"It is fine that you are thinking about it; as long as you do not betray me, I will stand by you," she said, and he nodded.

"So, does that mean you are now my girlfriend?" He inquired with a twinkle in his eyes, and she nodded timidly.

"Yes!" He screamed again, drawing the crowd’s attention.

He gave them a sheepish smile before turning to Zhou Mian with love.

Li Qiang was occupied in his office when he heard a knock. He paused what he was doing before pressing a button that opened the door.

The person outside wasted no time before entering. Tang Mei was the person he was most familiar with.

Li Qiang looked perplexed as he stared at the uninvited guest.

"What brought you here?" He asked, and she gave him a slight smile.

"I just wanted to see you; am I not permitted to meet with you?" He shook his head as she slightly pursed her lips.

"Please have a seat," he said to her, and she happily took the seat in front of him.

"You certainly have something to say, which is why you are here, and I apologize for not being able to stay with you yesterday; were you able to get home on time?" He asked simply because she was Tang Mo’s sister.

Tang Mei, on the other hand, responded positively to his question, brightening her eyes.

"I was able to get home on time, after all; the mechanic picked up," she said, and he nodded.

"So, is there anything you would like to discuss?" He inquired as he sensed an uncomfortable atmosphere.

"Nothing, I just wanted to pay you a visit; it is been a long time since I have seen you, and I just want to spend time with you," she replied honestly, and he frowned.

"Why would you like to spend time with me? "I am a very busy person," he noted.

"Just staying with you brings me joy, so let me bask in it, okay?" She replied with a small smile, elegant and poised.

Li Qiang frowned, believing there was more to it than meets the eye. He was very uncomfortable with her and had to get rid of her no matter what.

He had only spoken with her previously because she was Tang’s sister, but he could not do so anymore. Her demeanor was beginning to irritate him.

As a result, he turned to trickery. He unexpectedly picked up his phone. He sent Gao Yang a text message.

Gao Yang, the recipient of the message, let out a helpless sigh.

Knock! There was a knock at the door, so Li Qiang pressed the button again, and Gao Yang stepped inside.

Tang Mei removed her crazed expression and assumed a sweet and gentle demeanor upon seeing Gao Yang.

"Hello, Gao Yang," she said with a cheerful expression that he found disgusting and forced.

He forced the disgust he felt down his throat as he simply said hello to her.

"Good day, Miss Tang. Sorry for disturbing your meeting, but President, you have a meeting right now, and the directors are waiting for you," Gao Yang explained.

"Tang Mei, I am sorry, but I will not be able to keep you company," he said with a regretful smile.

Gao Yang twitched his lips slightly. Why did not the president take an acting class? He was such an expert at it.

"It is fine, it is just a meeting; I will be here when you return," she said with a considerate smile, and the two men thought she was an eyesore.

"Then, if you want to wait, you can do so," Li Qiang said, walking out with Gao Yang behind him.

"It appears I need to speak with Tang Mo and the Tang family; his sister is getting out of control," Li Qiang was furious with Tang Mei’s behavior today.

"But, President, is the punishment you imposed inadequate for her?" Gao Yang exhaled. Tang Mei was going to spend the entire day in the office.

"It is not enough punishment; just take me to the office," Li Qiang sighed.

Gao Yang nodded as they entered a hidden elevator that led to another office.

Nobody in the office knew there was another office reserved solely for Li Qiang.

He incorporated it after joining the company. When he first started at the company, he was surrounded by people who were ready to take everything from him.

To protect his family’s legacy, he could only build another office, and all confidential documents were stored there.

Gao Yang had no previous knowledge of it. He discovered this by chance.

"It is been a while I have been in here; I need the Lius’ documents; they have been messing with my company for a while," Li Qiang instructed as they entered the secret office, leaving Tang Mei to wait.
