Chapter 582: Chapter 186: Good_1

"Wenqu Palace? They actually come from Wenqu Palace? Are they disciples of Wenqu Star Monarch?" Everyone exclaimed in surprise.

When it came to teaching, Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha naturally taught better than Wenqu Star Monarch. However, if it was about teaching etiquette and knowledge, Wenqu Star Monarch was absolutely the best in the world! An existence that no one disputed.

And the previous criticism of Wenqu Star Monarch by the big-headed baby was akin to a little novice monk criticising the Tathagata Buddha for reciting a scripture incorrectly, which seemed utterly ridiculous. However, everyone indeed felt that what Kui San did lacked proper etiquette and thus they all turned to look at Qin Shou, as though seeking an answer.

The big-headed baby sat up abruptly, exclaiming, "Impossible! How could Wenqu Star Monarch not know such basic etiquette?"

Qin Shou paid him no mind, laughing cheerfully to Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha, "I’ve attended few classes and heard even less. However, I’ve heard my teacher say that etiquette lies in the heart, not in form. Moreover, teaching should adapt to the student, tailoring instruction to their abilities, rather than a confused mix of everything. To be blunt, if you all were ordinary people, then indeed, Kui San sitting there would block your view. But are you ordinary people?"

Everyone fell silent...

Qin Shou continued, "I don’t believe it. If you really wanted to see, to learn, not just Kui San, but even if a mountain were in front, you would still be able to see, to hear, to learn. If you didn’t want to learn, even if I were sitting in front, I reckon you wouldn’t be able to hear or see..."

The crowd was silent.

The big-headed baby remained quiet because what Qin Shou said wasn’t being unreasonable. Although they were all children, they weren’t ordinary children; they were geniuses chosen from hundreds of millions, each with exceptional talent, who had been cultivating from a young age, with keen senses and strong mind and soul. It might be a bit hard to fly to the heavens and escape earth, but Riding the Cloud, Driving the Mist they could do. What’s more, Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha’s teachings were given verbally and he wrote nothing down. Whether or not one could see the front was actually not important...

So, Kui San sitting in the front couldn’t really affect them.

At this moment, Qin Shou added, "Your difficulty with us is nothing more than dissatisfaction. A person who has left home, with such a narrow heart, might as well not have left home at all! I think the Nether River Rogue Academy next door is more suitable for you—just go and kill whoever you don’t like. If you think my suggestion isn’t bad, come find me later. I’ll write you a recommendation letter, and you can go straight to Nether River Patriarch."

A group of children looked at Qin Shou with confused faces, then at each other... eyes full of curiosity and excitement.

It could be seen that some of the children were tempted...

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha saw this and knew he had to speak up now, otherwise his temple would instantly become a branch of the Nether River.

So Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha said, "Rabbit, are you saying you’re without fault?"

Upon hearing this, Qin Shou hurriedly stood up and kicked Kui San, shouting, "Stand up!"

The fool who was secretly laughing immediately obeyed and stood up. Then, rolling up his sleeves, he asked, "Rabbit, who are we hitting this time?"

Qin Shou’s face darkened immediately... thinking to himself: I TM want to hit you! Do you think we need more trouble or what?

The others realized that Kui San was a fool. So, they decided not to take a fool seriously and directed all their anger towards Qin Shou!

Qin Shou had a face full of grievance, a heart full of frustration, feeling at that moment that he was not himself, but a Chongba who TM had emerged from a coal pit, carrying a big black pot wherever he went!

Qin Shou glared at Kui San, saying, "Shut up!"

Kui San immediately covered his mouth with his hands, then looked at Qin Shou with his big, shifty eyes, glancing at the big-headed baby from time to time, as if to ask: "I understand, hit him secretly, right?"

Qin Shou was utterly speechless, took a deep breath, and said, "Turn around!"

Kui San obediently turned around.

Qin Shou said, "Apologize!"

Kui San paused, spreading his arms as if to say something, but under Qin Shou’s gaze, he didn’t dare utter a word, reluctantly bowed to all the students, including the big-headed baby, and apologized, "Sorry."

Then Qin Shou turned back to Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha and said, "Apologize."

Kui San said in a gruff voice, "Sorry."

Qin Shou said, "Sit."

Then Kui San sat down.

Seeing this, Xunxiang couldn’t help but laugh, "That apology of yours really lacked sincerity, didn’t it? They haven’t even said they accept it, and you’ve already sat down."

Qin Shou didn’t say anything, just kept looking at Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha.

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha laughed, "That’s it?"

Qin Shou pointed at Kui San and said, "He’s a fool."

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha said, "What of it?"

Qin Shou said, "You’re not really going to hold a grudge against a fool, are you?"

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha was speechless for a moment, then said, "But you were the one who hit him."

Qin Shou immediately ran to the big-headed doll and said, "Apologize!"

The big-headed doll had just been hit by Qin Shou and was still frightened by him, so he subconsciously said, "I’m sorry."

After saying it, the big-headed doll regretted it, but seeing the rabbit before him bare his teeth and glare with killing intent, he didn’t dare say anything else.

Seeing that the big-headed doll was subdued, Qin Shou finally smiled, "Good."

Then Qin Shou turned to look at Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha and asked, "Is that enough?"

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha gave a wry smile and said, "Let it go, let it go. It’s better to resolve enmity than to foster it. This matter ends here. Everyone, please leave. I’m about to begin the lecture."

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha was truly helpless; the people standing behind the rabbit were not ones he could afford to provoke. If the rabbit had stubbornly refused to admit his wrongs, there was not much Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha could do. But since the rabbit had given him an out, he took the chance to step down. After all, everyone had some fault in today’s incident. If he really had to press the matter, he couldn’t seriously be at odds with a fool, could he? That would be too embarrassing if word got out.

So, letting the matter rest was the best choice.

When Xunxiang and others heard Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha say this, they were somewhat reluctant but still respectfully bowed and left the Buddha hall.

Now, the only ones left in the Buddha hall were Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha, a group of children, along with a silly big guy and a dazed dragon.

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha massaged his temples and tapped the wooden fish, "Today, we will study ’The Lankavatara Sutra’... The Lankavatara-sutra, the scripture of the descent into Lanka, volume one..."

Upon hearing this, Qin Shou closed his eyes and tilted his head, soon falling asleep...

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha saw this, frowned slightly, and was about to strike, but after seeing that note, he gave up helplessly. Luckily, since the rabbit was small, he could sleep there unnoticed if Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha chose not to look his way.

But then...

"Hrrr... Hrrr..."

An ear-splitting snoring erupted!

It was Kui San, seeing that Qin Shou had fallen asleep without repercussions, deciding to do the same, except his snoring was louder than the voice of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha giving the lecture!

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha could not bear it any longer; with a raise of his hand, the next moment two figures were sent flying out of the Buddha hall...

One was the rabbit, sleeping sweetly; the other was Kui San, whose snores shook the heavens...
