Chapter 151: Chapter 151: Enjoying Adversities (Fourth Update)
Qin Huai’an looked at him and said, "You made me run to a godforsaken village, and then..."
"I had you go there, and then I sent someone else to a nearby village, just wanting to liven up the place a bit. The place you went to was a bit further away."
Qin Huai’an: ...
Brother Mo, is that just a bit far?
That’s the furthest place from the village. The distance he ran was like running from the village to the city.
Qin Huai’an almost wanted to cry without tears. He thought that if he saw the little sister-in-law again, he would have to stay a bit further away from her; otherwise, if Brother Mo held a grudge against him, he’d have nowhere to cry.
*
Qin Huai’an insisted on taking Mo Siyu to Jiang City after discovering that his wound had reopened, to get the dressing changed before sending him back to Wangjiang County.
When they arrived in Wangjiang County, it was already the afternoon. Mo Siyu returned to the hospital, where his wound had been treated in Jiang City. The doctors and nurses were relieved to see him safely back.
However, when they were about to change his dressing, they were shocked to see his newly applied gauze and exclaimed, "Mo Siyu, if your wound keeps reopening, it’s very bad for recovery."
Mo Siyu glanced at her and said nothing.
Mo Xiaolin, upon learning that her son had returned, hurried to the hospital to visit him. She asked with concern, "Si Yu, how can you still work when you’re injured? Are you alright? Did you get hurt again?"
Mo Xiaolin pulled Mo Siding over to check for any new injuries and was relieved to find none.
Last night, Mo Xiaolin was extremely worried when she was trying to sleep, fearing that Mo Siyu might encounter danger while he was out.
"Mom, I just used my brain this time, how could I get hurt?" Mo Siyu had barely slept last night and had dark circles under his eyes. He said, "I’m just a bit tired, a good sleep will do."
Mo Xiaolin was heartbroken for her son and urged him to go to bed early to rest.
Mo Xiaolin specially prepared a nutritious and delicious meal to take to the hospital in the evening. The room lights were off, and Si Yu was sleeping in bed, so she didn’t have the heart to wake him. The good lunch box she had bought, combined with the summer heat, meant that if he slept a bit longer and ate after waking up, it would be just as well.

The next day at noon, after completing rehabilitation, Mo Siyu had his cast removed and could barely use a bit of strength on his foot. The wound on his body, although it had reopened yesterday, would be fine with some more rest and recuperation.
That day, Tang Yue didn’t refuse Tang Mingli’s request and directly brought food over. Yesterday, Mo Siyu had been out on business and she had been anxious all day. She wouldn’t feel at ease until she saw Mo Siyu safe and sound today.
Seeing Mo Siyu lying in bed in the hospital room, her heart that was hanging in suspense finally settled down.
"Uncle Mo."
Tang Yue had become used to this address, and it seemed uncomfortable to change it now.
With a smile on her lips and seeing him safe and sound, her steps grew lighter. She familiarly placed the food next to the hospital bed and, seeing his cast removed, asked excitedly, "How is your leg recovering?"
"Pretty good." Mo Siyu, smelling the fragrance of the food and looking at the delicious meal, felt his stomach playing the Empty Fort Strategy.
He had eaten lunch in the city yesterday, and in the evening, Mo Xiaolin had made the meal. However, having gotten used to the meals prepared by Tang Yue, he felt the food made by others seemed to taste all the same.
However, Tang Yue’s meals always brought him a sense of joy deep within.
Mo Siyu never failed to finish every meal Tang Yue delivered, leaving not a single morsel.
Tang Yue secretively observed Mo Siyu, relieved to find no new injuries on his body.
"Worried about me getting into trouble?" The corners of Mo Siyu’s mouth quirked up ever so slightly; her concern had unexpectedly lifted his spirits.
Pressing her lips together, Tang Yue said, "Uncle Mo, you’re a patient now. I don’t know what Mr. Qin asked you to do, but it certainly wasn’t something easy. Don’t you care about your life?"
"My life is for marrying you; how could I just throw it away?" Mo Siyu arched an eyebrow, always dropping his stern façade unconsciously around Tang Yue.
"..."
Deciding to change the subject, Tang Yue asked, "Uncle Mo, Aunt Mo, she..."
"You call me uncle and her aunt?" Catching the slip in her words, Mo Siyu corrected her: "Even though she looks young, she’s still my mom. Hm, why don’t you get used to it ahead of time and just call her mom?"
Tang Yue’s cheeks flamed red. Perhaps she had grown too accustomed to this side of Mo Siyu, as her initial reverence for him had considerably diminished. She argued, "By seniority, I should call Aunt Mo ’Granny Mo,’ but isn’t calling her Granny going to make her sound old? What if I just call you Brother Mo from now on?"
"Hm, in that case, wouldn’t you have to call my little uncle ’uncle’?" Tang Yue’s bright almond eyes shone with craftiness and playfulness as she looked at Mo Siyu: "Brother Mo, I think it even sounds better than Uncle Mo."
"Not bad," Mo Siyu’s eyes gleamed, apparently quite pleased with the nickname.
"Clicking her tongue, Tang Yue giggled to herself, imagining if Uncle Mo knew about this, he might even compliment her.
Her smile was brighter than the peach blossoms in March, adding an extra charm.
Mo Siyu watched her smirk, a touch of fondness in his eyes, and said, "Don’t worry, even if you call me Brother Mo and make me call him uncle, I’d do it willingly, as sweet as honey."
Mo Siyu looked at her meaningfully.
Tang Yue froze, her smile becoming fixed on her face, still unclear as to what was happening.
Mo Siyu spoke in a low voice, "If I marry you, calling him ’uncle’ would be as sweet as honey."
Tang Yue: ...
He really couldn’t stop talking about marriage. Couldn’t he think of anything else?

"Xiao Yue, what’s going on?"
Tang Mingli was discussing factory matters with Tang Yue, who had been distracted many times already.
"Xiao Yue."
Tang Mingli waved his hand in front of her face.
"Ah, Uncle, what did you say?" Tang Yue apologised, looking at Tang Mingli with embarrassment as she brushed her bangs off her forehead, "Uncle, I was just thinking about hiring staff and didn’t hear you."
"You’ve missed what I said several times." Tang Mingli murmured to himself, then repeated his discussion with Tang Yue, detailing how they painted the factory interior and exterior white, and fixed the leaking roof spots.
"I plan to build another storage room, further away from the work area but closer to where people live," Tang Mingli explained. The factory might be large, but it wasn’t originally a clothing factory, and many areas couldn’t be expected to be perfect.
