In the end, during the final moment, Hong He just couldn’t hold on any longer.

Hong He was straightforward. Since she mentioned having a method, there was no need for Qin Shou to press her for answers. She simply spat out a few silver needles and said, "Stick them in his chest, the mother needle will naturally draw out the daughter needles."

Without another word, Qin Shou picked up the needles and was instantly bewildered. He stared at the Eight Trigrams Furnace for a long time before finally asking, "Where the hell is your chest?"

The Eight Trigrams Furnace was just as confused: "I don’t know either."

Helplessly, Hong He said, "Just stick them in the lid of the Furnace..."

Qin Shou tried to do so and, regrettably, found that the needles couldn’t pierce through the body of the Eight Trigrams Furnace.

Qin Shou turned back to look at Hong He.

Hong He angrily said, "The daughter needles I planted are spirit needles, not physical ones. How would I know it’s this hard! If it doesn’t work, just throw them into the Furnace and try."

Qin Shou did as she said and, sure enough, after several mother needles dropped into the Eight Trigrams Furnace, there was a stir within its walls, and shortly after, eight silver daughter needles flew out, merging with the mother needles.

Both Qin Shou and the Eight Trigrams Furnace breathed a sigh of relief. Without another word, Qin Shou took the needles out and, in front of Hong He, stuffed them into the Xumi Bag and finally into the Black Demon Box.

Hong He angrily said, "Those are mine!"

Qin Shou defiantly replied, "So that blast at my brother’s Primordial Spirit was for nothing? This is the interest, got it?"

Hong He, grinding her teeth in anger, said deliberately, "Can you let me go now?"

Qin Shou snapped his fingers, and Chongba was about to release her, but Qin Shou rolled his eyes and scolded, "Are you stupid? You’re really gonna let her go?"

Chongba quickly took control of Hong He again and asked, "Not letting her go?"

Hong He and Hong Shan shouted in unison, "You’re not keeping your word!"

Qin Shou, clearing his ears, said, "Congratulations on guessing right. Your reward is, not letting you go."

The Eight Trigrams Furnace chimed in, saying, "This is a bit underhanded."

Qin Shou replied, "My master taught me this."

Chongba also said, "The master didn’t teach us that way."

Qin Shou stressed, "It’s master, not sir. My master once said, don’t relax until you’ve plucked, bled, cooked, and eaten your prey. Otherwise, you might be the one who ends up plucked, bled, cooked, and eaten!"

Chongba asked, "Kitchen God?"

Qin Shou replied, "Yeah."

The Eight Trigrams Furnace asked, "So what do we do now?"

Qin Shou said, "Grab this woman and run for it!"

The Eight Trigrams Furnace said, "Right, I know a way to run so they can’t catch us."

Qin Shou said, "Then what are you waiting for? Run!"

As they were talking, the Eight Trigrams Furnace enlarged, and Chongba grabbed Hong He and tossed her into the Furnace, then jumped in after her.

Qin Shou hoisted the Eight Trigrams Furnace and took off running!

Seeing this, Hong Shan and the others cursed, "Rabbit, you stop right there!"

Witch Clan members had already been guarding the surroundings. As Qin Shou and company burst forth, they all approached to block the way, but Qin Shou couldn’t care less. He swung the Eight Trigrams Furnace like a hammer; everywhere he passed, people in his path went flying, and as weapons and magics flew towards him, Qin Shou opened his mouth wide and swallowed them all!

Hong Shan and the others could only watch helplessly as Qin Shou carved a path of escape, running farther and farther, until a black hole burst open in the sky, and they disappeared into it.

Standing still, Hong Shan pointed at the sky and cursed, "Damn rabbit, no matter where you hide, I will kill you!"

Unfortunately, Qin Shou could no longer hear what he was shouting...

In the tunnel, the Eight Trigrams Furnace curiously asked, "Rabbit, what should we do with that woman now?"

Qin Shou replied, "Once it’s safe, we’ll just throw her back."

The Eight Trigrams Furnace was stunned, "Not going to kill her?"

Qin Shou rolled his eyes and said, "I, the great I, am a rabbit of my word. She let you go, so I’ll let her go. If we cross paths in the future, it’ll be a contest of skill. Do you really want to be known as a dishonorable trickster?"

The Eight Trigrams Furnace asked, "But you just now?"

Qin Shou said, "Just now? If I had let her go just now, what if those savages didn’t honor the deal? If they turned on us, we would have been in trouble. Better they’re troubled than us. I reckon they’re all cursing their mothers right about now..."

Upon hearing this, the Eight Trigrams Furnace burst out laughing.

Just then, the Eight Trigrams Furnace shouted angrily, "You wretched woman, what are you doing?!"

At the sound of that, Qin Shou immediately rolled over onto the Furnace, lifted the lid to look inside, and saw that Hong He, by some means, had turned the tables; she was clutching Chongba’s neck and staring fiercely at Qin Shou.

Qin Shou looked bewildered and said, "What’s going on?"

Chongba replied with a wry smile, "I don’t know, my body just suddenly got controlled and I couldn’t move."

The Eight Trigrams Furnace said, "You wretched woman, this is no longer Witch Clan territory, yet you dare act fierce here? Believe it or not, I’ll release the Samadhi True Fire and refine you!"

Hong He sneered, "Oh really, go ahead and try."

Seeing that threats didn’t intimidate Hong He, the Eight Trigrams Furnace immediately shut its mouth.

Hong He asked, "Rabbit, were you serious about what you said just now?"

Qin Shou’s face was full of question marks.

Frowning, Hong He said, "It seems I overestimated your intelligence. I’m asking if you’re really going to let me leave?"

Pointing at Chongba, Qin Shou said, "That depends on whether he can leave with us in one piece."

Upon hearing this, Hong He waved her hand and pushed Chongba to the side. Qin Shou quickly got down, tossed Chongba out, then closed the lid, staring intently at Hong He, fearful that this woman might pull some other treacherous stunt. Although their interaction was brief, the cunning methods of the Witch Clan were enough to give him a headache.

Hong He remained motionless, sitting quietly, and said indifferently, "You think by swallowing the rune power on his body, you’ve removed all his restrictions?"

Qin Shou shrugged and said, "Otherwise?"

Hong He said, "The Witch Clan are the direct descendants of Pangu, naturally possessing incredibly strong physical bodies, and the Ancestor Witches are even capable of withstanding a blow from a Saint with their flesh alone. United, the Twelve Ancestor Witches can become the body of Pangu, fearing no Saint."

Qin Shou cocked his head but remained silent, listening quietly.

Continuing on, Hong He said, "However, the Witch Clan has one major weakness, which is their souls! Even though they possess formidable physical bodies to protect their souls, the vulnerability of a weak soul has always been there. Some geniuses in the world can target this to create various magical methods and magic treasures that constrain the Witch Clan."

Pausing, Hong He added, "They have geniuses, and so does the Witch Clan. There are always some anomalies within the Witch Clan, with soft bodies, sometimes even resembling ordinary humans, but their souls are inherently strong. It is said to be because their souls absorbed the essence of their bodies at birth... The Clan calls these people Wizards.
