Duke Olivier then thanked Arabella for showing mercy to his son and not giving him punishment for delaying their journey.

"It’s alright. You were loyal buyers of Lobelius tea so it was the least could do. Demetrius is such an adorable little boy too. He was taught how to control his fire magic and he was learning so quickly."

Arabella then informed the Duke that Dimo’s mana was temporarily stopped from going out of control through a spell.

However, Dimo would need to continue to learn how to control it so it wouldn’t go out of control again once he was back in their dukedom.

Due to this, Arabella learned that Duke Olivier had agreed to be an adviser and guard to the Princess of Loranne because the promised price from the King of Loranne were books about fire magic which Dimo may able to use to learn more about his abilities and control it.

The Duke knew it was magic but could not obtain books about magic so he asked the King of Loranne for help.

The King agreed but only to provide the books since the Duke refused to let Dimo be raised as a magician for Loranne since he was the heir of Olivier.

The Duke knew that magicians were usually excessively overused by nations who acquired them so he didn’t really want Dimo to experience it.

The Kingdom magician in Loranne didn’t actually have the time to train Dimo either due to all his work.

Arabella then offered to let Dimo stay in the Magic Tower to continue learning about magic while the Duke was in Medeus.

In the interim, Dimo and the Duke would meet here at least once or twice a week if the schedule allowed it.

It was to keep Dimo safe while the problem with Sonia and the Head Butler was not yet resolved.

Likewise, it was to allow Dimo to learn as much about fire magic while he was at the Magic Tower. This way, Dimo wouldn’t have had to experience what he did in the past life.

Since he was getting basic education about magic in the Magic Tower, Dimo would also be able to understand the books Duke Olivier would acquire from the King of Loranne.

Ferdinand had thankfully agreed to this so Arabella could offer it.

Duke Olivier wisely agreed knowing full well Dimo was safest with them at the moment. He also knew learning magic from the Mighty Empire of Valeria was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for his son.

"I am very much grateful for all this, Your Majesty," the Duke humbled himself once again.

He was grateful that his son would no longer be branded a dangerous monster once he gained control of his abilities.

"The pleasure is mine. Oh, and please do forgive me for taking action without informing you. We had taken liberties in gathering evidence against your wife since I thought I would have to convince you about the truth. I had my made my husband’s magician gather some proof. I have no more use for them but I believe these might be useful to you."

Arabella gave the Duke a magic orb that had a record of Sonia kissing the Head Butler and heading into a room to be more intimate. There was also a record of the two speaking of the progress of finding Dimo.

Duke Olivier scowled as he heard the two talk about ensuring Dimo died this time so Brent could be the heir.

There was also a record of Dimo when he was not yet healed. It made the Duke grit his teeth in fury to see his son bruised and battered.

The men looking for Dimo were also recorded before they were apprehended. They were the ones who were caught and imprisoned in the Magic Tower. Alwin had done his job well in this matter.

[The Empire is indeed fearsome. They were able to gather all these in such a short time. They were able to enter our residence without getting noticed. I have to ensure that I am on good terms with them. My Dukedom, no, even Loranne wouldn’t stand a chance in case of war.]

Since no one would take care of Brent and Monica if he executed Sonia and the Head Butler, Duke Olivier decided to banish them instead.

The Duke made a merciful decision despite having a heavy heart and feeling so betrayed. He could not bear to make Brent and Monica be parentless since he already loved them as his own.

"Oh, and please do be careful when returning to your Dukedom. Your wife had hired men to eliminate your son. It is not impossible that she do the same for you as well," Arabella warned since she knew from her past life that the Duke was killed as he was returning to Olivier.

It was also one of the reasons she wanted Dimo to remain in the Magic Tower.

In the case Duke Olivier still dies, she would have Dimo raised in Valeria. Dimo could then take back his rightful claim once he was stronger and able to protect himself.

"That’s true. Thank you for reminding me. I will be careful and wary. I won’t allow them to hurt my son any more than they already did," Duke Olivier promised.

The Duke was then led to the guest room where Dimo was sleeping. He sighed in relief to see that his son was indeed well and had no more injuries.

They awakened Dimo and he was ecstatic to finally see his father.
