Chapter 251: Chapter 251: How Will You Make It Up to Me? (Update 4)
During the training, Mo Siyu was absent-minded, and by the afternoon, he just sat at the entrance of the motorcade, refusing to move an inch; if it weren’t for later matters, I’m afraid Mo Siyu would still be waiting here.
Tang Yue returned to the motorcade feeling guilty. As soon as she got off the car, she saw Li Wei running towards her: "Little sister-in-law, you’re finally back."
Li Wei had been standing in the sun all day long; if little sister-in-law hadn’t returned, he would have been burnt to a crisp.
"You, why have you gotten so burnt?" Tang Yue saw Li Wei’s face was red and swollen, his entire posture listless, and she couldn’t help saying: "The sun is scorching, do you want to drink some mung bean soup? What would you do if you got heatstroke?"
"It’s okay, little sister-in-law, you should go check on Brother Mo," Li Wei cleared his throat, saying, "Brother Mo is very angry because you left the motorcade."
"Uh..." Hearing Li Wei’s incessant talk, Tang Yue was moved, especially when she learned that Mo Siyu had been sitting here the whole time at noon for a whole two hours.
It’s summer now, the sun is at its fiercest, and he is a patient; sitting here for two hours, could he get heatstroke?
It’s all her fault, she was too willful.
After asking Li Wei for the location, Tang Yue hurriedly sprinted over. In the office, Mo Siyu was on the phone, his face serious but unable to hide the sunburnt reddish-black of his face.
His face was already tanned a lot, and now it was still red, emitting an abnormal flush.
After he hung up the phone, Tang Yue immediately rushed in; she reached for his forehead – it was frighteningly hot, and she said worriedly, "This is not good; you have a fever."
"It’s nothing," Mo Siyu replied coldly.
Tang Yue stood in front of him, like a student who had made a mistake, head bowed, and blamed herself, "I’m sorry, I was wrong."
"Wrong about what?" Mo Siyu raised an eyebrow; God knows how he managed to suppress his inner worry to work. The moment he saw her at the door, that phone call he received earlier, he almost forgot to respond.
Seeing her momentary joy, it was instantly filled with anger.
Jing City is not the same as the small Wangjiang County; if she got lost, if she got intercepted by bad people, just the thought of these possibilities sent Mo Siyu into extreme anxiety.
"I...shouldn’t have left without telling you," Tang Yue answered cautiously, adding meekly, "I left you a note."
"Come here," Mo Siyu said with a stern face.
Tang Yue shuffled over in small steps, knowing she was in the wrong. She quickly glanced outside, no one was there; her tone softened, pitifully pleading, "Si Yu, I promise, there won’t be a next time. If I go out again, I will definitely tell you."
Before, she had always called him by his full name, Mo Siyu; this time, she dropped the surname and, coupled with the deliberately gentle softness of her voice, tender and sticky, and her pitiful look, incredibly enticing.
The stern look on Mo Siyu’s face almost broke into a laugh; if Tang Yue had looked closely, she would have seen the corners of Mo Siyu’s lips slightly uplifted, even the anger in his eyes dissipated a lot.
With a long arm, Mo Siyu pulled Tang Yue towards him, dragging and pulling, and he heavily patted her twice on the body.
He was already running a fever, his hands radiating intense heat, further accentuated by the summer air, and her trousers being so thin, his slaps gave her a fiery sensation.
"Ah..." Tang Yue screamed, unsure if she was more embarrassed or angry.
"If there’s a next time, I’ll tie you to the bed and not let you leave the house," Mo Siyu warned, lowering his voice.
Tang Yue’s cheeks blushed even redder than the feverish Mo Siyu, and she suddenly stood up.
Mo Siyu held her hand and drew her into his embrace; with his other arm around her waist, he seated her on his lap.
"Let me go," Tang Yue wanted to find a crack to crawl into, being so grown up, plus with her age in her past life, she was decades older, yet she was still spanked... and by Mo Siyu at that, which made it difficult for Tang Yue to accept. Her eyes reddened, and in her haste, she forgot about Mo Siyu’s leg injury.
"I won’t let go." Mo Siyu dominantly held her tight in his arms, unyielding to Tang Yue’s struggles.
Mo Siyu inhaled the faint fragrance of her body, his deep voice resounded in her ear: "What if something happened to you, leaving me alone? What then?"
The last sentence, muttered as if to himself, carried a strength that seemed to be seeking to meld her entirely into his bones.
Tang Yue’s struggling ceased in an instant, realizing his anger, his discipline, stemmed from a deep fear in his heart—the fear of losing her.
With that thought, Tang Yue’s prior humiliation and irritation instantly transformed into sympathy, and she apologized, "I’m sorry, I didn’t know..."
Had she known it would worry him so, she wouldn’t have acted petulantly.
"The punishment is over, shouldn’t you compensate me now?"
Mo Siyu slightly distanced them, their eyes met; their faces were only a fist’s distance apart, her slightly reddened eyes, her sympathy, all clearly visible to him.
"How should I compensate you?" Tang Yue looked at Mo Siyu, puzzled.
Mo Siyu’s eyes flickered, his gaze fell on her delicate lips, and his scorching lips pressed against hers.
Tang Yue’s pupils contracted instantly, feeling the heat on her lips, her heart as if riding a roller coaster reaching its peak, leaving her breathless.
Her heart pounded like thunder, her body electrocuted, she forgot where she was, she forgot everything around her, her mind filled with only the comfortable scent of him, gradually permeating her senses, inching into her heart, marking it as his.
His kiss, tender yet assertive, sweeping over her, his hand cradling her head, leaving her no chance to retreat.
Her response only encouraged him further, until finally, breathless, she gasped for air, her face flushed, lips moistened and shining with a pink luster, her almond eyes as if washed clean, bright and clear, with a hint of shyness.
"Xiao Yue, when will you marry me?" Mo Siyu spoke sentimentally, pulling her back into his embrace. This kiss bridged the distance between them, and also made Mo Siyu acutely aware that he only had feelings for the woman in his arms, his heart beating solely for her.
Tang Yue felt uneasy, trying to shift her position, but upon touching his rigidness, she dared not move a muscle, remaining still in his arms, internally shocked. She never knew that kissing could feel so profoundly wonderful.
