Cien split into two smaller groups of ooze, each going to a different hand and enveloping the fingers like a ring.

Both of them flexed their muscles and struck the core. Right as the attacks landed, the entire Ice Giant trembled and realized what was going on.

"We need to be quick or it will stop us."

Rapidly, the hollow terrain began to close up with ice as the creature tried to protect itself from their attack.

Without stopping, they repeatedly struck it, the cracks getting bigger with each strike until with a final one...

The cold shell of the core opened itself, revealing a tiny white spark inside.

"That’s the heart, grab it!"

Gloppy jumped and grabbed it, the intensity of the cold freezing his hand in an instant and causing it to fall to the ground.

He forced more slime to come out and did his best to take it away from its shell.

"What now?"

Urgency could be heard in his voice as he said that, the ooze was coming out slower as he spent most of it in such a short time to coat the spark.

Leo opened his Inventory and pushed Gloppy’s hand into it.

Right away, the entirety of the cold air disappeared and the monster began to melt.

Now without the support of the Spark of Cold, the ice couldn’t handle the corrupting energy of the Seal and began to shatter.

But there was a problem.

"How will we get down?"

Gloppy looked while asking, and when he saw that Leo didn’t have any plan he began to panic.

They were around 100 meters above the ground right now so dropping down and hoping that the Hermit Turtle style would save them was a stretch.

During their flight downward, they could see the Ice Giant shattering completely, in its last moments it tried to cry out for help, holding its hand upward like a drowning person.

However, there was no saving for it as it disappeared, turning into water.

Trevor ran up to them as they reached the ground, patting Leo and Gloppy on the shoulders with a wide smile on his face.

The Fearmonger was using her Hellwings to scout the area for where the Seal would land and Amelia was preparing a Magic Nullification spell.

"Gloppy, you are running outside to help them right away."

He nodded, understanding that something had to be going very wrong outside for the three gems not to answer at all.

While he waited for the answer, the rest of the party went to destroy the crystal.

Cien moved around his body trying to strike up a small talk to make him a bit more relaxed.

’Only a bit.’

His bluff didn’t work as it was way too easy to tell what he really felt. Both of his arms and legs were trembling as he was scared of the worst.

’A tiny bit...’

What if they missed some monsters that were too strong for the three gems to stop? What if Singularity or Pulsar appeared there and he couldn’t help?

All of those possibilities made him anxious, however, he no longer felt helpless as he knew that Gloppy was going there.

Amelia shouted, grabbing his attention off of it for now.

"Yes, I’m coming."

He switched back into the normal Spirit Sword Stance, knowing that they probably had a problem with the Seal.

However, that wasn’t the reason they called for him.

Her hand pointed to the crystal where a small note was left. But it wasn’t written in either English or Japanese, instead, it was written in the same runic language they saw in the Demon gate.

"Can you read it for us Fearmogner?"

She nodded and took the note to check what it said.

"Of course. It says... 4th of the 5 seals Nebula had requested of us. Lucifer I hope you will forgive us for this..."

The list of questions that was so far only expanding, began to slowly shrink which put him at ease.

Nyssa could see that and smiled widely while looking at him.

Trevor cracked the Seal and stretched his back, the exhaustion was starting to set in on all of them as it was now well over 8 hours of constant movement.

"What do you say we take a moment to rest?"

Their tank offered, his old age making him unable to keep up with the others in their party. They all looked at Leo waiting for his answer.

Right, he was the party leader. He sighed and scratched his head, deciding if they could afford to rest for a moment.

He wanted to finish this as fast as possible, but if they weren’t rested well enough, they would end up dead.

To all of their shock, Trevor took out a tent out of his inventory, it was tiny! Way too small for even him to fit in it.

However, he crawled into it and took out a pack of dried beef, eating it happily while humming.

"Do you guys want some?"

His nonchalance lifted their moods a bit, especially since he was the one who wanted to leave the first.

Just as Leo began to relax a bit again.
