Re-Awakening with the Summoner's Class -
Chapter 61: Class Tree
Chapter 61: Class Tree
<It all began when the Tower appeared....>
Leo rolled his eyes before saying.
’You can save the long story for when we are out of this gate, just give me a summary.’
Cien was taken aback by his lack of care or interest in the story he was about to tell, but he obliged as he realized there were more important matters at hand.
<Me and Biel balanced each other now because she disappeared, your heart is overwhelmed by my emotions>
That was at least an answer, although he did want one more information related to it.
Both he and Gloppy began to walk back toward their party, limping a bit due to Pulsar’s attack.
’And how do keep those emotions in check?’
<I don’t know, it never happened before>
The summoner sighed as he read that, it was to be expected, yet he was still disappointed.
During their walk back, they didn’t talk to each other. He felt like the bridge between him and his Warlord collapsed in an instant.
"I’m sorry for that outburst..."
The slime did not answer; he just walked silently, but the aura surrounding him told a different story.
Leo tried to put his hand on the slime’s shoulder, which finally got a reaction out of him, however not one that he wanted.
"Just what has gotten into you!"
Gloppy screamed, clearly shaken by the inhumane way Leo fought earlier.
"I understand that we might go overboard sometimes, but that was. Way. Too. Far!"
The slime’s body began to shift to more of a red hue as he got angrier through his words.
"And I don’t think you understand just how reckless all of that was! What if you had died?"
Leo didn’t have an answer to that, saying that he was under the influence of something inside him felt more like an excuse rather than a logical explanation.
Thus he decided to take the verbal beating, understanding what his summon must have felt.
After all, if the summoner died, all of his summons would follow with him.
"I might not care too much, but think about the others..."
He scoffed while whispering that, making sure that it was loud enough for Leo to hear before continuing to walk.
Those words made Leo just fully stop, To think that his actions so far have been so reckless that Gloppy would say such a thing.
Slap slap
He hit both of his cheeks with the palms of his hands to get himself back in the right thinking space.
"I’m sorry! I promise to take better care of myself!"
Gloppy stopped for a moment, before going back forward.
’Crap... it didn’t work after all...’
[Relationship increased with Warlord: Gloppy]
As that message appeared, his sad expression turned into one filled with joy as he looked up at his slime friend.
"Wait for me!"

Remains of the abandoned lab were scattered everywhere, cracks began to appear on the final vat.
Doctor Nebula looked while laughing loudly, his eyes twitching as the bags under them tried to force them to close.
Another cup of coffee was thrown beside the table by which he worked as not for a moment did his eyes move away from the thing in front of him.
More cracks kept appearing as the experiment was finally reaching the point.
A small bar next to the vat read ’96,82%’ and was rapidly going up.
All of a sudden it stopped at 97%.
One final crack through the middle split the vat in two.
The entirety of the lab exploded as whatever was inside fell out.
From the smoke of the explosion, a hand fully coated in the liquid emerged.
With a light tap to the ground below it, the whole lab shook again, almost as violently as the first time, as the thing inside tried to stand up.
"What do you mean 97%!? There is no way they killed that damn Kobold already!"
A small trial of white enveloped the figure’s wrist.

"Look they are coming back!"
Nyssa shouted while hiding Gideon back in her inventory, the Kobold’s dead body beaten to the pulp laid under her.
"I see all of you were taking the stress out?"
Leo joked as he approached the group of people, to his surprise though, it seemed that it was exactly what they were doing.
Amelia, who was still shaken by the whole ordeal kept kicking the corpse while screaming and cursing.
"You stuphid shon of a bhitch! I hope you whill rhot in hell with all of ehm!"
The length to which she went was so far that even Ruby tried to stop her.
Behind the group, all of the fallen soldiers were organized in a way that would make it easier to transport, however, no one had any more energy.
"Just go rest, my scout will come back soon with information if this made the gate open from the inside."
Adam said while sitting on the ground, the heavy toll of helping his wounded team mentally exhausted him.
"Before you relax, I have a question, a very important one at that."
With a strong step towards the knight, Leo inquired.
"How did those two people end up in your party?"
In his head there was a clear answer that would explain it since they didn’t seem to be friends, however, he needed to ask just to be sure.
"They must have killed some of our party members... we even made sure that the clothes they were belonged to our Climbers."
Leo nodded in understanding and left the man to grief for the fallen.
As the knight was drifting off to sleep, one of his scouts ran up to them.
"The gate! It opened! We can leave!!!"
All of them looked at him, in an instant, all of their sore muscles felt like they were fully energized as different things pushed them forward.
’I want to leave this hell!’
’I whould khill for a bath!!!’
’I’m starving...’
[Sapphire, Emerald. Tell everyone to rush in with as many people as they can, the gate is beaten.]
They began to pack their things and waited for the backup.
Once it arrived, the critically wounded were rushed out of the gate to the closest hospital, and the dead bodies were collected to be buried, this included the two piles by the entrance.
"It’s been a hell of a gate, I gotta say."
The summoner chuckled as they were getting closer to the exit. This got a few laughs from the rest of the party.
"I just wish Heins and Trevor could see it..."
And the slight cheers went back to tears.
