He moved back a bit as he looked on listlessly. Li Qiang observed him while deep in thoughts.

"I would like to know about the hideout of the loan sharks, they must have committed numerous crimes, it is best to send them to jail," Li Qiang spoke up, and they all nodded.

"But still, you will still be taken in by the police, they are on their way now," Li Qiang explained, and he nodded heavily. He knew he could not escape it.

His fate was already sealed immediately he stole the money, and was found out.

"I will give you the location," he agreed. There was nothing he could do.

Minutes later, peace was restored in the office. The police had arrived earlier on, and they had taken him away. Manager Feng had accompanied him. He could not stay in the company, not after what he had done. He was ashamed.

"President, don’t you find it funny? Borrowing money just to please his girlfriend, I find it funny," Gao Yang was seated in front of Li Qiang as he said to him.

Li Qiang had an earnest look in his eyes as he listened to his words.

"The loan sharks should also be arrested, I want a refund from them, the high-interest rate is ridiculous," Li Qiang was furious, but he knew how to calm himself.

Some might wonder why Li Qiang was so bothered about the amount of money which was stolen when he was richer than the country combined.

But Li Qiang had always been an organized person. He always loved being accountable to little things which concerned his company.

And presently, he was not accountable for the money stolen, which made him feel uncomfortable. Until the money returned to the company’s account, he could not rest.

"Noted boss," Gao Yang looked at Li Qiang, and on recalling what he was going to do, he felt bad.

But there was nothing he could do, his hands were tied, he wished he could tell him, or could he?

"President, I have something to discuss with you," Gao Yang spoke up, and Li Qiang sensed the seriousness in his voice.

"What is it?" He asked with a frown.

Tang Mei was still bent on planning against Xin Yan.

Presently, she had sneaked out of the house with the help of her spy who was also the guard her father placed to watch over.

She was at a café, she was to meet with someone

She waited for a while, and she was beginning to get irritated by the person’s tardiness.

"Young Miss, why don’t we take our leave? It seems the person is not serious about collaborating with you," the guard whispered to her.

Tang Mei frowned. She also felt the same way, but what could she do? He was the only one who was willing to help her, after all he was the one who reached out to her.

"Let us wait a bit, if he doesn’t show up in twenty minutes, we would take our leave, and I will come up with a plan," Tang Mei tipped her heart, as she whispered to him.

The guard exhaled through his nose. He only wished his Young Miss could see the love he had for her, and stop being hung up on Li Qiang.

But it was wishful thinking. Tang Mei was twisted, and the numerous failures she had faced was what caused her to fall into such a situation.

Tang Mei did not need to wait for too long as the mysterious man arrived.

"Miss Tang, sorry I am late, I was caught up with traffic," the man apologized immediately, improving Tang Mei’s impression of him.

She smiled slightly, tucking her hair behind her ear as she gestured for him to have a seat.

"Why did you reach out to me? How did you even find out? And how did you know about my hatred against Xin Yan?" Tang Mei asked questions after questions.

She found it to be weird. This was also the first time she was meeting with him, she did not know his name, nor his origin.

She also had to admit, he was really handsome, and a friendly demeanor which could attract women to him. If she was not hellbent on Li Qiang, she would have gone for him.

And he seemed to harbor hatred towards the couple. Though she was not sure of his real motive. She could only hope it would be beneficial for her in winning over Li Qiang.

"Relax Miss Tang, we are here at the café, don’t you think it is best for us to have a cup of coffee, I believe it would soothe our parched throats, treat it as my apology," the man smiled at her, and she found herself nodding.

The guard frowned. His Young Miss had taken four cups of coffee. Would the mysterious man act like he was not seeing that cup of coffee.

He observed his Miss who had already agreed, and he felt bad on her behalf.

"That’s good Miss Tang, waiter, two cups of iced Americano," he ordered for them, without asking what she wanted to drink.

And why would he? He could clearly see that there was a cup of coffee on the table, and he knew that would not be the first, but he did not want to go straight to business yet.

Two minutes later, the waiter was back with the coffee as she handed it over to them.

"You seem new, I do not think I have seen you in the city, when did you arrive?" Tang Mei asked.

The man took a sip out of the coffee, and there was a smile hidden.

Tang Mei was smart, in some cases. She could tell what he wanted to do without him saying anything, and he was pleased with it.

"Miss Tang is truly as the rumors said, smart and beautiful," the mysterious man flattered her, and she smiled widely.

Everyone loved compliments and praises, she was not an exception.

"It is just as Miss Tang has guessed, I am not from this city, I just moved here, pardon me, I did not introduce myself, My name is Wu Tang," he introduced with a bright smile.
