Chapter 548: 528

However, she didn’t have the leisure to study how others communicated; she had classes to attend.

Hurriedly washing up, she looked at Qin Nuan who had already packed and was holding her bag with a puzzled expression, "Nuannuan, did you take the wrong bag?"

"No, I don’t have classes in the morning. I’ll go to the cafeteria first and then bring it to you," Qin Nuan said calmly as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

Luo Qianqian felt a wave of despair. Was she a primary student? Did she really need to be dropped off and picked up? This totally felt like reverting back to kindergarten days.

But she didn’t refuse since she needed to have breakfast as well.

After buying a box of milk and a piece of bread at the supermarket, Luo Qianqian stuffed everything into her bag. While walking, she looked at Qin Nuan who was holding a bunch of food: "Are you planning to feed a pig?"

"I also have Cong Rong to worry about. Tell me before your noon class ends and I’ll come pick you up." At the entrance of the teaching building, Qin Nuan didn’t forget to remind her. Luo Qianqian’s face showed her touch, "Understood, it always feels like you’re treating me as a three-year-old child."

Qin Nuan waved goodbye and watched Luo Qianqian enter the teaching building before she left; she had no interest whatsoever in sitting in on Luo Qianqian’s classes.

No sooner had Luo Qianqian arrived at the classroom than she saw Elvis waving at her: "Here."

Luo Qianqian had planned to sit at the back to sneak in her breakfast, but who knew Elvis would arrive earlier than her and even save her a seat. She felt too embarrassed to refuse and obediently sat down. Then, she took out her milk and bread, only to see a box of six egg tarts being offered to her, along with Elvis’s beaming smile.

Luo Qianqian was just about to shake her head when Elvis casually grabbed one and handed it to her, then stuffed one into his own mouth and winked at her, signaling it was all good.

Luo Qianqian couldn’t help but feel helpless, "How early did you get up to buy these?" Her hand casually took one, ignoring the order of things since she still had a psychological shadow from the soy milk incident.

"I bought them while on my morning jog," Elvis laughed. "I know about your worries; rest assured, if anything goes wrong, you can blame it on me."

Luo Qianqian paused and then obediently lowered her head to eat the egg tart.

Elvis chuckled quietly and said, "Did Han Chen give you any trouble?"

Luo Qianqian shook her head, then quickly turned back to look at a girl with very serious eyes.

Following her gaze, Elvis saw the girl sitting together with others and frowned, "What’s wrong?"

Luo Qianqian shook her head and whispered softly, as if she were just leaning down to eat, "Last night, on our way back to school, we saw Han Chen with a girl, on a date."

"He was on a date?" Elvis’s face showed disbelief. Wasn’t Han Chen the one who always claimed he wouldn’t date unless it was true love?

"Are you sure?" Although he found it hard to believe, he couldn’t question it since it was Luo Qianqian who mentioned it, so he asked again as if to confirm.

Luo Qianqian nodded emphatically: "They were kissing and hugging."

Elvis’s expression twitched slightly. Don’t you know there’s something called flirting?

Nevertheless, he nodded, and while appearing to look at the scenery outside the window, his gaze stole towards the direction of Luo Qianqian. However, the corner of his eyes lingered on the pile of girls, his gaze filled with solemnity. To think that someone under his nose was capable of planting a pawn behind his back.

Surely, a key figure cultivated by the Han Family.

"Eat up, class is about to start." After observing for a while, Elvis turned back only to see Luo Qianqian looking at him in amazement, her egg tart barely touched: "What’s wrong?"

"Was your Mandarin graced by a deity? Or did you pay homage to some immortal or Buddha statue? How come it’s so authentic all of a sudden?" Luo Qianqian suddenly recalled that his language skills were sometimes normal but occasionally strange.

Elvis’s face was covered in gloom. Was this even a question?

"Yes, I worshiped Confucius," Elvis said, dead serious.

Luo Qianqian nodded thoughtfully, eating and drinking. After finishing the meal, class started quite quickly.

There was nothing special about the class itself, except the homework was a bit tricky, but it wasn’t due until next week, so there was no rush.

The second lesson was Yue Xiluo’s, and Luo Qianqian and Elvis calmly took their seats. Then they watched as the crowd that had gathered at the back rapidly shifted to the front row in a hive-like movement, leaving them baffled: "What happened? Did someone fart at the back?"

Elvis was stunned for a moment, then burst out laughing, "You weren’t in class yesterday, so you don’t know. After all, a handsome uncle is quite popular, especially one who is talented, good-looking, tall, and rich."

"What’s going on?" Luo Qianqian was still confused.

Elvis blinked, "You’ll see in a minute."

Just as the voice faded, someone entered through the door. Luo Qianqian glanced up and could tell it was Yue Xiluo from his facial features, but what was with the outfit? Was it too fashionable? Had he attended some fashion festival or a fashion show?

Upon closer inspection even the watch on his wrist seemed to be of great value.

"Did our teacher hit the lottery jackpot?" Luo Qianqian blinked.

Elvis nearly choked on his own saliva, lottery jackpot indeed...

Then they watched as Yue Xiluo noticed the surprise in Luo Qianqian’s eyes and walked over to her, "How do you feel?" His voice wasn’t any different, but Luo Qianqian clearly sensed a fresh scent, unlike any men’s perfume.

"Great, I just had a box of egg tarts." Luo Qianqian grinned and then felt the stares from behind her heating her ears.

"That’s good."

She turned hesitantly, then saw that every gaze, whether from boys or girls, was fixated on Yue Xiluo. Even the back seats were packed, which was surprising. Turning back, Yue Xiluo had already returned to the blackboard.

In a low voice, Luo Qianqian asked Elvis, "Is this class really that popular?"

Elvis rolled his eyes. Were you blind, Luo Qianqian? Couldn’t you see they were all here for Yue Xiluo?

"It’s the teacher who is popular."

"No matter how popular, isn’t he still an uncle? Old enough to be someone’s dad," Luo Qianqian scoffed, completely oblivious to the weird expression that appeared on Elvis’s face after she spoke.

"So, what kind of guy do you like?" Elvis asked casually.

"Good-looking ones." Luo Qianqian smiled, not elaborating, since Elvis wasn’t someone she was particularly close with.

"A world that looks at faces," Elvis shook his head, then turned to face Luo Qianqian with a serious expression, "Am I good-looking?"

"You should be alright," Luo Qianqian blinked. "Blond hair, blue eyes, handsome guys should be popular, should be good-looking. After all, I can’t really tell foreigners apart unless there’s a significant difference in body shape or appearance, so I still prefer black-haired ones."

Elvis was taken aback. His hair was indeed blond, but his eyes were actually violet. Others said this color was a gift from the heavens, so how did it turn into a description like "blond hair, blue eyes" when it came from Luo Qianqian’s mouth?
