Chapter 567: Chapter 547: The Elementary Student Wielding a Stick?
"You’re right," Qin Nuan heartily agreed with Luo Qianqian’s statement, but still handed Luo Yanran a piece of tissue to wipe his sweat.
"I was just asking where you guys were, who knew she’d run off at the sight of me." Luo Yanran’s voice carried a hint of grievance, instantly evoking sympathy from Qin Nuan.
Cong Rong was speechless, if you weren’t dressed so oddly, more normal, would she run?
"If you’re going to scare people, don’t look for other excuses. When you go out, don’t say you’re my brother; it’s too embarrassing." Luo Qianqian turned her face away, although she could recognize him at a glance, that didn’t mean anyone wouldn’t be scared off if approached by such a person on the street, right?
On such a hot day, all in black, wearing a black trench coat, how could he look anything but untrustworthy, right?
Luo Yanran, lost for words, said, "Isn’t this because I was planning to take you guys to change clothes? Plus, wearing a short sleeve and having your face so fully covered would arouse more suspicion, you know?"
"You’re not afraid of getting heat rash." Luo Qianqian rolled her eyes, then seized on the key point: "Change into what clothes?"
"Wasn’t it supposed to be a costume party? Don’t we need to change clothes? I even specifically asked Brother Sun for the address," Luo Yanran said with an air of self-evidence, "Heard they have the costume of the elementary school kid you like who swings the stick around."
"Huh? What elementary school kid with a swinging stick?" Luo Qianqian looked toward Luo Yanran, puzzled. When did she start liking weird stuff like that?
"Why an elementary school student?" Qin Nuan didn’t quite understand.
Cong Rong frowned and thought for a moment, "Aren’t you talking about Cardcaptor Sakura?"
"Right, right, right, that one, the name is so hard to remember, the one we watched together during the vacation, spin, spin, spin, and turned into a big stick!" Luo Yanran nodded vigorously.
Luo Qianqian and Qin Nuan were both utterly baffled, and then looked at Cong Rong with admiring eyes, "How did you guess that? I can’t make any connection at all, you know?"
"I guessed..." Cong Rong grimaced, she was about to guess something like baseball or fencing.
"That should be called cosplay, right? How did it become a costume party?" Qin Nuan pursed her lips, what kind of misunderstanding did Luo Yanran have about costume parties?
"As long as you’re happy," Luo Qianqian glanced at Luo Yanran, then watched, dumbfounded, as he pulled down his mask and gulped down her milk tea.
Well, there was no helping it, Qin Nuan’s had already been drunk by Cong Rong, he only snatched it after seeing Luo Qianqian lifting the cup.
"Qianqian has grown up, become sensible, Fourth Brother is very happy," Luo Yanran licked his lips, his face full of contentment.
Qin Nuan turned her head away, was that what he meant by his words? But right now, it’s normal for others not to understand, probably only the two of them get it, right?
"Let’s go, let’s go, I just need a dress that can fit my pouch, need a beautiful little cape... Hey? I want to cosplay as Little Red Riding Hood." Luo Qianqian looked dead serious, eliciting speechlessness from Qin Nuan.
What on earth do you siblings think cosplay is? Why not say cosplay a goblin? Or cosplay a broom?
But apparently, in the future, everything from Brain Platinum packaging, pouch eggs, to even a balloon figure swaying in the wind will be cosplayed, so this... is nothing...
Luo Yanran didn’t drive, and the group simply took a taxi to leave.
Xi Ming and Elvis sat in a car, watching the vehicle ahead, Xi Ming’s voice was very calm, "Did you tell that person?"
"I’ve mentioned it to him before, but he said there wouldn’t be any problems, let her make a fuss, as long as she’s happy; that’s how kids should be," Elvis sighed softly, "Sometimes I wonder if they’re living too carefree. But when troubles come, I do wish they could live their whole lives in peace."
"What kind of mentality is that?" Xi Ming couldn’t help but laugh, "But the Luo Family really did raise them to be happy. Hope to always see them like this."
"Luo Yanran is okay, you can’t see her in person but just switch on the TV and there she is. As for her, who knows what she’s thinking." Elvis chuckled bitterly, "Right, about the Wei Family’s wedding on the 11th... "
"Don’t even mention it, I’m the best man," Xi Ming said with a helpless look, "They said I fit the image of a best man and that the bridesmaid is a very pretty girl, so I agreed without thinking. Guess who the bridesmaid is."
"I’m asking you exactly because I know who she is." Elvis’s face bore a strange expression, "Take care of yourself."
"Hey, hey, hey, don’t tell me those two will come up with some bizarre problems to trouble us? Besides, it’s not my wedding, why the rush? Take care of what?" At first, Xi Ming was all tense, but then he relaxed. He was the best man only because Wild Wolf and his group couldn’t all appear at the same event; they would celebrate separately, that was it.
The other best man was undoubtedly Wei Ming.
"Some things are not to be revealed," said Elvis, blinking as he saw the car in front stop and quickly asked Xi Ming to pay the fare before getting out first.
Looking at the studio, Luo Qianqian was at a loss for words; the place was a regular photo studio, okay? The only difference might be that they had extra wigs.
"Oh my gosh, this one’s pretty," Luo Qianqian pressed her face against the glass, eyeing the clothes on the plastic mannequin, almost drooling.
Luo Yanran was smug, "See, I told you kids would like it."
"But we’re not kids," Qin Nuan pinched Luo Yanran’s waist fiercely, yet her eyes sparkled with curiosity, she hadn’t tried it yet.
By the time this trend had caught on, she was already a married woman, required to act with dignity everywhere.
"Nuannuan, it would be great if Nuannuan were here now, those clothes, tsk tsk," Luo Qianqian pulled Qin Nuan into the shop.
It was a statement no one but Qin Nuan understood when spoken out loud.
Looking at the variety of clothes in the shop, Qin Nuan’s eyes widened in amazement, "Qianqian, look, there’s even a sword!"
Luo Qianqian reached out with a small hand to touch it, then exclaimed in surprise, "It’s real!"
"Haha, the young lady must be joking. Where would our little shop get so many real ones? If they were all real, wouldn’t one accident cost me my life, and that still wouldn’t be enough to pay for it?" A voice came through. Luo Qianqian looked up to see a tall man with golden wire-rimmed glasses, his hair tied in a low ponytail behind his head, with attractive eyes not typical for an Asian, a moss green color, dressed in a black tailcoat, emanating the imposing air of a noble, giving the impression that he was of aristocracy.
"So handsome," Luo Qianqian’s eyes widened, then she quickly shook her head, "No, no, no, how can I call him uncle? It should be brother."
"The young lady is quite the speaker. But I’m almost thirty, so being an uncle should be fine."
Luo Yanran frowned, "The Gold Card stylist, Louis..."
"Shh," the man winked at Luo Yanran, "Just call me Handsome Uncle."
Luo Yanran was speechless; after all, he was already twenty, how could he call someone not much older ’uncle’?
Hearing Luo Yanran, Luo Qianqian understood what was going on and stepped beside him, "Brother can also be called Handsome Teacher, right, right?"
