Chapter 292: Chapter 292: Unable to Bear It

Mo Xiaoyu’s heart sank upon hearing his words; she knew unmistakably that Mo Siyu had heard everything.

"Si Yu, let me explain," Mo Xiaoyu instinctively tried to explain.

Mo Siyu grabbed Xie Quan by the collar, his piercing gaze swept over him, his voice was so cold that even in June, it was chilling.

"Xie Quan, what did you tell my uncle and aunt when you got married?" Mo Siyu tightened his grip, and Xie Quan was flung away.

"Ah," Xie Quan fell against the wall and onto the ground.

Xie Quan gritted his teeth in pain.

Wan Wei hurried over, helping Xie Quan to stand as she asked, "Are you alright?"

"I’m fine," Xie Quan instinctively glanced at her belly.

Mo Siyu strode forward, towering over them, much taller than Xie Quan, and even more so compared to Wan Wei, giving him a commanding presence. He said, "Xiao Yu even had Tiantian for you, and for the son not yet born in her belly, you want to divorce Xiao Yu?"

Mo Siyu was tempted to beat Xie Quan, but he knew well that with Mo Xiaoyu’s temperament, if he hit Xie Quan in front of her, she would probably feel distressed.

"For your money, she’s with you, even capable of interfering in someone else’s marriage; aren’t you afraid that one day, for someone else’s money, she’ll leave you?" Tang Yue seized the opportunity to step forward, her gaze falling on Wan Wei, whose physique was visibly more voluptuous compared to Mo Xiaoyu’s well-proportioned figure.

Mo Xiaoyu’s clothes and demeanor were more ladylike.

But Wan Wei was different; even in today’s society, wearing a very low-cut dress, as she helped Xie Quan up, her ample bust pressed tightly against Xie Quan’s arm.

Xie Quan instinctively looked at Wan Wei.

Wan Wei timely showed a pitiful expression, standing firmly by Xie Quan’s side, "Brother Quan, in this life, I’ve only chosen you, it’s not for the money that I’m with you."

"I know," Xie Quan nodded, thinking of how over the years, Wan Wei helped him a lot, both at work and in life. Her gentle words always reached his heart, making him believe that Wan Wei wasn’t the kind of person who would be with someone just for money.

"Xie Quan, my brothers have arrived; you two should leave first. We can talk about this matter later," Mo Xiaoyu said, rushing them off.

Xie Quan looked at Mo Siyu, then took Wan Wei and left together.

Mo Xiaoyu took a deep breath, closed the door, turned around, and her eyes fell on Tang Yue. She asked: "Si Yu, who is this...?"

"My fiancée, Tang Yue." Mo Siyu held Tang Yue’s hand as he introduced her, had her sit down, and said, "Xiao Yu, it’s Xiao Yue going to university in Jing City and I returned to the motor pool, so we specifically took a detour to see you. Would you have kept this hidden if we hadn’t mentioned it?"

Mo Siyu’s gaze intensely settled on Mo Xiaoyu, bluntly giving her no chance to escape.

Mo Xiaoyu moved her lips slightly, nodding: "Yes."

"Xiao Yu, you’re not young anymore; how could you keep such a big matter hidden? Allowing Xie Quan to pressure you with that woman?" Mo Siyu said sternly, unable to imagine what Mo Xiaoyu would have done by herself if he hadn’t brought Xiao Yue along.

Mo Xiaoyu remained silent.

Mo Siyu then asked, "What do you plan to do yourself?"

"Divorce." Mo Xiaoyu looked gentle, but she was very stubborn, proclaiming, "Xie Quan has betrayed our love, I can’t force myself anymore."

"What about Tiantian, and what about the house, the money you both earned, are you ready to just hand it over?" Mo Siyu asked again.

"Tiantian is mine." Mo Xiaoyu became very emotional whenever she mentioned Tiantian.

"How will you support Tiantian on your own?" Mo Siyu coldly questioned.

Mo Xiaoyu bit her lip; tears glistened in her swollen eyes, swirling yet stubbornly refusing to fall.

Tang Yue quietly tugged at Mo Siyu’s hand, saying, "Sister Xiaoyu, why isn’t Tiantian here?"

She changed the subject, there were things to be said, but the way Mo Siyu pushed every question made it hard for her to bear.

Seeing Mo Xiaoyu now reminded her of her past self, only she had been even more foolish, foolish to the point of death without realizing it.

"Tiantian went to school." Mo Xiaoyu relaxed her expression a bit and said, "Xiao Yue, I’m sorry to make you see this as soon as you arrived."

"Sister Xiaoyu, we are family now, saying such things is too formal," Tang Yue warmly stepped forward, took Mo Xiaoyu’s hand, and led her inside under the guise of showing her around. "Sister Xiaoyu, Si Yu’s words might sound harsh. He’s straightforward, but don’t mind him—he’s just concerned and worried about you."

"I know." Mo Xiaoyu nodded with a smile. "Actually, I didn’t expect Si Yu to get engaged so soon. You really seem well-matched. When you two got engaged, I was planning to come back..."

Without Mo Siyu, the conversation between the two women flowed more easily, Mo Xiaoyu choked up several times as she spoke.

Mo Xiaoyu had received a call from her birth mother, Zheng Chunhong, who told her that Mo Siyu was getting engaged. Although Mo Siyu was her younger cousin, they were very close. Mo Xiaoyu wanted to return to see him; this had happened while she was coming to pick up the child and she went to find Xie Quan.

She went happily, but stumbled upon Xie Quan and Wan Wei together, naked, and felt that her world was collapsing.

In the days that followed, Mo Xiaoyu learned that Xie Quan and Wan Wei had been together not just briefly but for several years. Mo Xiaoyu was heartbroken, and as of today, with Wan Wei pregnant, Xie Quan was urging her to divorce.

Mo Xiaoyu hadn’t expected that Mo Siyu would arrive at such a time.

Her own mind was a tangled mess, unsure of what to do.

"Sister Xiaoyu, do you really not want to stay with Xie Quan?" Tang Yue asked again.

Mo Xiaoyu firmly said, "No."

"What about the child?" Tang Yue asked again.

Without hesitation, Mo Xiaoyu responded, "Tiantian must stay with me."

"Hmm, Sister Xiaoyu, is this house bought together by you and your husband?" Tang Yue looked around the house, noting the two bedrooms, one living room, a kitchen, and no separate washroom. The house wasn’t big, but it was quite sufficient for now.

"Yes." Mo Xiaoyu answered.

Tang Yue suggested, "Sister Xiaoyu, I think you can talk to Xie Quan. Split all the savings, the house, and the factory money in half. Also, have Xie Quan pay child support monthly. With that money, whether you decide to go back or settle in Sea City, it will be enough for you and your daughter to live on."
