Chapter 30: Rage.

’’NANAAAAAA!! NOOOOO!!! NOOOOO!!’’

Apollo start going berserk, he doesn’t know what do to with himself. He starts hitting his head on the ground. His pupils dilate and the color of his eyes change from orange to green, he then lets out a loud roar that causes a small earthquake in the area.

His teeth become slowly get sharper, as he transforms, he starts losing his sense of control. Lewis realizes what’s happening to him and attack in attempt to stop him. Lewis punches him on his jaw, where he falls on his back. Lewis follows by sitting on him and throws multiple punch at Apollo to hinder him from transforming.

His nails turn into claws, and he slaps Lewis off him leaving for scratches on his left cheek. His transformation continues as he grows hair around his arms and white whiskers grow from his cheeks.

Apollo’s body becomes bigger along with his arms, the shape of his legs, arms and feet change to accommodate his big body. Short black lines slowly appear around his body and orange and white fur started coming out on parts of his body.

’’I don’t care if you turn into some beat... I’LL FUCKIN’ KILL YOU!!’’ Lewis grabs the stick he used to beat Amari with and attacks Apollo.

He swings it towards Apollo with all his might, but his attempt is futile as the stick breaks on Apollo’s head. Apollo lifts his head slowly and locks eyes with Lewis. He can tell that Apollo is a whole different person from what he was.

Fear and doubt start to hinder his mind as they are both looking at each other with tension. Lewis hesitates and starts thinking of ways to defend himself against this monster.

Apollo growls and shows his sharp teeth, Lewis gets defensive and starts slowly tracking back in fear. Apollo attacks and swings his left claw at him but he swiftly and sprays his chemicals at his face. Apollo let’s out a shriek and cries trying to get the burning to stop from his eyes.

Lewis sees an opportunity for him to run for it for and attempts to run but Apollo caught his ankle with his teeth and swings him while still holding on to him multiple times. After finally swinging him, Apollo starts ripping his foot out of his leg.

’’AHHHH!!STOP!! PLEASE STOP!!’’

After finally removing the foot, he moves up the body and instantly goes for his neck, but Lewis stops him by trying to hold his mouth close. Apollo shakes himself loose and bites his whole forearm off in an instant. Lewis is still trying to fight for his life trying to crawl away.

Apollo’s mana pressure strikes fear into Lewis which paralyses him and brings fear to him.

’’Please, no... NOOOOOO!!!’’

Apollo slowly stretches his mouth while Lewis is fearfully begging for his life. When his head is in his mouth instantly rips it apart and spits it out, Apollo continues to tear his apart by piece by piece with his sharp claws.

’’Apollo! Stop now!’’

Apollo turns around and sees Amari, he sees a new prey from himself and slowly walks sideways looking for a chance to attack. He growls and shows his teeth towards Amari.

’’You don’t have to do this. You’re no animal Apollo.’’

Apollo attacks him immediately and pushes to fall on his back, Amari is overpowered by the beast-like strength of Apollo. He holds Amari on the ground by clenching his claws on his shoulders, Amari is still trying to fight back but his arms are still useless and are healing.

Apollo resists his urge to attack on Amari, and his starts fighting with himself trying to turn himself back. His size slowly starts decreasing and he starts to get severe migraines, he holds his head starts screaming in pain until he is back to his human form and collapses on the ground.

Both of them lay on the ground unconscious in the middle of the woods surrounded by a chaotic scene that resulted from the fight and destruction of Apollo.

(The morning At Apollo’s house)

’’Mama!!... have you seen Apollo? He’s not in his room’’ Chloe runs in the kitchen while Sophia is cooking breakfast.

’’No, he’s probably out with his friends.’’

’’So early? That’s weird, Apollo hates waking up early especially on the weekends.’’

’’Yeah, maybe he’s decided to change that. He has changed these past few months.’’

’’Yeah, I could tell from last night. That’s why I’ve been thinking to spend some time with him while I’m off from work, just to catch up some more.’’

’’Awww honey. I think that’s sweet of you to spend time with your brother again, considering you guys have been fighting frequently recently.’’

Chloe goes to assist her mother with the eggs.

’’Let me help you with that.’’

’’Thank you.’’ Sophia smiles at her.

’’So, mama you’re adding another family member huh?’’

’’Yep... I’m a little excited, to be honest with you.’’ Sophia smiles and rubs her tummy.

’’Do you know the gender?’’

’’No... not yet.’’

’’Oh... okay, I hope it’s a girl, because I don’t want this house to have another Apollo.’’

They start laughing.

’’Mama... do you think I’m ready?’’

’’Ready for what?’’

’’For marriage and a family. What you and dad have.’’

’’I wasn’t expecting you to be thinking about that sort of thing right now.’’

’’Not I’m not thinking about it, but when I watch you and dad, you guys seem happy and are enjoying your lives together and that’s something that I wanted for as long as I can remember.’’

’’To answer your question, these types of decisions aren’t rushed simply because of how they will be part of your life for the rest of your life. But your father and I did this because we felt ready and that’s what’s important, whether you feel ready.’’

’’Whether I feel ready.’’ Chloe whispers to herself.

Alexander rushes into the door and enters the kitchen trying to catch his breath. This surprises both Sophia and Chloe, he goes to get himself a glass of water.

’’Honey... what are you doing here?’’

’’Dad what’s wrong?!’’

Alexander finishes the water and looks both of them.

’’Nana...’’

’’Nana? What happened is she okay?’’

’’Someone kidnapped Nana.’’

’’What?!!’’

’’What do you mean kidnapped? As in taken?’’

’’Yes.’’

’’Where? How? When? Where?’’ Sophia starts fiddling around and becomes unrestful around her husband.

’’ Law enforcement found her carriage in the middle of the road near her house... and Maxwell... Maxwell’s throat was slit.’’

Both of cover their mouths with their hands in shock.

’’There was no sign of her except for one of her shoes. They also sent some members of the Wachter’s Guild members to go look for her.’’

’’What can we do?’’ Sophia starts pacing around the kitchen.

’’Nothing for now, we shouldn’t interrupt with what the Wachter can do.... So, honey please calm down.’’

Alexander stops Sophia and give her a hug and she starts crying.

’’I don’t want to lose her Alex... I can’t lose her.’’
