Easton Holmes blocked Bella Carter, who was about to head to the kitchen to grab chopsticks and a bowl for him, back into the living room, and at the same time, pulled Lily Turner down onto the sofa to sit with him.

Bella Carter took the thermal container placed at the side, opened it, and with communal chopsticks, scooped some of the dumplings into Lily Turner’s bowl.

This was the second time today Lily Turner had stopped Bella Carter. Earlier, before Easton Holmes arrived, she had already stopped Bella Carter once because of the dumplings.

Being stopped once more, Bella Carter didn’t give up as easily as she did the first time. This time, she moved Lily Turner’s hand from her wrist, and before Lily could stop her again, she scooped more dumplings into the bowl.

"These aren’t for you, they’re for Easton to eat." Only when there was no more room in the bowl did Bella Carter put the thermal container back on the coffee table.

"Thank you, sister-in-law!"

Easton Holmes politely said thank you, but his actions were far from polite. He reached out for the bowl full of dumplings and picked one up to put in his mouth.

Seeing this, Lily Turner rubbed her forehead in frustration, then secretly tugged on Easton Holmes’ sleeve, whispering so only he could hear, "How can you do this? The Captain hasn’t even eaten yet."
