chester gestured to Renee.

[She dares glare at a king. Is this maid a princess from one of the kingdoms Valeria conquered? She’s quite prideful to not even bow to me. Well, whatever. I can play with her first and make those defiant eyes beg me.]

King Chester stepped forward and Renee instantly raised both her arms and closed her eyes bracing herself for a beating. Her whole body was trembling.

"My apologies, my maid is not feeling well so we were about to return," Arabella stood in front of Renee to block Chester.
