Chapter 128: Chapter 128 You Have Already Missed the Perfect Time to Return the Product

Easton Holmes directly ignored Lily Turner’s protest and silently pulled her into the dining room. He pressed her into a chair at the dining table before turning to the kitchen to get the breakfast he brought back from the cafeteria.

"These are all specially brought back for you from the cafeteria." He placed his breakfast on the table and bent down to sit beside her.

"I’ve already had breakfast at your grandpa’s place."

In fact, Lily hadn’t really eaten anything at Grandpa Lee’s place because steamed buns and rice porridge weren’t her meals. Her daily breakfast was whole wheat bread, milk, and eggs.

The breakfast Easton brought back was quite similar to what was at Grandpa Lee’s, cleverly avoiding everything she needed except for the eggs.

She wasn’t being picky; as a model, she had to maintain her figure, and eating arbitrarily would lead to weight gain.

"Are you sure you’ve had breakfast?" Easton didn’t believe Lily’s words at all and directly exposed her lie, "If I haven’t seen it wrong, the rice porridge in your bowl just now hasn’t been touched, you didn’t even touch the steamed buns, and you didn’t eat the eggs either."

He didn’t consciously observe these things; it was just his subconscious habit.

"I ate one steamed bun."

The rice porridge in the bowl and the egg beside it were visible to him, but she didn’t believe he could see that she hadn’t eaten any steamed buns. He wasn’t a worm in her stomach.

Easton suddenly leaned closer to Lily with a wicked smile, "Just now, I didn’t taste any meat in your mouth. Is it that my taste buds have a problem? Or should I taste a little more carefully?"

As he spoke, he slowly moved towards her lips.

"Easton Holmes! You’re beyond saving!"

Lily pushed away the man leaning towards her and tried to get up to dodge to one side, when he grabbed her and she raised her hand in a gesture of surrender, "I was wrong! I truly know I was wrong."

Watching this, Easton wanted to laugh but held it in, purposely putting on a stern face, "Next time if you don’t listen and try to avoid me, do you believe I’ll spank you?"

He said, shaking his fist at her.

"I don’t believe it!"

Lily shook her head firmly; for some reason, she just felt that he wouldn’t hit her.

Seeing Lily shake her head without hesitation, Easton was both surprised and delighted, although he kept up the pretense of being angry, "Don’t believe it? Then I’ll show you now."

With that, he quickly flicked her head lightly, deliberately reducing the force.

"Easton Holmes! You actually have the potential for domestic violence. I’m going to tell Grandpa so he can sort you out."

Lily was just joking around with Easton and wasn’t serious at all, but she had noticed earlier how close and respectful he was towards his grandpa.

If he really bullied her in the future, his grandpa would indeed be a good person to reason with.

Hearing this, Easton chuckled, "Lily Turner! How old are you today? Still learning to tattle like kids—how childish."

He said, poking her forehead.

"You’re just now realizing I’m childish, but it’s too late. You’ve already missed the perfect time to return the goods." Taking advantage of Easton’s moment of being startled, Lily quickly pulled her hand away from him and moved to a spot just a little farther from him.
