Chapter 104: Top luxury skincare

One by one, they went through the remaining offers, with Lixue swiftly deciding which ones to pursue and which to decline. She wasn’t interested in spreading herself thin across too many brands—quality mattered more than quantity.

By the end of the discussion, most of the executives seemed satisfied. But even as they wrapped things up, she could still feel the weight of their unspoken curiosity.

They weren’t done questioning her.

And she wasn’t done keeping them in the dark.

As the meeting wrapped up, Lixue stood, smoothing out her coat as she prepared to leave. But before she could step away, a familiar voice called out to her from the doorway.

"Lixue," Shi Haoyue greeted, stepping inside with a clipboard in hand. His sharp eyes scanned the executives before settling on her. "You’re needed for a quick rundown of your upcoming schedule."

Lixue exhaled lightly. "I’m guessing it’s packed?"

Shi Haoyue smirked. "That would be an understatement."

She followed him out of the meeting room, walking briskly through the hallway. He wasted no time, flipping through his notes as he spoke.

"You’ve got multiple brand endorsements waiting for confirmation—luxury fashion, skincare, and a few high-end jewelry lines," he listed. "Then there’s the variety show appearance we discussed, plus the charity gala at the end of the month."

Lixue hummed in acknowledgment. "Anything else?"

Shi Haoyue gave her a look. "Oh, plenty. There’s also the magazine shoot next week, interviews lined up, and potential film offers that need reviewing." He paused, then added, "And Dream Entertainment wants you to attend a private networking event. You’ll need to make an appearance."

Lixue sighed but nodded. "I expected as much."

As they turned a corner, another figure was waiting by Shi Haoyue’s side—a young woman in business attire, standing with a composed yet slightly nervous posture.

Shi Haoyue gestured toward her. "This is your new assistant, Xu Qian. She’ll be handling your schedule, arrangements, and anything else you need."

Xu Qian gave a polite bow. "It’s an honor to work with you, Miss Lixue. I’ll do my best."

Lixue studied her for a moment, noting her professionalism before giving a small nod. "Welcome. I hope you can keep up."

Xu Qian straightened, her expression determined. "I won’t disappoint."

Shi Haoyue smirked. "Good. Because Lixue’s month is about to get a lot busier."

Lixue arched a brow. "You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?"

Shi Haoyue chuckled. "It’s my job."

Lixue shook her head but didn’t argue. There was no escaping the workload now—she had chosen this path, and she was going to see it through.

"Fine," she said, adjusting her sunglasses. "Let’s get to work."

"Oh and Lixue..you’re the only artist under my now. The CEO had shared the rest to another managers so it’s just going to me, you and Xu Qian.."

Shi Haoyue glanced at his watch before looking back at her. "The day’s still young. We might as well get started."

Lixue gave him a pointed look. "You mean, you want to throw me straight into work before I even have a moment to breathe?"

Shi Haoyue smirked. "Exactly."

Xu Qian, standing attentively beside them, hid a small smile behind her clipboard.

Lixue sighed but didn’t argue. "Where to first?"

"The skincare endorsement," Shi Haoyue said as they walked toward the elevators. "Since it’s a high-profile brand, they want to meet with you in person, finalize the contract, and see where we can align your image with their campaign."

Lixue stepped into the elevator, adjusting her sunglasses. "Alright. Let’s see what they have to offer."

The car was already waiting for them outside, and as they drove through the city, Shi Haoyue continued updating her on the details.

"They’re one of the top luxury skincare brands in the market," he explained. "They’re launching a new line targeted at young elites—exclusivity, elegance, that kind of thing. Your image fits what they’re looking for, and they’re willing to offer a generous deal."

Lixue nodded. "And the contract details?"

"They want a long-term ambassador, not just a one-time collaboration," Shi Haoyue said. "It’ll mean multiple campaigns, events, and a strong association with the brand."

Lixue tapped her fingers against her knee, considering. "That’s a big commitment."

"It is," Shi Haoyue agreed. "But if negotiated right, it could solidify your position in the industry."

Lixue didn’t dislike the idea, but she needed to see what the brand was offering before making a final decision.

By the time they arrived at the company’s headquarters, her expression was calm and composed.

Xu Qian stepped forward, opening the door for her. "We’ve confirmed the meeting. They’re expecting you."

"Madam, would you like to change before we head to the meeting? The brand’s executives will be there, and first impressions are important."

Lixue glanced down at her outfit—sleek, elegant, but not overly formal. It was suitable for meetings within the company but not necessarily for negotiating with a luxury skincare brand.

Shi Haoyue, standing beside her, raised a brow. "She looks fine."

Xu Qian inclined his head respectfully but remained firm. "She does, but this is a high-end beauty brand. Their ambassadors are always styled to reflect the brand’s image. A quick wardrobe adjustment might leave a better impression."

Lixue smirked slightly. "You just want to make sure I look the part?"

"I want to make sure you walk in and they have no choice but to see you as their perfect brand representative," Xu Qian corrected smoothly.

Shi Haoyue sighed, checking his watch. "Fine, but make it quick. We don’t have all day."

Lixue nodded and made her way to the styling department, where a small team was already on standby. They quickly selected an outfit that exuded sophistication—an ivory silk blouse tucked into tailored high-waisted trousers, paired with a structured designer blazer. The look was polished but effortless, exactly the kind of image a luxury skincare brand would want.

A makeup artist lightly touched up her face, enhancing her natural glow without overdoing it. Her hair was styled into a sleek, low chignon, emphasizing her refined elegance.

When Lixue stepped back out, Shi Haoyue gave an approving nod. "That’ll do."

Xu Qian smiled slightly. "Now they won’t just see Y.L. the artist—they’ll see the perfect brand ambassador."

Lixue chuckled as she grabbed her handbag. "Let’s go, then."
